For a classy restful getaway that is drivable from Manila, try Vivere Azure. The property is beautiful, the decor tasteful, the service friendly and attentive, and the food very good. It is "all-inclusive," but not completely. Anything beyond the soup, entree, and dessert is charged. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, wooden rafts, and water shoes are included, but there is a charge for island hopping tours. The ocean views are spectacular, and the water clear and warm, but the beach is small and rocky. The property is on a hillside with a lot of stairs and uneven terrain, so definitely not handicap accessible and would be difficult for the elderly. We were in the Escape quarters and all slept so well with the sound of the ocean, comfortable bed, and perfect room temperature, but the bathrooms are rather small. It's a bit pricey, but we plan to try one of the (more expensive) villas next time.

We've been to Anilao several times and this is the best resort we've been to. The room rate is quite pricey compared to other resorts in the area but with the spacious room, excellent service, and superb facilities, I think it is worth every penny. We super love our room and the privacy. The food serving is HUGE and there's enough variety to choose from -- and it's delicious. I was also surprised at how accommodating and friendly the staff are. The beachfront as expected is rocky. We snorkeled and saw some colorful fish just a few meters away from the shore. Can't wait to be back!

We have been to Anilao 4 times and this resort tops them all. It is not the Ritz, but for Anilao, a dive destination, it is lovely. The rooms are quite quaint. There isn't an adequate facility for putting away clothes, but the shelves do work. The bathroom is quite small, but the bedroom/living quarters are large. The view is spectacular. The air conditioner works!!! The staff is amazing. They would do anything to make the stay perfect. The manager even obtained my husband's eye drops which he'd forgotten. Thankfully, he had the prescription on his phone so it could be filled without seeing a doctor there. He also took care of mailing my post cards. The chef tries to fulfill all requests, within reason, for food. He made many soups we did ask for. It is an all inclusive, but the food is more than sufficient. We are divers and the shop isn't open because of covid. There is however a facility that can be used. The young man running it was so very accommodating. We had water, towels and showers to rinse the salt away. It is costly for the city, but balancing out the food cost and care it is worth the money for the stay.

We loved the spacious rooms, It was perfect for a family of 4! Not too crowded and the staff was super friendly. We will be back for a more extended stay next time. Convenience to pre-order food was really a big deal for us, food was served hot and fresh. It had a homely feel so you would want to stay longer. The views are spectacular! It was surely built to impress guests as the rooms and the design definitely are one of a kind.

I must say this is the most excellent resort Ive been to in Batangas. The place was so relaxing. Our rooms were impeccably clean and elegant with surreal ocean view so beautiful. Very helpful and polite staff and very delicious food! Sulit na sulit ang binayad namin and I'll definitely visit Azure again!

We loved our villa Casa Antonina. Very nice and clean interior. We especially liked the veranda and the view it offers and the ambiance of the resort. We also learned that even when the strict restrictions were lifted, they still maintain a number of open villas and keep some closed to ensure that there will be not much of guests and make the guests feel safer. Very relaxing and definitely not crowded. Friendly staff and good food. It's just not highly recommended for seniors or toddlers because of the steps since the place is built downwards. Nevertheless, we are already planning our return. :)

I super love the interior and architural design, the place is well maintained and clean, the staff are very accommodating, nice and the service is fast. The food tastes really great. There are many corals to see close by if you wish to do activities. The room is complete with a nespresso machine. Over all I would reccommend for people to stay here solo, even with friends and family! I would definitely come back :)

My son, our helper, and I stayed at the Escape suite and then at Casa Antonina. While the Escape suite is comfortable and right in front of the beach, I highly recommend booking Casa Antonina. (Room photos are of Casa Antonina.) Really spacious, with high ceilings and awesome views. The menu selection is pretty good (pastas, sandwiches, meat; silogs, omelets, etc for breakfast) and the full-board meals come with soup and dessert. My son especially liked the pesto pasta and the fish and chips. I thought our helper wouldn’t like the beach since it’s pebbly and she grew up on an island with white-sand beaches, but she loved how clear the water was and enjoyed snorkeling. :) we heard other guests spotted a turtle! Service was fantastic—all our interactions with the staff were pleasant. Love the little touches, like the aqua shoes that guests can use for free and the raft in the middle of the sea. And though the place might be great for unplugging, the wifi is good, even in the rooms. It’s a little pricey but I would definitely go back!

Pricey (at least for us) but worth every penny. Spacious rooms facing the beautiful sea. Excellent food and on point staff made our stay a great one. We are already making plans for our next visit. Travel time is just 2 hours away from Manila. Beach is rocky but the water is perfect for snorkeling and diving. Get the villa room and you have the best view of the water and the sunset.
