Detailed Reviews
My family and I stayed at their resort for 3 days and 2 nights and all I can say is that we really enjoyed our stay. The highlights were the resort's view of the sea and the very hospitable and friendly staff. Once we arrived at their resort, they really did their best to make us feel right at home! We would like to thank Ms. Yoj, Ms. Danella, Ms. Donna, Sir Abel, Tiny (sorry if I got their name wrong!) and the other staff members (who I wasn't able to get the names) who assisted us on our concerns, orders and requests! You really feel that they truly value their guests! The resort's amenities are well maintained and I was glad that they have a kid-friendly area, although we weren't able to stay there. I really loved staying in their deck as it has a view of the sea, and it's really relaxing! As my kid told me during our stay... "I love this place!" and I agree! Thank you for having us, Destino Beach Resort! We look forward to visiting again!

Me and my wife stayed at Destino Beach Club for 3 days and 2 nights. Get the Sunset View room. It's a little pricey but you will not regret it. The view from the room is serene and so relaxing. That's why we only had room service for our food and did not eat at the restaurant. We enjoyed the food while admiring the view.
Food at Tito Rey's is good. We tried a lot of dishes and not one dish we tried disappoint.
What I like about the beach is you can snorkel a couple of minutes from shore and you'll be seeing a coral reefs and fishes already. No need to rent a boat to snorkel. We brought some fish food (ones you can buy from pet stores) and fed the fishes. Fishes were quite wild I think as they are wary to approach us even though we have food. But eventually, they warmed up and approached us to feed. We enjoyed the fish feeding. Note - Please don't feed the fishes bread. Fishes can't digest it well.
The resort manager, Yogielyn, was so helpful and friendly. She's perfect fit for the resort.
One drawback though - it is quite hard to get to the resort. My tip is to message the resort through FB messenger. They will provide you the direction to go to the resort. You'll get lost if you follow Waze.
We'll definitely be back.

Excellent view, nice and peaceful place.
Great food.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They assisted us with our requests and even with my wish to surprise my husband. I appreciate their effort in preparing our romantic sunset dinner by the beach plus extra music, flowers and yummy dessert. Kudos to them for going above and beyond their duties. They made our wedding anniversary celebration very meaningful!

Went on a Monday so only another couple aside from us. Place was quiet and there’s some additional construction in the area but not in the common places.
The pool was colder than the water on the beach. There’s a lot of shells on the beach due to the latest typhoon which threw corals on the beach. Could also be due to the artificial islands the Chinese are building which are killing the corals in the West Philippine Sea. Sad as the people said it just been happening since late last year.
Rocky and pretty shallow high tide. Water shoes are a must when snorkeling. Lots of live fishes near the grotto. Pretty wild as they don’t take kindly to feeding.
Roads going there pretty narrow for big vehicles and pretty steep hairpins. No to beginner drivers. Good cars are a must.
Food prices are decent. Free breakfast is nice. Facilities are pretty complete for an overnight stay. Staff is friendly and courteous. Well trained.
Will go back but need to be better prepared for the road going to the place from the main road.

Location: 2hours from Calamba, Laguna
Scenery & Amenities: Really instagramable!!
Staff: Accommodating, friendly and all smiles. Able also to talk to the area manager (Ma'am Yogielyn) and we're amazed how approachable and thoughtful she is. Salute!
Food: A lil' pricey but worth the price. Good job Tito Rey's!
Lucky enough to find a resort where serenity, good food & kindness were served. Sea you again!

The hotel itself was great but the place is very hard to find. We had to go through a mountain to be there and road is sooo narrow.
I cannot forget this place because they didnt tell us that the breakfast is NOT FREE. I discovered it after getting my deposit.

The memories made in this place was amazing. The view of the sunset with the gazebo dock is picturesque. The staff was nice! However, it is a dive resort. The snorkeling is something one must experience to understand it. Amenities was basic. The pool was colder in temp than the beach. The room was not what I expected specially the bathroom. Too rustic for me. Should I visit again? ! Not sure. Driving to the place is very challenging.

