Best place to be when diving in Batangas! Very accomodating staff, the place is clean and quite plus the food served here are all delicious. Was shocked to know that I’m getting more that what i paid for. Excellent and awesome place to be!
This is our third time in planet dive . We like this dive resort because the staff are very friendly , nice view and the resort was once well maintained . On our recent trip , we stayed like always in brown room 1& 2 . The rooms look tired , and needs improvement . The bathroom definitely needs a change . The toilets are not flushing properly. The bamboo shades and shelve are falling apart . Although clean , there is a smell coming out of the toilet . While they did improvements to the outdoor area of the resort , they seems to have left the rooms behind or for later . One important thing to note , the water coming out of the faucet and shower is salty . Had to use mineral water to brush teeth . Back in Manila , taking a shower was the first thing to do , Hoping the owners allot some budget to room improvements.…
My travel agency booked 1 night stay at the hotel. The room I stayed at looked tired and there were cracks on the wall. Room was basic. Bring own toiletries. Not suitable for anyone with weak knees - many stairs up and down to get to the parking lot, dining area and dive center. The area may be good for diving but the snorkeling was bad. The coral reef in front of the hotel is dead. Disappointing snorkeling experience. Meals provided by the hotel were adequate but not tasty.
I was there on an arranged dive trip by the locals in Malaysia to Planet Dive. As expected its a long drive from the airport to the villa. I didn't expect that a lot of steps to take to the villas. The villas room are equipped with your necessity except your own essentials needs for cleaning and personal used. They do have make up rooms. I must say it was pretty comfortable to me. The kitchen for me was great. I enjoyed it a lot as I didn't expect the variety of the serving that comes with diff juices almost everyday. I enjoyed the pinoy food as it was not strange for me. You get the best sunset here...absolute sunset ! Diving spots in Anilao will not fails you, there are so much to find and those who are not with cameras are advisable to bring a magnifying glass. You'll find a lot of macros there and that would impressed you ! Diving equipment was ok, but not fantastic, if you are not comfortable with it, perhaps rent from your own local dive providers. I am usually trying to get used to the equipment provided by the dive center. I don't think they would want anything to happen to you as well right ? I do not want to own it hence I chose to trust the equipment. Check it thoroughly during your check out dive so you can request to replace after that. I believe it is all about skills. RESPECT THE RULES ! We ran out of water one of the day, please use the water wisely !…
Very friendly and helpful resort staff & dive centre staff, provided lots of services which more than my expectations. Nice and quiet location with beautiful views. Although there were only basic facilities, we felt relax and safe to stay in the resort. The room was clean, with towels changed everyday. The sunbath area was great. Food was buffet style. We like the homemade apple pie as our dessert after dinner. The weather was fine for the whole week (early March). The professional DM took us to many different dive sites. We could see lots of marine life in each dive, and even for the shore dives.
