What I like best about Wayfarer is its fast and reliable Wi-Fi, even inside the rooms, that the big hotels cannot provide. We stayed at the first floor, so I am not sure if the second floor rooms have Internet connections. For a twin-sharing room, 900pesos is more than affordable (though the rooms are quite narrow). The staff are nice.
i stay there once and i found out that they are expensive not only for their rooms but also for their foods. bed and linen are not totally cleaned, towels and blanket smells chlorine. hmmmm i dont want to stay there anymore.
This one year old pension is like an upmarket version of a Tune hotel. Checkin was fast. The room rate was only P900 a night for a double room. The room had good light switches that illuminated at night to guide one. The bed was comfy and had a top sheet plus a camel coloured blanket. Pillows were rubber while the room had a desk but no chair. WiFi was super fast throughout the hotel. The aircon was effective but noisy. The bathroom was completely tiled and had a good hot shower along with crisp white towels. The whole room was. Sparkling clean. It had an inner courtyard window. Ribbs restaurant had ve.r.y good food that was inexpensive. Staff were exceedingly helpful. A great place to stay before catching a bus or driving to Enchanted River, Tinuy-an Falls or…
Don't get me wrong, I love this place. I stayed here for a week, and I actually enjoyed the stay. PROS: Affordable New and clean Good restaurant (RIBBS) Secure CONS Rusty water out of the faucet Reservation is bad It was that before my trip to Camiguin, I reserved for a booking to a single room but when I went back I was reserved to the dorm-type room. Fortunately, a room was available si I didn;t mind their first mistake. The next day I headed to San Franz, Agusan and left my clothes for laundry service and reserved for dorm-type when I get back two days after. Came the day, I was informed that all rooms are fully booked and reserved a month ago! How convenient. They were very apologetic and they gladly reserved me to another hotel which I somehow appreciated. I claimed my…
I can't beleive i never knew about this little place. I've been in Butuan a few times and stayed elsewhere. This time I quickley checked into Gloreta which is just down the road for one night. As i was walking by Wayfarers i was supprised i'd never noticed it before so i asked their room rate. It was cheaper than Gloreta so checked in the next day and wasn't dissappointed. It has a very good restaurant and food menu, which is hard to find in Butuan for a Foreigner. It was always busy, which was nice. The room was very good for the price, very clean, ok size for 2 people. Had an extra single bed which is good for emptying your stuff onto. The aircon was good also and the shower was ok too. I found all of the staff very friendly and helpfull but it really was having the restaurant…
I have checked in at this pension house on several occasions this year . I found it safe, comfortable, clean and their room rates are affordable. The place is within the city proper. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Its restaurant offers a variety of yummy food. The last time I checked in was with family members.
Everytime I visit Butuan I immediately make a beeline to Wayfarer's. The place is clean, the staff are really helpful and as this is a family owned Inn, the service is warm and friendly. It's got free wifi at their restaurant RiBBS. And you get more for your buck for the kind of accommodations you receive. Best of all, their food is awesome! Best burgers and ribs in town! And their menu has several native dishes for those who'd like to sample the local cuisine.
