We recently stayed here in our van on a powered site and would highly recommend this park. Friendly owner and clean amenities. Fire pit and woodfired pizza oven were a bonus. We will definitely be returning.

We recently stayed here during the Gin and Jazz Festival. It's a wonderful small caravan park run by lovely managers who were very helpful and always up for a chat. The amenities were always kept clean and the camp kitchen is awesome, it has everything you need, there is also a wood fired pizza oven and a great fire pit which we used every night we were there. There is a great Brewery less than a minute away and you are not far from many many wineries. I would return to this caravan park again.

Finding an independently owned caravan park these days is rare, wine country tourist park, is just that, with a small boutique feel, it’s not over crowded and you feel safe knowing management is on site 24/7, I stayed here during a concert weekend and experienced no issues, all the other guests were extremely respectful of each other, which made our stay very enjoyable, the staff and management were very helpful and accommodating to our every need, I highly recommend this park. The amenities were clean, camp kitchen packed full of utensils and cooking appliances, there’s even a wood fired pizza oven and fire pit for use in the cooler months, laying back on the pool side lounge looking up at the palm trees and clear blue sky you forget you’re even in wine country. Wine country Tourist park is now our regular go too when ever we are in the Hunter valley.

The facilities were perfectly acceptable and the location is great for a cheap stay with access to the Hunter Valley vineyards, and we would have been very happy to stay here. Unfortunately, when drunk, the manager and his friends seemed to be in the mood for picking a fight with someone and they decided to repeatedly call my husband a woman and ask if he was gay - these comments seemed to be made with an emphasis on the point that these men considered “woman” and “gay” to be pretty big insults. Our group was told to pack up and leave which we did quickly as things were getting rather threatening. Management DID refund our fees, however as it was Friday evening on a long weekend we were unable to find other accommodation in the area, had to cancel our tour bookings at the last minute and we were not refunded for those. I don’t like to leave negative reviews as there are always two sides to every story, however regardless of your perspective from a particular event - homophobia and misogyny are not acceptable in tourism.
