Busuanga Bay Lodge, Palawan Resort is part of the integrated resort enclave in Busuanga, Coron, Palawan called Puerto del Sol. We are located in the southwestern part of Busuanga Island, in northern Palawan. You can easily escape from the pressures of city living by a 45-minute flight from key hubs like Manila, Cebu, and Davao - or by an even shorter flight from the provincial capital of Puerto Princesa. Busuanga is rich in biodiversity, and so the resort was envisioned to promote and support such a beautiful natural community. The Bermuda-inspired architecture and the name of our boutique getaway are from the developer's desire to initially create a fishing retreat. However, this activity is only one of many that Busuanga has to offer. Renewable energy and sustainable design are among the key thrusts in the development. Indeed, we have created an oasis in this semi-remote part of Busuanga Island in Palawan by ensuring that guests can enjoy all the modern conveniences onsite as well as have the easiest access to luxury adventures in the area's on-land and underwater attractions. Inside the resort, guests will be pampered with luxurious Spa Services and offered an extensive wine selection from the in-house Wine Cellar.

They have the most accommodating staff here in Busuanga. It’s also the best place to unwind and relax with your family and friends. They have a captivating scenery and have the best view of the sunset. We’ll definitely go back and stay here again.

We stayed at Busuanga Bay for 3 nights in a sea view room. It’s quite an isolated resort so nothing in walking distance but absolutely stunning and for 2-3 nights a brilliant base to enjoy the scenery and relax. The hotel is immaculate, grounds are beautiful and the staff attention amazing. From the minute you arrive to depart they are able to assist, checking you have what you need and also providing ice water while lazing by the pool. The food at the restaurant was really good and a mix of food available so everyone was happy - prices are maybe 8-15£ for a main so expensive for Phillipines but luxury resort prices. Same with drinks maybe £2.50 for a beer or £5 for a cocktail but a happy hour 4-6 and the view was worth the prices! You get a free continental or local breakfast but anything else (pancakes/granola/American) is paid for as is any fresh juice. This was slightly out of kilter with everywhere else we stayed where breakfast was anything from menu so would be my one suggestion for improvement as seems to be more normal across where we’ve stayed. The resort is hilly but you can call a buggy to take you around the resort. We took out the kayaks one day and viewed the WWll plan wreck - super easy to kayak and a good couple of hours on the water (free activity). My husband and daughter also did a scuba trip that the hotel arranged with a local dive school. Outside of that the paid excursions were out of our budget as 3-4 times higher than we expected so we contacted Ann and Mick restaurant in the next village who arranged a private boat tour for the day which was just under £100 for the 4 of us including food and drink which we pre-ordered. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a villa which was very spacious with two very large bedrooms both with ensuites and a private pool. The villa was great! It was very hot when we visited. There is aircon in both bedrooms, but nothing in kitchen/living room unless you keep the bedroom doors open- the aircon couldn’t keep up with that, so hot in living area. The villa could use black out blinds as it gets intense morning sun. That would also help with the heat issue! Pillows and beds were great. Pool was amazing and very private with a phenomenal view. It is quite removed from restaurant etc, but a golf cart can pick you up to drive you wherever you want to go (it’s a steep 1/2 km walk otherwise). Food was pretty good for a few days. A little on the expensive side as were the drinks (in particular). They offer excursions, but again on the expensive side- albeit private/semi private so may be worth the price? We didn’t do any. Free kayak/paddleboards and some daily activities. Not much around this area- it is a bit secluded unless you have transportation or are interested in the Japanese wrecks (scuba diving). The pool and lounge area at the restaurant was really nice too- a great place to hang out. A band played every few nights and was absolutely incredible! We had a lovely relaxing time here. Incredible staff were a highlight.

The service was far and beyond what we expected. It was excellent all throughout. From the time we landed the guy who collected us up from the airport was very polite and courteous. We were greeted with a song, which I thought was very sweet. Until the time we were driven off on our last day, what we received was gratitude, warm service and smiles. I was teary eyed to part from the place. All the staff were very friendly and all they offer is warm hospitality. 100% excellent service.

My daughter, my wife and I only stayed one night but we liked everything of this resort. Receptionist, waiters, musicians, everyone was very kind. They extended our check out until 16:00, It is far away, but the landscapes are amazing and you can do a lot activities here. It is a luxurious recomendable resort.
