We visited this resort for the 2nd time just recently. Our first visit was in May of 2007.
This resort is so isolated, you have to park your car, and then you’re shuttled down a steep hill to the actual facility. We were given a friendly welcome from Joanne at the front desk, and a cool drink for each of us. After being escorted to our room with our bags, we went to the restaurant for some lunch. They only have one restaurant at this resort, but the food is very good and the service was excellent. Our server in the morning was Rhea, and the evening was Letlet. They took very good care of us, and were quick to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the food, and the wide variety of food choices.
The resort has their own private beach, which you are shuttled by boat to enjoy. There is an extra fee, but it’s worth it. We had the beach to ourselves, and the restaurant will pack you a lunch on request. The water at the beach is crystal clear, and great for snorkeling. The boat will stay there for you until you’re ready to head back to the resort.
The only negatives about the resort is we had no hot water for our 2 night stay, and the mattresses are pretty stiff. That would not stop us from visiting again. The sunset view from the pool or restaurant is worth the price. We also opted for a room with an ocean view. I definitely recommend Eagle Point for a quiet getaway, in beautiful surroundings.

Pleasantly surprised with the snorkeling just a few meters off the edge of the resort. Saw more varieties of fish than in Palawan. Water is clean though salty. No beach but that's not what we wanted anyway.

BUT it's an old resort & even newer structures (built probably a decade or so ago) are not maintained the way they should be. Just basic maintenance so that things are usable. There's all sort of junk lying around all over even in common areas.

Service is friendly but spotty. They let dirty plates, etc. sit outside rooms & near the pool for almost an entire day even after we told them about those.

Food is ok, decent but on the expensive side.

Wifi in the reception/dining area is good enough but non-existent in the rooms though there's cable TV. Globe signal better than Smart.

Room we got was good for 4 so it's spacious. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Aircon worked well. Bathroom clean & also spacious, and water pressure is OK (not strong but sufficient to shower). Room not completely clean though. The lamp shades & light bulbs were dusty (1 was even broken).

Best part aside from snorkeling: isolated from the rest of Anilao/Mabini as it's on its own cove with no other resorts or residents nearby. There's even a long drive down from the main road (guests park at a certain point & are taken to the resort in a shuttle). So it's very private & quiet when we were in our room.

The worst part for us is the free karaoke, with other guests assaulting our ears with their horrible singing when we were by the pool & dining area. Fortunately I chose a room at the farthest end of the hotel building so they can't be heard when we were in our room or even outside at our balcony.

For the price that's cheap compared to other Anilao resorts, it's good value. I'm even willing to pay double if the whole resort is upgraded or even just de-cluttered, furnishings are refinished, structures are cleaned & repainted & replace broken items, etc.

It took us more than 3 hours to reach this resort, but it's worth the trip. Has a very good ambiance, with a 2 tiered pool overlooking the sea.. It also has a reef pool for those who are beginner in diving..Food is great but buffet breakfast ia not as tasteful when you ordered a plated one.. Room is very spacious, ours waa overlooking the sea, has 2 double beds which are quite spacious, has a veranda, a big closet, flatscreen tv and a ref.. has a clean cr and shower room but i think the sink has a smell. but over all, we love tge resort and will definitely comes back..

My family and I went to Eagle Point resort pre-pandemic. They just recently reopened so it seemed a bit overstaffed for the number of guests there were. I like how it felt like we booked the entire resort for ourselves though. I went back to get some remote work done for approximately a week while looking at the ocean view from their restaurant. Would've been nice to not have to pay separately to access wifi from the rooms. Free wifi at the reception & restaurant though and the rustic design & ocean view are still amazing so not really much of an inconvenience. The scarcity of people in the restaurant made it very possible to work without distractions. Let Let, one of the staff at the restaurant was friendly. Food was ok. I like their pancit bihon and the fresh mango shakes! The restaurant used to serve food buffet style, but it makes sense that currently with only a few guests the food is now served ala carte, not included in the nightly room rate. The rate is a bit expensive to be honest. It's ~$88 (4200php)/night for a 2-person occupant room. Additional groups of friends/relatives arrived a few days later only to have them sleep on the extra mattresses placed on the floor, for an additional fee per head of course. My fault that it didn't occur to me to ask until much later & neither did staff mention that they do have a 3+ person occupant room with a bigger space & where the extra people actually would've had a non-floor bed for a cheaper cost than paying for each of the extra floor mattresses. As for the pool, it's ok, it's a pool. You get nice ocean views from the pool too. There's a boat you can rent for a daytrip to one of the islands. I usually try not to be rude, mean or say negative things, but the island beach was dirty... There were glass shards and piles of trash on the shore throughout the island. It's not Hawaii so can't expect much to begin with, but it would've otherwise been nice for other people visiting the island too if the beach is actually walkable without fear of stepping onto a glass shard or swallowing trash as they swim.

