Seascape resort is something like a bad joke: the room is smaller than a hotel room in Bangkok or Hong Kong, the staff is uninterested and lazy (except for 2 or so sweet people like the breakfast lady in the restaurant), while I was there for 3 days (paid for 4 but left early) my room was not cleaned once and neither was my towel changed. The restaurant is horrible (even the rice was not fresh) and unhygienic (got diarrhea). Icing on the cake is the location: perched on a mountain top and literally away from everything. If you don't have transport, you are a prisoner of the tragic and lazy management. I was more than happy to leave this place.

Arrived at 9pm. No one at reception area when we arrived. Security guard had to contact them to open up the reception area which is a hut separated from the buildings. We had to stand in the rain as there wasn’t a sheltered area. Other than collecting cash payment from us and showing us to the room. Nothing else was said to us. When I went back to the reception hut 10 mins later, it was locked and empty again. No one answered the phone when I tried calling. Tiny room and bathroom had no windows. No phone directory and resort guide in the room. We didn’t know when the restaurant was and it was dark and raining. The resort consists of several buildings and there is no shelter connecting them. No umbrellas are provided in the rooms. TV was not working in the room. No bottled water was provided in the room. Thankfully the kettle was working but it won’t stop boiling until we took it off the stand. Found out I’m the morning, the seaview room consisted of half carpark view and if you are not in for a workout, do note there’s lot of steps. Not suitable for children.

This quirky resort has a lot of potential but just doesn't cut it. The rooms are clean and comfortable although a bit dated. The food is very good! Especially breakfast. The staff are very friendly but need training!!!! There doesn't seem to be any structure or leadership. Some examples of what went wrong... 1. Prior to arriving we sent 3 emails with no response. We got the ferry from Caticlan to Batangas and wanted advice on how to get to the resort and what price we should expect to pay. No help! 2. We arrived at 10.05pm after a long day travelling and were greeted by darkness. The whole place seemed to be deserted and it took us a while to find assistance and get checked in. There was no information given to us unless we asked (about breakfast etc) the restaurant was closed and there is NOTHING in the area at all so we went hungry that night. 3. We had booked a family room, 2 double beds with ensuite. It was at the top of a massive hill, so taking all our luggage in the dark on stepping stones was difficult but the security guard helped. The door frame has been made at about 5ft so only okay for short people, you have to duck every time you enter the room. The bathroom was full of insects and past it's best with a magnetic door. Very noisy to open and close meaning everyone wakes up in the room from the banging. No towels, water etc. We had to request this. Also the wifi didn't work in this room, as it was too far from the router. The next day we asked to change rooms and were given a much nicer suite with no problem. 4. The restaurant! The food is actually very good and reasonably priced but the service needs some work. The staff are friendly but really don't know what they are doing. You have to wait a long time to get attention and it's all slow. The first night we ordered 3 dishes. After 20 minutes, 2 dishes came out but we were told the 3rd dish wasn't available. Ordered another which eventually came out but we should've been informed straight away so 1 person ate alone. The second night the service again was slow and we were assured they had in stock what we ordered. Only to be told 5 minutes later they are out. Ordered 'fish and chips' but only fish came out... waited a while and queried this, got confused looks then 10 minutes later a separate plate of French fries. Not really how you expect it to be served. Overall food very good but staff need guidance. 5. The pool is very nice! Large, clean and has a slide but only 5 sunbeds... 6. It's up a very steep hill in the middle of nowhere. We don't mind this but would expect some kind of entertainment as it's not easy to get around from the position of the resort. Nothing going on at all and everyone seems to be in bed by 9pm. 7. Make sure you bring cash as there's no option to pay by card and no ATM nearby. You have to head into the city to get cash. 8. It's a work in progress, there's building work going on from 7am so don't expect to sleep in late. Overall we wouldn't choose to stay here again but it wasn't an unpleasant experience. As I mentioned, the staff are very friendly and they are really trying their best. Thank you for all the smiles 😁

Stayed here for 2 days due to an event in Bauan. The room is small but it has everything you need for a short term stay (Cable TV, wifi, heater, free tea and coffee, free water, fridge, nicely packaged toilet amenities). Room designs are unique also, they tried to incorporate different countries, but really as long as you’re okay staying in a small, boxy room, it’s great. Pool looks nice though we didn’t have time for a swim. Spacious outside so might be good for team buildings or barkada outings. I especially commend the staff for good and speedy service they provided us during our meals, which was decent, typical Filipino fare nothing fancy so could be priced a little cheaper. Room - 4 Food - 3.5 Service - 5

Firstly, i am not sure what brought you to Mabini but it was my worst experience in Philipins. The hotel is nice, and the equipments are great (swimming pool, pool table...). However the staff are not very aware of the hotel surrounding so not very helpful when trying to find good places. Furthermore we almost need to beg to get lunch dinner and other basic stuff. and finally they overcharge the transfer to the airport as they knew we had no other choice. So i will not recommend this resort or this place tbh

Beautiful View of the Ocean from the room and the food of the resort is amazing. We had the Pork Belly, Adobo and the Butter shrimps. Would definitely want to go back again just to rewind and relax from the city life.

It's long weekend after the government declared Friday a non-working holiday. We suddenly thought of going out of town for at least an overnight stay in a swimming pool resort. We browsed our favorite online booking portal and found this newly listed resort in Bauan Batangas, close to Taal town which is known for its many Ancestral houses of known personalities in the Philippine history. So its Heritage sites are great for photo taking which is one in my bucket list. My family loves swimming and this resort gave us great fun times bonding together. The pool is clean and well maintained. The hotel room is basic but its has enough amenities like that of a hotel, from TV, Ref and toiletries. The cleanliness of room is good also. The staff are friendly and trying their best to make your stay comfortable. They don't offer buffet breakfast but they can prepare you just advise them in advance. The resort may already been operating for years so some fixtures in the public areas look old and rusting that may need maintenance, like fittings in common shower areas and toilets. Parking is available but its not easy to drive-in as you have to manage getting the attention of the guard, that is mostly staying at the main gate than in the parking gate. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the place and we found this perfect for big and small families or group of friends that wants some bonding activities.
