Overall, our two nights stay was very relaxing and everybody (we were a group of 13) enjoyed. Rooms were clean, and toiletries amenities were plentiful and refilled as needed. Bed and beddings were excellent as well. If you need drinking glasses, you just have to ask from reception and it will be provided. Food from the restaurant was good and price was ok for their serving size. You have options to have food delivered or you can go out and eat at Gerry's grill or Shakey's which is just 10-15 minutes drive. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The areas outside are all kept clean. The mango tree had sweet bearing indian mangoes!!!

The only thing that bothered me/us big time was, the price quoted on our email was different from the price we had to pay on arrival. And we felt that during our check-in, they were making us feel guilty that the difference on the price will be paid by the staff who made the mistake. We had received two emails confirming the price and on top of that, a call was made first to make inquiries in which, our queries was answered by email. And upon reading some of the reviews here in trip advisor, it seems it has happened before to one of their guests as well. So that makes me wonder if this just an honest mistake or something else? Who knows, if it has happened to others, but they just didn't make a review??? I hope management makes their pricing clear and in black and white so as to avoid confusion.

My mom, her caregiver, my daughter and I stayed in the 3-bedroom villa for two nights. The unit was well equipped, spacious, and air conditioned.

My mom has mobility issues so she stayed in the downstairs room with her caregiver. It had 2 double beds and was more than enough space. My daughter took the upstairs bedroom with 2 double beds (we put the luggage on the extra bed). I took the upstairs room with the single bed room.

The second floor had a nice balcony with a water view - nice place to sip our morning coffee! There were full baths with showers on both floors and a small refrigerator on the first floor.

The full service restaurant served breakfast included with the room rate. The menu had a decent selection of options for all three meals. My only critique is that there was no fruit offering.

The pool was large. I was able to get a good workout doing laps. The beach was a bit littered with vegetation and trash brought in by the surf. Nonetheless the walk along the beach was pleasant in the morning with gorgeous views of the sunrise.

In sum it was an enjoyable stay with kudos going to the excellent service.

We are a family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The place is nice, cozy, quiet and not crowded, room was clean, well maintain with excellent accommodating service, staff were very courteous and attentive to any request, safe for kids swimming since shoreline is long, swimming pool is clean with lifeguard watching, and spotted coast guard patrolling once in a while. Food is good for 2-3 pax/serving with moderate prices. Suggestion, better to also have veranda in the ground floor rooms. We will come back and highly recommendable.

Stayed there over the weekend and we were not disappointed. 5 star rating to their staff since we arrived until we check out. Food is also better and cheaper. Only feedback will be the room. It is spacious and all necessities are there. Hope they just add more warm lights and change the design of the wallpaper. The rest are the best. Thank you for the hospitality. See u again

Nice resort. Clean and spacious rooms. The pool is not that big but really nice and clean. The restaurant is really cozy and the food is nice. We've been in Aureo and Kahuna and Lafaayette is just as nice.

Our group of 18, all seniors and mostly vacationing balikbayans, stayed in this resort for a mini-reunion of our high school group. Without doubt, this resort may be one of the best, if not the best, in the rows of resorts in Bauang, La Union. The resort is new, having opened only six month ago. Facilities are very clean including its two infinity pools. We were very happy that we did not have problems with mosquitos in the resort. The beach front is rather small, but you can walk along the coast which we enjoyed the next morning given the opportunity to buy some fresh seafood from local fishermen and having them cooked by the resort’s chef for a minimal fee.

Rooms in the resort are mostly found in two-story villas which are adjacent to each other. Each villa has three big rooms (one located at the ground floor and two at the second floor), one T&B in each floor but located outside the rooms, a small sala with a sofa and a flat TV; and a kitchen with a big refrigerator and a dining set for six. All rooms are clean and have either two queen beds or one king bed. Room amenities include a flat TV, bath robes, room safe. Toilets are provided with clean towels and standard toiletries (toothbrush, soap, bath get, cotton buds, body lotion) and the kitchen with free bottles of water (which were generously refilled upon request), free coffee/tea, sugar and cream.

Our group finds the resort very pricey (one villa costing 25K pesos or US$500 per night) but worth it. Generally, service in the whole resort was efficient, courteous and friendly. The complimentary breakfast which comes with the room was good. Our group tried the buffet dinner by the beach which turned out to be very good. It came with a free drink (beer or juice) and an array of Filipino grills and dishes including soup, tilapia fish, squid, chicken, pork, shrimp, vegetables and water melon as dessert. Dinner buffet is priced at 500 pesos (US$10) and paid as you enter the beach dining area.

As expected of a newly opened resort, there were some “birth pains” that we experience which we brought to the attention of management. In particular, we experienced water interruption in one evening because one of its water tank got emptied due to a malfunctioning float bulb. The problem was resolved within minutes.

Here are some practical tips for those considering using this resort in the coming days:

1. Come early so that you can get a good parking slot. The parking area of the resort is very small, and the motor bikes and equipment of the resort are occupying part of it.
2. Ask for a room or villa away from the kitchen. One of the villas occupied by our group was smelly inside because its windows were not closed.
3. Note that check-in time of the resort is 2pm. If you come early you need to wait or be charged extra for early check-in. A couple from our group who travelled all the way from the US went straight to the resort early morning and was charged for their early check-in despite the resort being “empty” that day.
4. Resort does not allow food and drink from outside into the restaurant and public areas of the resort. Food and drink that you bring can, however, be consumed within the confines of your villa or room.

Very good accommodation and great pool.Very clean water. Some very friendly helpful staff.

Miss
No other amenities apart from the pool not even a small play area for the children.

Poor reception. When we were checking out totally functional money and keys taken .Not even a "Did you enjoy the stay" or a " Goodbye" .
Food
Seemed to get the simple things wrong such as breakfast eggs served cold and no bacon
Overall
For the high price being charged needs to raise their game!

We came here for lunch. I am surprised there were not more people utilizing this fantastic restaurant. The prices were very reasonable. We asked for a tour of one of the rooms. Very spacious. The pool was absolutely clear and clean. They do need a better walkway to the beach however. I would be worried about a child falling of the deck and landing on the big stones below. Again, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.
