A new resort hotel which is an almost perfect staging area for scuba diving. The rooms are clean with comfortable bed. The rooms are provided an intercom, cable TV, complementary bottled water, hot shower and free wifi. The resort is very accessible and has good parking area. The buffet meals are simple but delicious and generous. The hotel is along the beach front with a good access to the shoreline and a good dive spot is just a few kicks offshore. It has a freshwater swimming pool and a jacuzzi and the dining area has good view of the ocean. The service is alright, the staff are courteous and helpful, but being a new hotel, it has some rough edges. The hotel is very strict with check in and check out. In most hotels, guests are allowed to check in earlier provided rooms are already available and made up. We arrived early, before lunch and were told that we will be charged extra if we checked in earlier than the 2 pm check in time. The same with the check out. We were asked to check out by 12:00 noon, so we had to hurry lunch and the morning dive to be able to clear out the room by 12:00 noon. We find this very unusual and very inconvenient. The common practice by resorts in Anilao is tailor suited for scuba divers, like check in before lunch and check out after leisurely late lunch the following day. The place will be perfect for scuba divers if the management will adjust a tweeny weeny bit its check in-check out policy.

Before arriving in the resort, you will go through uphill zigzags with some sharp curves. Be sure to check your car brakes and engines.
The resort is located before a sharp right curve so big chance of missing the turn and arrive at the next resort which is Eagle Point. I just followed waze app and it directed us to Eagle Point. Worst, driving along a vvveeerrry narrow 1 lane up and downhill path ( just imagine if you encounter opposing cars and beside a cliff!). We even reached the parking area of that resort until we finally confirmed that it wasnt Bagalangit Hideaway.
We didnt see any signange along the way. A small signage of Bagalangit Hideaway together with more visible signs of BONTOC AND O2 RESORT will be seen before making that right turn to the resort. The way to the resort is also narrow and at the edge of a cliff but shorter than that of Eage Point. Upon entering the property, you will feel a sigh of relief!!
The resort will officially open March2018 after renovation, but managed to operate due to high demand.
The view infront of the hotel is breathtaking. Dont expect a sandy beachfront as this area is known for scuba and snorkling. It is rocky but tolerable. Water can be 3-4ft in height on low tide maybe til the 1st 5 meters and suddenly drop to a man's height. There is a floating cottage in the middle. Life vest and kayak are free to use. Swimming pool with slide is of decent size and according to caretaker does not use chlorine!
Food selection was still limited bec they are still finalizing the menu, and i find the price reaonable enough for a resort. Like sinigang soups can cost p250-300, rice p30/cup, viands p200-300 for 2-4pax.
Decent Rooms size but i think lack some table and chair. Hard to Shower as water pressure is weak but faucet below is strong. Sometimes also fluctuating as water supply in mountain is a challenge.
Finally, the staff, staff, staff are all commendable!!! Special mention to the guy manager (sorry forgot to get ur name) who is very hands on and clearly satisfies their guest.
Just a suggestion: If you could add more signs along the way and double check waze app as Bagalangit Hideaways is being directed to Eagle Point Resort.

As the name implies, Bagalangit is truly a piece of heaven on earth. Check-in was smooth, rooms were all clean. We had the room facing the sea which was fantastic! Air conditioning was also in great working order. Food was buffet style and were very generous. No one will be left hungry at all. The place was always clean as well. There are lots of activities to do there. The hotel provides snorkeling, kayaking, jet ski rides, island hopping, and intro to scuba diving. The hotel staff, guides and boat men always had easy smiles and helping hand with anything that you needed. You definitely get more than you paid for in this fantastic getaway! Definitely a place to go back to!

We didn't know what to expect, but from the moment we step in all I want is to stay outside look and behold the view, Bagalangit has this feeling of giving you a relax feeling, and I just realized the entire time I was there I didn't bother to look at my watch and for the first time in two years, my stress headache was gone.
We will definitely come back, soon!

This is n amazing hotel, except for the bathrooms. When we arrived there, it was literally in the middle of the jungle. My family got lost on the car because it was so hidden, so I do recommend this place if you are a criminal! As soon as we checked in, we had a medium sized room with comfy beds. The meals were excellent too. We were served a huge meal every time it was time to eat. There were three to four big plates of food being served at our table. The pool and ocean was the best part! There is an ocean right behind the hotel, and you can dive from a small dock. There is also a pool with a slide that you can swim in. You can also have the workers drive you to other beaches. Overall, this vacation was awesome but one poor part was the bathrooms. The tap water is so bad umm, I don't know how to explain this... It basically comes out really fast in a thin line towards the back of the tap. This is probably hard to imagine, but it's true. Thanks for reading and why not take a minute out of your life to come visit this awesome hotel?

Our hotel stay was during a very quiet season of the year so on our first night we had the hotel on our own. This was a little disconcerting and spooky especially the location of the hotel is obscured from the main town and there was an on going storm. Location was a little hard to find but Waze helped. Our room was very clean. It needed more storage and tables. The shower was weak and needed more pressure. Breakfast or any water activity was not included in the price we paid which was more than the average rate at this time of the year. The Jacuzzi's water jets were broken so really pointless. Other than that everything else is superseded by the friendliness, professionalism, warm hospitality, helpfulness, politeness and unpretentious staff members. Thank you with special mention to the 3 girls at the reception during our 2 night stay of July 15-16, 2018. Sorry I forgot all the names but I remember Yeng who was so helpful she abide to all my sister's request, the brown eyed girl and another girl with chinky eyes who checked us out with efficiency. Special mention to Derek our snorkelling instructor whose calm demeanour made the dark waters less ominous. You are all the best assets of this establishment.

Stayed here last Jun2-3, 2018 with family. The place is a bit secluded and the road going there is too narrow. It’s a private resort that was opened to public. We booked 3 deluxe rooms via Agoda and it was really cheap. However, not all deluxe rooms can fit it an extra bed. We had to move from one room to another. My in-laws moved twice and was finally upgraded because the first room’s AC was not working, while the 2nd room’s toilet flush is defective.
What we liked about the resort is it’s pool with slide and fountain. You can swim until 10pm in the pool. We tried to swim in the ocean and it was really deep. They have life vest and snorkelling gears for rent (not free anymore). The food is so-so but the staff are polite. They have free Wifi though it’s very weak in the rooms. They can arrange an island hopping tour to Masasa Beach (1hour by boat). No phone in the room. There’s a room service massage but you have to arrange it early in the reception. Btw, you can borrow a hair dryer from them as well.
For the price that we’ve paid, it’s worth it.

we had an early holy booking for 1 night at Bagalangit Hideways to avoid the usual crowded holy week break. We booked for March 27 to 28 at a family room. We are a group of 5. Location: easy to find with ample signage Parking: convenient and secured Room: spacious (we hade 2 queensize beds and 2 single beds. Bathroom: simple (shower and toilet bowl. no bathtub). With hot and cold shower. Amenities: Good ocean view because it's elevated with lots of chairs and tables to relax. Big pool had a slide for the kids to enjoy and 1 small jacuzzi style pool. Ocean is very ideal for snorkeling and diving. Very rich marine life. Food: We had a simple dinner but was OK. Fish soup was nice and fresh. I would recommend this place for family with kids and people who likes diving and snorkeling to see the beauty of the under water world.
