Difficult to find similar personalized service and attention in the city of Barcelona; but here -just 40 minutes drive- you really get what you have been looking for since you had a sunday lunch with your parents at your favourite local restaurant. From the beginning (valet

Stayed here whilst we went to the Spanish Grand Prix as not far from the track. Beautiful location, Cabrils is a hilly, quaint town full of pretty windy streets. We stayed in the original farmhouse building, Room 9, right at the top with a sea view. No lifts in the hotel so

We were looking for a hotel to spend 3 nights recuperating after a week hiking in Val de Nuria and the Hostal de la Plaça turned out to be one of our best finds of this year. Luck and a well set up GPS was essential to find it! Our really charming & spacious room (no 5) up on

"We were on the top floor and had incredible views down to the sea."
"Do ask if the room has wifi and try get a room with a view to the sea."
"Cabrils has more to offer than simply this hostal and is well worth the visit. The area has other fine restaurants making it something of a gastronomic enclave not far from the coast. Potential guests should keep in mind that this is a building that is hundreds of years old and therefore has a number of peculiarities (due to its age). But the environment is clean and tidy and contains lots of memorabilia that helps puts it all in context."
"We asked for a room in the historic building - with a four-poster bed and blue shutters. Great view of the Mediterranean!"
