Friendly staff, pet friendly resort, nice that its not crowded with lots of open air spaces. Mostly filipino food on the menu. Only issue we had was the shower's water heater in our room wasn't working which we brought to the management's attention.

Stayed 2 nights by myself for some much needed relaxation.

Bentrina is a very quiet, private and exclusive resort. Large rooms, sparkling clean, fast Internet & friendly attentive staff.

Has a good fresh water pool and I fitted in a couple of dives on house reef teaming with fish.

Nice bar and outside area to relax under the mango trees and a good variety of tasty food from the resort cooks

Lovely 6 bedroom resort, with huge rooms, great staff and service - goy to be one of the best places and value for money in Mabini

Good deep infinity pool for scuba training and testing equipment.

Well equipped bar to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Very professional dive master, and fantastic scuba diving

Terrible place, do not go there.

Non existent facilities, no hot water, almost no electricity. It’s in the middle of a neighborhood and stil not clear how it can be defined a resort. For the same price and less you will find many other places, stay far from this one.

Spent a couple of days in Mabini during a business trip to try a dive on the reef and stayed at Bentrina. Good rooms with reasonable WiFi. Nice pool that was used to get familiar with the gear and then a fascinating dive on the coral reef. Food was good and the staff friendly.

Currently May 2018 this resort is a diamond in the rough as they are adding 3 rooms and a dive center with an enclosed restaurant planned in he future, The existing rooms are spacious, clean and comfy with great air conditioning and good internet. But what stands out above all is the actual friendship my Filipina fiancee and I made with Manager Patrick and Chef Paul. In essence they MADE our visit so we will return. their commitment to good service is second to none. I got my dive certification and the sea life and coral was beautiful. i look forward to a future friendship sharing a few points with owner Martin. Oh, and awesome sunsets and afternoon breezes. Great spot for a QUIET getaway.

Totally disappointed 5k a night must be joking on the standard they delivered and just a room. Not a resort it’s a building site. No facilities whatsoever.
➖ Food, breakfast is terrible, construction noise which starts early as 7am knowing that there is a guests. Staff that has no basic knowledge. Totally Overpriced in the sense that they are in soft opening. They gave us 250pesos discount for what..?. Charged us the grilled Tilapia w/rice for 500P each. 2 snorkel 600P fora day which we used for an hour. You have to order your drinks in advance or died of thirst in a warm day, not unless your willing to wait for a cold beer for 30 mins which they said they will get it from their storage (store). We booked 2 rooms with our friends 1st time in Mabini and he’s surprised with the international price they have.

➕ Location. Great spot for sunset and good to snorkel just in front of the property. Room is clean.

Do yourself a favor and find a better place in airbnb. While I admit that the room itself lives up to what they have advertised in booking.com, that's pretty much it. I wouldn't call this a resort as there are almost no amenities and some pretty dicey looking environment. Just buying a coke takes like 20 minutes.
While we were there, there was some construction going on. I understand that there is much to be improved, but I would say just be more truthful in advertising and say that this resort is just pretty much rooms for sleeping and for coordinating your diving.
P.S. would have felt better if the price was less - would have felt it was more value for money
