Lovely place! It’s new so there’s still room for improvements :) they don’t clean the rooms which isn’t an issue if you aren’t staying long! The rooms are very clean although ants do come in which is typical of the Philippines. They have great service overall and we would return! Just a warning there is a band and a singer at night so it can get loud. In room breakfast was alright, wish they had more options (choice of meat, egg and rice - again typical but wish there was pandesal or ensaymada!). Breakdown: 1. Location: across the ocean / oroquieta is very small so honestly you’re close to everything 2. Food: didn’t eat at all there except for breakfast which was okay 3. Staff: so kind! They don’t clean your room though 4. Room: spacious and clean + a balcony - it can get loud at night though

Costa Del Sol is newly built, less than 3 years and has improved the standard of rooms available in Oroquieta City considerably. Although the description of a beachfront resort hotel is a slightly misleading when compared to others it certainly doesn’t detract. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and well laid out, with free WiFi available. Although they have put their prices up, it was still good value for money. The only criticism I would have is the quality of the food on offer, the breakfast was disappointing and the lunch/dinner menu wasn’t up to the quality you’d expect, there are plenty of alternatives within a 10 minute walk which provide a good option. I would say overall a good experience and a welcome addition to the available hotels in town.

Costa del Sol was situated just right in the middle of the City equipped with children friendly and state of the art swimming pool, clean and cozy rooms, a relaxing beach ambiance with clear and swimmable salt water, they also offer variety of local dishes two of my fave is the crispy pata and pansit ala costa, they also have kayak for rent for php 100 only but what I like most is the service beyond my expectations thanks to Wilson and Ian who treated me like a king for my 3days visit I will surely recommend this resort to all my friends and family back home.

It was mother's day 2017 when my sister and I gave mum a treat at Costa Del Sor. We stayed overnight and the place is really clean and cozy. For a small city to have a great place like Costa Del Sol is something. The place has been a favorite place for mini reunions and BBQ parties.

staff are friendly but most are incompetent. woke up every morning by kids yelling and running down hallway.. when i called the front desk, at 7:00 7:30 7:45 8:00 to complain nothing was obviously done. when i went down at 8:10 i was told they were waiting to talk to them until later. they could hear them upstairs but no one bothered to go up and talk to them.. the cook puts whatever ingredients he wants in food and changes them at random, never telling guest what surprise you will have today. the room rates are very high and most facilities are not open or working correctly. staff are not trained and have no proper supervision or management.. when i asked to speak to a manager about inedible food (always cold greasy and mystery ingriediants), rude staff, being woke up every morning at 7am. after 2 days the manager that was only there 3 times a week for an hour each time was too busy to talk to me.. also too busy to care about how the hotel is ran either.. its nice but falling apart substandard materials and poor construction has left the place with a lot of problems hot water cuts in and out showers leak broken doors and on and on.. no one cares if they ever get fixed. and wait till you see how much bad food cost (sky high and bad) and the entrance fee and cost to swim and they even charge you to sit at a table (200 php) on top of you room rate. i was staying there, invited my family to come and some to swim. 1650 for entrance and swim almost 2000php of food and then wanted to charge me 200php for my family to sit at a table by the pool. and the pool girl kept bothering me and my family with nonsense. i requested a supervisor and she never got one, once i went and talked to one she was removed from her duties... no end to how bad this place is, but it looks nice.. they charge a premium rate for Oroquieta with many problems.. this place is a pig with lipstick,,, hopefully someday management will straighten this place up. it could be a nice place
