We originally booked for camping at Goibib but as we needed to get a very early start to get across the border we decided to rather stay in the available rooms. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and enjoyed our stay in the clean and comfortable rooms. I would really recommend Goibib as a stay over, especially when travelling toward the SA border as it is only 2 hours away. PS: The camping facilities are also very neat and we would have loved to camp there.

If you need a stopover going along the B1 national road is is a good choice. It is close to the B1 with very good facilities. The comunal ablution facilities are of the best in the bussiness. Friendly hosts. highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived at Goibib, the staff were very accomodating and friendly. After a long drive through the 'desert' the pool was very welcome and the rooms have an honesty bar stocked with cold drinks. Andre then took us on a farm drive to find what we can see. Andre is an outstanding host and tried his utmost for us to spot as much game as we could. The views of the mountains and the region are stunning on the drive and i can only highly recommend to always do the additional drive when you stay at the lodge. Goibib Mountain Lodge was a great stopover for the long drive we did from Cape Town to Windhoek. Thanks again to Andre and his lovely ladies on the staff for making our stay so refreshing!

Andre is a great host and i would highly recommend Goibib Mountain Lodge for anyone passing through the area. Dinners are an optional extra and are well worth it. Accommodation is clean , air conditioned and very pleasant.

Wonderful hospitality Celine personally checked with each couple to ensure that everything was up to standard. Campsites were very clean and tidy, lovely bathrooms. Location was perfect for our trip, we would stay again.