For our whole stay, would give this a max of 2.8 stars. Enjoyable, but would not return.
In summary, it felt like the resort was mostly window dressing; aesthetically pleasing but lacked substantial services.
This is coming from the perspective of veteran hotel-stayers who stayed to relax and not to party, so your millage may vary.
The whole place and room was aesthetically pleasing. But there were a couple of negative points: 1) WIFI did not reach our room (we booked the Sunset suite). So our TV wasn’t connected to the internet. There were limited international channels for movies. Majority of the channels were on International sports and local tv shows. We had to rely on our mobile data throughout our stay whenever we were in our room. 2) The room didn't have a phone so it was hard to get in touch with staff when we needed it. 3) Water pressure was weak and inconsistent throughout our whole stay. 4) The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Sink was dirty when we came in and so was the tubes of the shower. 4) The location of the resort is quite difficult to get to; a critical road is quite narrow and steep. So drive carefully and have a really good car. And if you're coming to this location at night, there won't be any lights for said road. 5) Some of the amenities we were hoping to use were under renovation or not available. We wanted to get the massage service at their spa, but since there were only a handful of guests during our stay, the spa was closed. The kids room (the one with games) was being renovated which we were only informed of when we arrived. 6) The room wasn’t cleaned during our whole stay. If requested, they will make your bed, but without changing the sheets and that’s it. As frequent hotel and resort stayers in different parts of the Philippines, we’ve stayed at cheaper resorts who offer FULL and DAILY housekeeping/cleaning.
Now as for some of the notable and positive points: 1) Our room was spacious and had an amazing view. As a beach front hotel, cleanliness of the beach is good; near some rocky areas and there was an area with some trash, but you can avoid all of it further down the coastline. 2) There were some standout food items, and luckily these bumped up the score this high. Some small food items could be better, but for the most part, the restaurant was highly satisfactory. 3) There were a few standout staff, namely: Jasper, Angela, Marielle, Juls, and Janine who went above-and-beyond in terms of customer service. We truly felt their kindness and hospitality.
But most of the staff we encountered did need improvements. They're not trained to think outside-of-the-box, or go above-and-beyond, when dealing with customer concerns, and they seemed capable only with transactional interactions. Note: I would chalk this up to lack of training from management rather than their personalities. Also, most of the people who interacted with us were not knowledgeable about many things about the resort itself e.g., if there are tooth brushes and tooth paste, best route out of the resort, how often rooms are cleaned, and even what's the wifi password?! We were consistently given inconsistent answers/responses from different hotel staff on basic amenities, SOPs, and issues we raised stated above. Although, admittedly, some staff did need to improve their personality. A select few staff were really not friendly and seemed purposely unhelpful. This, I would not chalk up to management, but to that individual staff's personality. As someone who made sure to address each staff by their name with a smile on my face, it was quite disappointing to be greeted with frowning faces or with no efforts to provide further assistance whenever we encountered the issues listed above.
If not for the delicious food from the restaurant and the service of 5 outstanding staff, the view of the room would have not been enough to give this resort a rate any higher than 1.
So kudos to the restaurant and to the 5 amazing staff!

Great beach resort. Awesome food and amenities. They offer affordable diving packages or BNB accomodations if you want to just chill on the beach or dip on their heated pool. Amazing beachfront view on most rooms and dining area.
We had a great time here. Buffet dining, poolside snacking, all night bar with DJ playing. Can’t wait to go back.
Look for Casty, he’ll take care of you.

Destino Beach Club is a hidden gem! We went here during a long weekend to unwind and the place didn’t disappoint. We booked a room with the beautiful view of the sea and we were tempted to just stay there for the rest of the day!
The room was clean and the service is okay. Their restaurant serves good food and drinks. I believe you can book other water activities like renting a canoe, diving, etc.
The place is perfect for couples, families, and friends who want to enjoy their weekend away from the busy Metro Manila.