We had such an amazing stay at Eagle Point. Their facilities are very nice. From the lobby, restaurant, open areas, pool areas, game room, and to their rooms, everything was impeccable. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and very comfortable. They offer a slew of activities, some for a fee, such as scuba diving, kayaking, snorkelling, banana boat rental, and a visit to a private island they manage; while some activities are free of charge, such as use of their fresh water swimming pool, use of their salt water pool, use of their billiard and pingpong tables, and, if you have your own equipment, snorkelling around the area.
There is an abundance of marine life around the resort, and it is definitely worth your while to explore the waters.
Lastly, I cannot say anything bad about the staff, as they are some of the best I have dealt with. Their service was indeed exceptional. Some of them even became our friends. I definitely recommend staying here! Cheers!

We had a loft room 3 big comfy beds, 1 upstairs for a little privacy. Room was facing the ocean with a balcony and fantastic view. Nice table and chairs to enjoy privacy and outdoor air and spectacular view. Room was clean, spacious comfy and our Smart cellphone signal gave us no problems here. Wi-Fi was good near the pool bar and restaurant areas.

Snorkeling was just awesome, we got our gear from the dive shop and walked just a few meters into the ocean and explored for hours the beautiful coral reef along the ocean bank of this resort. Easy enough to swim to shore, order food and drinks along the pool side take a break from the ocean and dip into one of the two beautiful pools. The pools were well maintained as well. The restaurant served great food and drinks. Loved the fish tacos with mango salsa complimented with a WengWeng beverage. The sunset at this location is a beautiful sight every evening. We spent most of our evenings eating poolside. Morning breakfast was always fresh and delicious and we utilized the covered restaurant terrace overlooking the ocean with nice open windows to experience the fresh air. Staff was super accommodating as well. It was our 10th anniversary and we got surprised with flower pedals on the floor and beds, ballon’s and a small cake. One of the staff was very helpful with all our questions and giving suggestions. She helped make our stay very personal and a memory to never forget. So look for Lethleth if you go there and tell her you saw this review and I bragged on her. Also scuba diving for certification is a bit cheaper than what I have priced in Puerto Galera and the access they have to the reef area means no boat required very convenient. The shore side is rock, but the coral and rock make for very clear water with lots of marine life to discover and see. Highly recommend this place.

We also took the island hopping tour, the resort took our planned food order and we were escorted to the boatmen with our food packed ready to cook on the remote white sand beach they tour you too. I would recommend packing up snacks and your own ice n drinks before doing this. Food prep n accommodations are great at the beach but lacking snacks and cold beverages.

The room is good and the resort food is also good. The service vehicle is not appropriate to use since the tire is already due for replacement and the brake is also squeezing like metal to metal. The maintenance supervisor tried to argue with guest when i complain it. since my family is with me. the road going to resort is very stiff like 30 degrees downward and the tire might explode anytime. the supervisor just answer that it is only a kilometer from parking to resort area. this might put the risk of lives of my family and other guest.
the maintenance supervisor should not hold the position since he doesn't know what is the best for their guest. he even said that there is already budget but the replacement of tire and brake did not commence. and he also blames the driver.

Dear Sir, We would like to thank you for letting us know your observations, which are well taken and appreciated. We totally agree with you, since the safety of our guests is our utmost priority. The tires of our shuttle van were quickly replaced the next day. We are also conducting customer service training for our newly hired personnel, since only about 50% of our previous workforce was rehired when we reopened last year, after our resort was closed for 2 years during the pandemic. Again, we thank you for having the opportunity to be of service to you and your family. We hope you can visit us again soon.

My friends and I loved our 1 day stay here, the place is really picturesque, their employee are really approachable, nice, understanding. If your goal is to have a sunset perfect picture and a nice spot to dive and all this is the perfect place to go to. The day tour experience includes luscious foods too, lunch and a snack. The only complain I have is that their pool is a bit dirty, but you can still bathe in it tho.

No idea how this “resort” used to be, but now half of the premises are abandoned, crumbling apart and taking back by mother nature.
Initially surprised to find they don’t allow outside food and drinks, but later we understood why. Next they are asking extra payment per device per 24 hours of wifi, like if we were still living in the 90’s.
Back to the food. Things got worse as we ordered 2 “pizzas” in a totally empty restaurant, we waited 40 minutes and they bring two “pizzas” clearly basic frozen pizza they just sprinkled something on top of and baked on a pan. Burned black all over on the bottom and the cheese was not melted on the top. 🙈
We complained and the best they could do was not to charge us and tell us they looked into getting a oven for pizzas in the future. My girlfriend was trying to get the best out of it and ordered a local dish. They didn’t ask me if I wanted something and just walked out with her order. 🤯
Great how about not selling us burned, frozen bread and try to hide it and at the same time enforce a god damn monopoly on eating their food and drinking their beverages? 🤔
Diving options for 1 diver at the resort: 7600 PHP for 2 dives. Haha. It is 1200 PHP a dive in this area.
After just 6 hours we have no doubt why this place is empty and looks so worn down. Guests most have abandoned the bad service, bad food and unreasonable prices and put their money elsewhere. Cannot recommend for anything else, but snorkeling of Eagle Point at this point in time.
