A very well laid out large side. Large hard standings with electricity. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Plenty of water points. Easy to use grey water disposal area. Good toilet cassette facilities. I wouldn’t want to stay there in the high season as it was so large. Helpful staff

First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to the owners, Jane and Thomas, who could not do enough for us both when I became very ill and had to be taken into hospital. Jane went to fetch me a walker to help me walk to the car and helped me in. They later presented me with some lovely flowers and a card, they kept checking to see how I was. Now I would like to say how absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean the Parkside Barn and grounds are. There is nothing more you could wish for, they have thought of everything. It is such a tranquil, peaceful and relaxing place to stay where you don't want to leave. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it will defiantly not be the last. We can 100% recommend to stay here. Thank you again Jane and Thomas and will see you again soon. Heather, Barry and Molly

Bank holiday weekend and we had a 3 night visit with our tourer. Site is really tidy with lots of static caravans. Our pitch was spacious. A nice walk up to the village with 3 pubs. We tried to run the 3 mile loop around the river but it has several styles to cross. Toilets and facilities are excellent. A lovely site with lots of places to visit nearby. We had a lovely walk at ingleton waterfall trail which is 4 miles away.

Attended Monday 3rd April 2023 after spending the day golfing at Bentham golf club which is also owned by the same family as this caravan park. The park is immaculate, the grass is cut perfect, the reception is clean and the staff were very friendly and informative. The motorhome plot was spacious, clean and quiet. The toilet / shower block which entry is controlled by a remote fob supplied by the reception on arrival are both warm, very clean and modern. The shower area has underfloor heating and the water was lovely and warm.

Stayed for 4 nights in August and have to say was very happy. The site is pristine, clean and well maintained. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We stayed on a hard standing pitch which is level (tarmac) and level gravel hard standing. I normally got for hard standing as we have an 8' wide 8m long caravan but I would certainly consider a grass pitch here because they are so well maintained and of a very good size. There's plenty for families to do, playpark and family games room on site. The facilities are clean, well maintained and the showers are one of the best I've used on any site. You will need an aerial connection if you want TV as it was almost impossible to get signal from the caravan aerial. You can rent or buy a cable from reception for little cost. We aim to be back with friends next year.

I would highly recommend this site. It is spotlessly clean, has lots of spacious and flat touring pitches and handily placed between the Lakes, Dales, and the Forest of Bowland. It even has a charging point for electric vehicles. 15 mins walk from the shops and facilities in Bentham. Pleasant and helpful staff too!
