We booked our first new year weekend tat Dive and Trek to get away from our hectic Christmas and NYE activities. We were promptly picked up by our banka for a 20 min ride to the resort, and were greeted warmly by the staff. Our room was comfortable, although, I must say the hike to the third floor was a challenge for my aging knees. The food was excellent and entrees prepared for each meal completed each other - filipino style. Shout out to Florence and Arlyn and rest of the crew who were attentive to our needs and made our stay a very pleasant one.
We also did an intro dive, which was very convenient. All equipment were onsite and our dive buddies were very patient with us.
Cheers, Dive and Trek and keep up the excellent service. We will be back.

Great experience. I drove down early from Cavite, with a friend who was over from England. We got a boat over, simple registration, and then the manager even had the kitchen cook us up a fresh breakfast as we hadn’t eaten, even better, they didn’t charge us, as we wouldn’t be eating lunch the next day.
We had a nice room, not completely finished (missing a mirror), and small difficulties with the hot water, but these were fixed with a quick message to the manager.
Food was great as always, it’s a buffet style, but is served by the fantastic staff (big shout out to Mary Grace who kept us laughing over the weekend).
Diving was good, first dive was the best, we went past the classroom and to the right, so many fish, a baby turtle, a swarm of jacks, some amazing coral from the house reef, great visibility and warm water, trust that to be the dive we didn’t take the camera!
Second dive we went over to the left of the resort, where previously I knew it would have more turtle activity, a large selection of giant clams, and great fish life and coral, however, a typhoon from a couple of years back pulled large boulders over the seabed, destroying all of that, we did manage to find 1 giant clam, I hope more survived and we just missed them.
Third dive was on Sunday morning, just a relaxing coast along to the right, and back through the coral.
Overall a great time, and we managed to have a few beers Saturday evening, watching an amazing sunset.

Wonderful experience at the resort. Right from getting down from our cars and catching the ferry, the service rendered was fantastic.
The establishment is simple, homely and serene. The service assistants very friendly and genuinely concerned about their customers. Our service demands were promptly addressed and there not an instance where we didnt feel at home.
We had a great time snorkelling. Although we didnt go diving, our fellow residents who went diving had only good things to say. The snorkelling gear on rent at the resort was clean and well maintained.
The food was good as well. We had strict vegetarians amongst us and their demands were readily met and respected. There was free coffee at all times and the coffee was really good.
The rooms were clean and we had great sleep at night. The estate is well kept and ots serenity well maintained. We really felt destressed.
The dog on the estate, Waffle , was a wonderful attraction. Friendly and energetic, she livened by our stay. The manager, Ms Arlene, took extra care of our demands and sensitivities and always had a charming and calming presence. And five stars to the staff who really were very pleasant and hardworking, always looking out to make us comfortable.
All in all, a wonderful time spent at Dive n Trek. Our sincere thanks to staff and resort for having us and making our stay such a pleasant one.

We were there on Jan.10+11 2020, and can't complain about the diving or the food.
However I almost fainted when I paid our bill.
The basic rate is 5000Pesos/day for accommodation incl diving, which seems ok when you consider 3 dives a day, so you come to about 1500 Pesos/dive. However on top of this comes a divemaster fee which is just as high, so your bill doubles to about 3000 Pesos/dive. And this is just way too high!!!

Besides I have a suspicion about the beds. I have lots of bites on my body since we were there, and on spots where you normally don't get a mosquito bite. So I suspect that there were bugs in the bed!

Helpful staff, amazing reefs and wildlife. Food was good, local cuisine. The afternoon turon is amazing and a highlight after a long dive!

The rooms were sparse, but all you need. It's a 15-20 min ride by boat to get there from the parking area, but once there it's all inclusive.

Amazing place for diving and snorkelling. Short boat trip from the resort or you can just dive off the shore. Perfect for the weekend with family or corporate team building. The view from the room was breath-taking. Yummy food, freshly prepared with organic ingredients. Super friendly and accommodating stuff. Arlyn makes you feel like home. She makes sure all the guests are happy. And the golden retriever, who lives at the resort is an incredible companion for both the kids and adults. Gives the place a special touch. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you for having us!!!! We are coming back.

We just did a day trip for diving this time. Service was great, and staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The lunch was ok, but some more Western or non carb menu options would be nice.

Great for day trips. This is my 5th or 6th trip here, and each time, it's been good to get in the water and get some dives. I've stayed overnight before too and was happy with my stay - Rooms are basic and clean, beds comfortable.

Two years ago I learned to dive here. My entire family learned to dive here. This is where we took our first breaths under water. We got Open Water certified, Advanced Open Water certified, Enriched air certified. This is where we met so many of our now diver friends. This is where we became friends with the staff. Each one of them and became like family. Virtually every single month, for two years, we drove from Parañaque to Bauan, Batangas, for an enjoyable weekend of diving. We called the resort when we passed Lemery and were within 15 minutes of the parking and they would send a boat to pick us up and take us to the resort....
The many albums, with even more pictures bear witness of what now seem to be fond memories of our diving home. I can still see us relaxing in the dining area with almost everyone there. Eating junk food, cracking jokes, swapping stories, even sometimes playing the guitar and singing...
All of that seems to have now gone by and lost forever... The resort has a new manager. The prices have been raised considerably without any real improvements. The transportation service of the guests between the resort and the parking has become a nightmare now that the resort no longer has boats. There are scheduled trips during a certain part of the day. Every two hours. Miss a scheduled trip and you are either stuck at the parking, reducing the number of dives you can make or worse, making you miss a training course or at least late, not to mention the unnecessary stress instead of a relaxed and enjoyable weekend of diving. In the evening you may get stuck at the resort, not knowing when you can leave. It has happened and is happening.
So after two years of recommending this place after every monthly visit, sad, frustrated and angry, we'll look for another enjoyable place for us, our family and friends. Maybe Portolano or BDS. Maybe we'll move to Anilao. We will miss the staff we may not see again... Dive an Trek has made some changes... unfortunately it's not for the better... :-(

This is a good diving area but it is very difficult , character building and time consuming to reach it by public transport. Boat transfer is needed to get there from Aniloa Pier and it took 4+ hours from Manila. The isolated resort is only suitable for dedicated PADI qualified divers - there is nothing else there in a rocky cove.

The diving is good , but after being quoted exact prices for the day's diving, they tried to charge more than twice the price quoted. After a long argument, this was reduced to 25% more. They basically add all sorts of charges on for boat transfers, boat hire for dives and charge a huge amount for unqualified divers.

There are equally good dive places in the area that are much easier to get to and have more completion, so much keener prices such as Puerto Galera. My advice is to avoid this place.
