Fabulous diving resort, rooms large, clean and quiet food is first class! Now the location has some of the most beautiful sunsets as the resort is west facing. Please note that access is via boat from a ramp five minutes down the coast from the resort which makes for a great isolated feel! It was a relaxing stay and great diving on offer highly recommend!

We stayed in Bauan Divers Sanctuary for 3 nights to get our PADI license but the trip has been much more than just the certification, the location is beautiful and secluded from any big town, its a small paradise. Since our arrival all the staff has been so kind and attentive. They cooked delicious Phillipino food for us everyday with snacks in between our dives. Our dive guide Edgar was patient and fun, he let us dive at the time that best suited us and we saw so many fish and corals just diving around our hotel basically we saw all the Finding Nemo crew and multiple times! By the end of the trip Edgar became our close friend and we will definitelt stay in touch. I never write reviews but this place really deserved it! 5 stars for this Sanctuary!!!

My partner, friends and I are all regular divers and have frequented many resorts both in the Philippines and other parts of the world. This resort looked promising because of its location and its facilities. Sadly, this was one of the most unsafe resorts (for diving) that I have stayed in. First off, the boats they use for pick up of passengers and for diving are poorly maintained. Our 2nd dive of the day could have resulted in a major accident as the waves were quite sizeable and when we were picked up after our dive; in close proximity to Pinnacle Rock the boat’s engine would NOT start. If there had been a current or stronger wind we would have all wound up crashing on the rocks. The boats are old and most be replaced. The resort itself although quiet was not cleaned very well and with a lot of “lounge chairs” that were either broken, covered in dirt or bird excrement. I do hope the owners or management do more to make this resort safer and a real “sanctuary” as they have called it. We will not be returning and will not be recommending this resort to any of the diving community until major changes / improvements have occurred.

Parking is big. VERY spacious room. Buffet food are very delicious, hat's off to the chef. Very accommodating staff, and you are well taken care of. Just in front and side of the resort are already snorkeling worthy, saw a turtle already!

Been going to this place since 2014 and it keeps getting better! Rare in the Philippines but I'm not complaining. Food is good, rooms are superb, service in the kitchen is very good. But the dive service can be further improved (boat scheduling, towels, & tidiness of the dive area). Overall, a good value for money and a diver's weekend refuge from the weekday pollution of Metro Manila.

As a diver, I have stayed at Bauan Divers Sanctuary on several occasions and am always happy to come back. The staff are by far the warmest and most welcoming of all the resorts I stay with in the area. Kudos to all of them. A short boat hop from the parking area, very secure by the way so no worries for the car, gives one the feeling of really escaping. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. The restaurant offers spectacular views and the diving is world class. The cost is per person and includes meals and unlimited shore dives and even a boat dive a day so the bang for the buck as a diver is good. If you are not diving, the resort is pleasant and offers nice lounging and snorkelling but I am not convinced the cost would be as favourable so double check if there is a discount for non-divers. In all Bauan Divers Sanctuary is one of my favourites locally and not to be missed.

A very pleasant resort wit friendly, helpful staff. Room comfortable, clean, though bathroom a little tight. Good boatmen. Limited, though colourful dive sites. Our small group was fortunate to encounter a juvenile whale at one of the sites near Ligpo Island! Amazing! Meals are good, help yourself to tea/coffee.

Great place for divers who like to go for a few nice and easy local dives. Loads of fish and critters to be seen. The resort rooms are fantastic and staff very attentive to every need one may have. The food is delicious and plentiful. The restaurant area is really very nice, overlooking the bay. 3 points need improvement: 1- many areas are very slippery and dangerous 2- the swimming pool looks run down and needs maintenance; also, it's a pity it doesn't go deeper for some scuba exercises (deepest is 2m only) 3- the pricing for accompanying non-divers is ridiculously high and a deterrent for entire groups

Excellent place for diving, especially for beginners. The house reef has a stunning coral garden and can be accessed by shore entry. Very close to Anilao and dozens of dive sites of varying difficulty. The resort is clean, the rooms are air conditioned. There is free Wifi. The staff are almost all qualified divers themselves. The food is basic but fresh. If you are vegetarian, tell them several times ahead of time. The only access is via boat. The resort has a shore side parking area.
