This place has potential to be absolutely stunning but could do with a little TLC in places. However this is more than made up for the helpfulness and conversation of Nana Leite! (Not sure on the spelling so apologies here). This place runs its own boat over to the Island so this was convenient and saved being hassled in the main town. Location is down a steep hill a good way from Tagaytay. We took a tricycle which was not my best sidecar experience! Rooms were clean, shower was questionable and the views were beautiful. A/C was very noisy and a cockerel seemed to be up all night.

Wonderful place for family stay just opposite to Taal volcano lake area. This resorts is well maintained and friendly staffs with more care and kind. Everything you can get here for family and kids stay. My personal opinion is this area would be a good place to relax for corporate working families and hypertension guys. Just switch off your mobile and stay for three days, see the magic of your pressure level. Yummy breakfast provided, hot water, we got tasty dinner as well. My obsession is this management not running this resorts just for money, sure for guest safety, hospitality, care and affection. I really appreciated every one working here and wish them for bright business future. It’s really a telax booster from my regular business life.

I have stayed for 4 nights in this lovely resort. The room is very comfy and the view is fantastic on the lake and the vulcano. Good WI-FI . It is a bit far from the town so in my case I was depended on the food (vegetarian) at the resort, it was good food but a bit expensive. The hospitality was great; Lita is a lovely lady. I have had a great stay. They have changed the name it is San Roque Paradise these days!

Nice quiet place to stay on the lake. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and will arrange volcano trips etc. Grounds are pleasant and you can swim in the lake. Food is ok but there are no alternative places to eat close by. There is an interesting volcano monitoring station just up the road.

Our group of four arrived after dusk and turned down the narrow lane towards the lake. If you have anything wider than a small sedan just park at the road and walk. We were met by the owner, a pleasant lady who speaks english well. Having rented two separate rooms the owner had given us the apartment suite plus a standard room. The apartment is really spacious (and fully furnished) with bedroom, living room, dining room, veranda, and a porch looking out over the lake. During our stay the only air conditioning in the apartment was in the bedroom. We were surprised that we could order food from the hotel kitchen and it was delivered to the apartment so we could eat at the dining room table. The hotel is located right on the lake and guests have access to numerous activities relating to the volcano. The rooms were fairly clean and the staff was very friendly.

The location is amazing, right on the waterfront. A private jetty goes right into the lake. The rooms are cosy and clean on Philippines standards. The owner is a remarkable, strong and generous woman with whom we had pleasant conversations. She owns a small boat on which she arranged a trip for us to Taal Volcano. She treated us with good food and all the information we needed to get around. A great stay

Gt doesn't worth the time and money. Upon talking to the staff on the phone they keep on asking to hold on and send other person to talk. It's just not worth to spend my time and money going there. All fake description in the app about this hotel

great staff, great view :) My partner and i decided to visit this place since it's affordable and has good reviews. We stayed in the cheapest room but it didnt disappoint us. AC is available, room is clean and refrigerator is available. However, heater wasnt working. We stayed at lakefront cottage until midnight with some beer and chips and it was awesome. The owner gave us mosquito repellent since we didnt bring one. We decided to eat in Tagaytay since it's just 20 min drive from our place. Food is a little pricey for regular food at the hotel so better drive to Tagaytay for dinner. We didnt pay for anything when we checked out.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The first night we booked through a website, the second night we paid directly. When we asked, the proprietor matched the online rate for the second night. I guess that is an advantage for both because there is no fee for the booking site. The place is a bit out of town, so eating somewhere else is a bit of a hassle. We did not eat at the hotel because we read in other reviews that it is quite expensive. Besides, we still had a lot of food for the first day. Thesecond morning we had breakfast (not included). The breakfast isn't very cheap (250), but it was nice and filling. The view of te lake is very nice, also from our room on the second floor. Unfortunately the lake is not suitable for swimming at this location. I am not sure if it is suitable anywhere, anyway. The room was nice, clean, the AC worked, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit more ragged but still ok and the hot water shower worked well :-) The brother of the proprietor (who is the son of the owner) has a boat and can take you to the island for 1500/boat (this is a fixed fee for all boats). This means you dont't have to go to Talisay to arrange anything. So I recommend going to this place.
