Tana Beach Villas in Lian, Batangas, really felt like our little slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth that it set the tone for our entire stay. The place is super easy to find. You just search Waze, and you're good to go. The 2-hour drive from Alabang takes you through Tagaytay, which was the perfect excuse for us to stop for some coffee and snacks before continuing on.

When we got there, the friendly security guard greeted us with a big smile, and everything after that just felt effortless. The staff handled our luggage while we were escorted to the beachfront clubhouse to check in. We were treated to refreshing drinks as the receptionist kindly explained the amenities and house rules. The resort had this cool Bali beach vibe that immediately got us in vacation mode.

We stayed in the Tana Suite, and wow, it was amazing. It's on the second floor, it offered panoramic views of the resort, the pool, beach, clubhouse, everything. The room was so cozy and welcoming that we found it hard to leave. It really felt like a retreat within a retreat! Peaceful and comfortable, exactly what we were looking for.

This is the kind of place where you come to relax, recharge, and just let go. It's not for partying, but for finding some quiet and truly unwinding. We were grateful for the serene atmosphere, it was just what we needed.

One of the best parts of our trip was watching the sunset over. It was honestly breathtaking, the kind of moment that stays with you forever. The way the sun slowly dipped beneath the horizon was like something straight out of a postcard. See the pics!

And then there was the food. Every meal was delicious, but the beef tapa, in particular, was a standout. The dishes were well-prepared and super satisfying, a perfect complement to our relaxing stay.

The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with attention to detail in every corner. The staff were all incredibly kind, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible.

My wife and I left Tana Beach Villas feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. We’re definitely planning on coming back, and we’ll be telling all our friends and family about this gem. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience we won’t soon forget.

Peaceful and Restful Stay with My Kids

Recently experienced a devastating loss and we wanted to relax from everything that has happened so I decided to book Tana Beach Villas with my two daughters along with our household staff.

The place is beautiful - The views of the sunset and sunrise are unobstructed. The restaurant is very beautiful with music that was well thought of to keep the ambience consistent. The place was quiet and there were no rowdy crowds and unsavory guests. The villas were so beautifully designed that I kept taking pictures to recreate in building our next home.

The staff? They are great. Special mention to Operations Manager Allan, Reception Officer Jhona and Restaurant Manager Ronald for being accomodating, kind and courteous. We had Smores by a bonfire on our first night and we swam on the beach and the pool all day on our second day. The housekeeping staff are attentive and the rooms are very, very clean.

They also have external partners for activities. We didn't try because we're already content hanging out in the rooms and in the resort. It's a quaint beautiful gem of a resort. It's not overwhelming and it's just the right size for small families like mine.

I hope they will maintain this place. I will definitely save up to come back.

Thank you Tana Beach Villas for helping us hea through something without your team knowing. What a relaxing and beautiful stay.

Getaway for 4 friends traveling from Ireland and Malaysia to meet up in the Philippines. Despite arriving around 8pm, we were warmly greeted by Allan the manager, and treated to welcome back&shoulder massages. The villas were tastefully designed and the view of the pool and sea very instagramable. Over the next 3 nights, we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality from all the staff, and even the owner offered us tea and use of his driver to visit the market and shops at nearby Nasugbu. Highly recommended for a relaxing luxurious stay. The last night was made extra special with a musician singing acoustic songs during dinner.

Our stay at TANA Beach Villas had some highlights and a few disappointments. The rooms were comfortable, with cold air-conditioning, and the food and drinks were delicious – I genuinely enjoyed every dish. The staff in the clubhouse were especially attentive and considerate, helping me select foods that were easier to eat since I was recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. The male staff and female therapists were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service, especially during our welcome massage, which we upgraded to an hour at a very affordable price.

However, there were a few drawbacks. Unfortunately, they don’t provide a Netflix account on their TVs, so guests need to log in with their own accounts, which was inconvenient. Also, during our bonfire, they didn't offer marshmallows, which would have enhanced the experience.

The operational manager’s attitude was inconsistent, as he seemed to treat Filipino guests with less patience than foreign guests, which felt unfair. The administrative staff, especially the female team, were also unaccommodating. For example, despite booking three villas, they insisted on rushing us out even after we’d checked out of one villa and were simply finishing lunch in the clubhouse. They also charged extra fees unnecessarily, which was frustrating.

Lastly, unlike other resorts, they didn’t allow us to take the slippers with us, which felt odd for a beachfront property.

Overall, while the location and some staff were great, the management’s attitude and certain policies make it hard for me to recommend TANA Beach Villas in the future.
