This is our third time in planet dive . We like this dive resort because the staff are very friendly , nice view and the resort was once well maintained . On our recent trip , we stayed like always in brown room 1& 2 . The rooms look tired , and needs improvement . The bathroom definitely needs a change . The toilets are not flushing properly. The bamboo shades and shelve are falling apart . Although clean , there is a smell coming out of the toilet . While they did improvements to the outdoor area of the resort , they seems to have left the rooms behind or for later . One important thing to note , the water coming out of the faucet and shower is salty . Had to use mineral water to brush teeth . Back in Manila , taking a shower was the first thing to do , Hoping the owners allot some budget to room improvements.…

My travel agency booked 1 night stay at the hotel. The room I stayed at looked tired and there were cracks on the wall. Room was basic. Bring own toiletries. Not suitable for anyone with weak knees - many stairs up and down to get to the parking lot, dining area and dive center. The area may be good for diving but the snorkeling was bad. The coral reef in front of the hotel is dead. Disappointing snorkeling experience. Meals provided by the hotel were adequate but not tasty.

I was there on an arranged dive trip by the locals in Malaysia to Planet Dive. As expected its a long drive from the airport to the villa. I didn't expect that a lot of steps to take to the villas. The villas room are equipped with your necessity except your own essentials needs for cleaning and personal used. They do have make up rooms. I must say it was pretty comfortable to me. The kitchen for me was great. I enjoyed it a lot as I didn't expect the variety of the serving that comes with diff juices almost everyday. I enjoyed the pinoy food as it was not strange for me. You get the best sunset here...absolute sunset ! Diving spots in Anilao will not fails you, there are so much to find and those who are not with cameras are advisable to bring a magnifying glass. You'll find a lot of macros there and that would impressed you ! Diving equipment was ok, but not fantastic, if you are not comfortable with it, perhaps rent from your own local dive providers. I am usually trying to get used to the equipment provided by the dive center. I don't think they would want anything to happen to you as well right ? I do not want to own it hence I chose to trust the equipment. Check it thoroughly during your check out dive so you can request to replace after that. I believe it is all about skills. RESPECT THE RULES ! We ran out of water one of the day, please use the water wisely !…

Very friendly and helpful resort staff & dive centre staff, provided lots of services which more than my expectations. Nice and quiet location with beautiful views. Although there were only basic facilities, we felt relax and safe to stay in the resort. The room was clean, with towels changed everyday. The sunbath area was great. Food was buffet style. We like the homemade apple pie as our dessert after dinner. The weather was fine for the whole week (early March). The professional DM took us to many different dive sites. We could see lots of marine life in each dive, and even for the shore dives.

Near the end of the windy coastal road past many similar small resorts with 10 or less rooms is this great place on a cliff side with direct shore access to incredible house corals less than 20 meters away. It’s four hours from QC. We stayed in the cheapest room, Brown 2, and it was just lovely. Three beds, sweet view of the ocean, no balcony, quality bathroom. $50/night USD after taxes and tips. Gear is $2-5 USD to rent for 24 hours, and we tried the intro scuba for P2000 for a 30 min dive to 12 meters. There is no beach, a very rocky shoreline. This place has a nice pool and great decks w furniture. I could spend a week here relaxing and swimming. Sunsets were incredible.

Well run dive operation with a professional dive master and two helpful boat boys, who added to the enjoyment. Bianca boat was large and had a useable ladder. Comfortable rooms with spacious bathroom. Excellent food and plenty of it. Friendly pleasant staff.

We came to this place becouse our friends suggested it as a good and peaceful place even for one day trip. The first time when we visited the place was nice, clean, and with the reasonable price. However at this time we got a quite disappointed 😞 - the shore was so dirty, the price is in double, and the food not so nice... would not recomend to anyone the resort. Around there are much better places for better price and with much more facilities, like Eagle Point for instance. The stuff is friendly, but a bit lazy. However the sea 🌊 is great there.

This is an excellent place to go local dive spots around Anilao. It is about 3 to 3 1/2 hours from Manila. Most of the time is from the traffic after you get off the Star Highway and then travel through to get to the resort. Traffic can be quite slow so travel early in the morning to get there if you want to reduce the travel time. It was has some room available that are of decent quality and two bunk rooms with six beds. Those are basic but decent for a weekend. If you are diving, expect to pay around 1000-1500 pesos per dive including rental of gear. If you go to dive spots far from Planet Dive that may increase your costs slightly. A large group of six divers will see prices in the lower range I mentioned. If you are not a diver, it is a mediocre place to stay but still worth a weekend trip but there are nicer (and more expensive) local alternatives available. …

I stayed here with my friend for an overnight weekend. We just wanted to chill and maybe snorkel. The price was right, so we booked this place. However, unlike another nearby resort which I normally frequent, the price does not include the snorkel package. You have to rent your own booties, fins, masks and snorkels, amounting to around 400-500 pesos per day. The food was decent. The rooms looks deceivingly clean. We snorkeled on Saturday and the area was teeming with jellyfish. We decided that the stings weren't worth it since the "protected sanctuary" in front of the resort frankly sucks. The corals were dead, dying or destroyed. Sea urchins were everywhere. We did enjoy lounging on the pretty deck. I did not dive because the quoted price was 5000 pesos, not including gear rental. And to think I am certified diver. The next day I woke up to a line of bites on my thigh. I thought they were from my close encounter with jellyfish the previous day. They looked different from stings, but I didn't really spend that much thought on them. Throughout the day, I discovered more and more "stings" throughout my arms and thighs. Come Monday morning, I realized that they were bed bug bites when I discovered more itchy red bumps on my belly, back, and neck. I am allergic to them, and so the level of itch is insane. I texted the resort and the only reply I got was a sorry. Not only do I have to suffer through this crazy itch, I look like a walking billboard for bed bugs as well. Then I have to spend extra time and money to schedule pest control to help me kill the eggs that could have gotten into my bags and clothes during my stay at the resort.…
