This is a very pleasant boutique hotel with very friendly staff and all the amenities you would need to have a pleasant stay. We want to go back! The food was good and the drinks as well. We were not so lucky with the weather but when the sun shines, the water is turquoise in colour and beautiful. A very comfortable room (Amina) and nice balcony. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought it was super relaxing. More places should be like this!

This resort did not come cheap thats why we had high expectations when we booked for 3d/2n. Arriving there, we were somewhat disappointed. 1st, the parking was tight. Although there was valet service the area itself was too narrow for cars to park in. 2nd, the resort wasnt as impressive as depicted in the pictures— and so were the rooms. They were small and cramped. The bath had a leak and the shower knobs were both marked “cold”. Thus, confusing the user. Also, The usual complimentary items like tea were absent. The bed were comfortable though. As to the food it was bland. We expected more but it just tasted flat. The menu was limited too. Hardly anything tasty to chose from. 3rd, the pool was dirty with leaves and small branches. You can feel the dirt under your feet. As to the beach, it was ok. All in all, our visit was “ordinary”. We could get much better for the price we paid. Will we return? Most likely not.

Even in the middle of a pandemic, our family had a much-needed, fun and relaxing get-away vacation. Our family (my husband, our five children and myself) stayed at Vivere Azure Resort for three days in mid-June 2021. Just like everyone, we were all feeling cooped up with all the COVID restrictions. Our two children who are below 18 years old have hardly left the house in 15 months. So we decided to take a short-but-sweet break to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Vivere Azure is a perfect vacation spot – amazing views, relaxing ambience, friendly and efficient staff, and even the travel time is not too long (2 hours away from our house). PRICELESS VIEWS OF THE OCEAN : We stayed in the two Grand Premiere Ocean View Suites : Zephyr and Ultima. Our rooms had priceless views of the beach and the sea. I would just sit and watch the view all the time! HEALTH AND SAFETY : While we were at Vivere Azure, we felt completely safe. Health precautions were followed strictly. Upon arrival, we needed to present “Negative” results of antigen swab test for all the seven members of our family. The staff were all wearing masks properly. In fact, all the resort guests also had to wear masks while outside their rooms. SERVICE : The service at Vivere Azure was exceptional! I was ably assisted by Girlie (the Reservations Officer) when I was booking our stay. She patiently answered all my questions. Julius, one of the resort staff, waited on us for all our meals, further making us feel safe (since our exposure, even to the resort staff, was limited). Julius was the perfect mix of being pleasant and friendly, helpful while being unobtrusive. He was our go-to person when we wanted to ask “what is that island over there”, “what time does the pool open and close”, or any other questions we had. The other staffers – Erwin, Lance and Angelo – were also very accommodating and helpful. One time, I asked for Advil (since one of my family members had back pain and Paracetamol was not helping). The resort did not have it on hand, but sent one of their staff to the nearest drugstore to buy it. These little touches of service helped us appreciate Vivere Azure staff even more. THE FOOD : The food at Vivere Azure was so delicious! After each meal, I would always say, “I ate too much!” Vivere Azure also prepared a Birthday cake (chocolate mousse), complete with a sign and candles, for our daughter, who celebrated her birthday while we were there. I mentioned this to Girlie when I was booking the rooms, and she made sure this was noted by the resort staff. THINGS TO DO : There are many things to do at Vivere Azure : you can kayak, snorkel, swim at the beach or swim at the gorgeous infinity pool (complete with a to-die-for view!). Or you can simply just CHILLAX – which is what our family did! We all slept long and soundly, with the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep and waking us up totally rested. One of our sons even said that it was the longest and most relaxing sleep he has had since the beginning of the pandemic. Oh, and did I say that the wifi was good too!

Due to pandemic restrictions and since we went on a weekday, there weren't many people in the resort. It was very peaceful and serene. On Rooms and Amenities: The rooms (including the CR) were massive, and were much nicer than I had expected. The aircons were cool and the internet in the room was fast (for those who need to do some remote work). They have an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean, so it makes for great views. Since the resort is pretty big and has multiple levels, it might not be recommended if you're traveling with seniors or those with disabilities since there is alot of walking and going up and down the stairs. (Ex: The infinity pool is at the top where the reception is, but you have to walk flights of stairs down to get to the beach and dining area.) If traveling with seniors/PWD, I would recommend asking the resort if you could book a room somewhere that would make amenities more accessible. Service: Excellent. 24/7 Front Desk (I literally called at 4am, and they picked up). Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Food: Not much choice for food when we went since they only served ala Carte due to pandemic restrictions. Nonetheless, the food was great! Conclusion: Great place for families. Excellent service. Pricey, but worth it! Verdict: 5/5

I am so glad the food was superb else I would feel it was a rip off. Rate was pricey but the interiors in the pictures looked so good that we went for it. The room didn't disappoint. We loved how the common areas didn't have any rails to obstruct the view of the sea, instead there were platforms a level lower in front for safety. The a la cart meals that was included in the rate was so good it made me feel I'm eating at a 5 star restaurant. Cocktails were well made as well. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I though from the pictures the property would be spacious, but you could see the adjacent resorts, it felt a little cramped. The beach was rocky. We couldn't go snorkeling due to the weather. I'd like to come back during the summer to enjoy the ocean wildlife.

Room Tip: We chose Elixir since it's beachfront and bigger than a similar room Escape.
