Detailed Reviews
We stayed here as provided by Camino Ways for our Coastal Camino. Since it was the tail end of winter, we were the only peregrinos staying there.
Isaac waited for our arrival in the early evening and explained that the on-site retaurant was closed but arranged our included dinner at a nearby restaurant. He offered to drive us there, too. He provided a filling continental breakfast. He was very accomadating and friendly.
Our room was on the 2nd floor with a nice balcony and a view of the river. Room and bathroom (shower/tub combo) were clean and spacious with two twin beds, a tv, and toiletries provided were suffice. The room had those heater/AC units that kept the room warm through the night.
Since we were the only people staying at the hotel, and there were not many cars on the road during our 1 night there, it was a little too quiet.

We had a good room with a balcony and nice sea views. The wifi was good but the soundproofing in the room seemed to be poor and we could hear someone coughing in a neighbouring room all during our stay. The bar was open from 1pm which was helpful as options for lunchtime dining in Arcade are limited. We were disappointed with the lunch menu which was expensive and not particularly good. The evening meal (included with the room) was also disappointing. Breakfast was set out on individual tables which we found wasteful. We'd prefer a buffet style breakfast so we can take what we want and don't leave any unwanted food to waste.

Through is was a ok place. The walls were very thin as were the mattresses. The attendant was extremely welcoming and the breakfast was minimal but very good the young girl gave us a bag to take a lunch with us.
They also told us to walk to the harbor to eat and avoid the main strip

My wife stayed for 1 night during our Portuguese Camino walk.
Unfortunately, the room was probably the worst of 10 hotels we stayed at.
It is in desperate need of a refurb, the walls were paper thin and the bedding etc was very old.
As it was October, our evening meal was provided at a local fish restaurant which was very good.
Breakfast the next morning was also good.

Initially, I was not very happy because I thought I had asked for TWO separate beds. Aparently, there was an error and I asked if they could change my room but they said only if I paid double what I had already paid. The bed they provided was too small for 2 grown people. They wouldn't make any sort of ajustment for us even though the other room with 2 beds was available. I felt oike they didnt care if I was comfortable or not. Also, I got double charged for the city room tax.

This hotel was part of our Camino way and whereby it looks ok in the outside the rooms could do with a real makeover to come up to today’s standards.
Leftover rubbish in one of the drawers from previous occupants. No hairdryer, I mean I’m a woman and the one time I travel without I’m left with a real bad hair day. Beds are just adequate. All that said clean and pleasant enough staff.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location and staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed here one night in the Camino- we arrived early but they were happy for us to check in. The rooms are small but have everything you need- clean and functional ( don’t expect luxury), but the best buy was our balcony overlooking the bay. We got a great night sleep here and the staff gave good food recommendations. Breakfast was allocated rather than being a buffet, but it was fine.

We stayed 1 night in hotel Duarte (22/10) on our camino Portugues.
Everything was oke.
Nothing to complain about.
The on site-restaurant was an advantage, especially for those walking the camino.
So you musn't leave the hotel to look for a restaurant after a long day of walking.

For us it was more like the hotel, or rather its location, choose us instead of us choosing the hotel. It is very conveniet located along the camino. It is a simple hotel but good value for money. Fast check in, friendly staff and it offers the basic things you need for your one night stay.
The breakfast was nice. As we were a bigger group we got to sit upstairs which was really nice.
The next door bar was unfortunately closed when we were there. It would have been nice with a cold drink after a full day of walking.

Arcade isn’t much more than a wide spot on the road. This hotel is owned by a very nice lady whose English is excellent. Our one night here during our pilgrimage was pleasant. We were here first guests in 18 months due to COVID-19. Restaurant/bar on site is pretty good an convenient, no sense going elsewhere after a long day walking. Clean Rooms that were typical for the price. I’d stay here again. This hotel is right on the Camino.
