We mistakenly chose this hotel for our two-day training, and it was one of the mistakes we had to endure. The staff assigned to the function seem to not know what food were served, since they do not have labels and we have colleagues who have food restrictions. The room needs improvement on quality and security - I didn't notice if sprinklers are present. The comfort room was below satisfaction - the water stinks and definitely disgusting. We always use mineral/bottled water to brush our teeth. A participant of ours noted that their room had cockroaches and spiders. Location is quite interior - maybe because there is also a feel that this is a motel for short-time stay. Definitely not going back!

an affordable quaint hotel room where you can park your vehicle infront of your hotel room. their rooms are modern with all amenities. the aircon is very cold and tv has cable. the staff are very friendly. we checked in twice here. first when we were on our way to surigao and 2nd on our way back from surigao going back to manila. their restaurants serves delicious food at affordable prices and is good for sharing. must try their bulalo stew. free breakfast if you are checked in and you can eat at their nice clean restaurant. would recommend this hotel if you need to stay for the night in butuan city

I was surprised with this hotel, it is great. My junior suite was lovely. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was great but there is an additional 20% service charge if you get a room service. The wi-fi inside the room was very problematic but this won't be a problem if you have your own data. The TV's reception was not very good and the channels are limited. But overall experience is great and lovely! Would like to come back to stay here.

We've stayed here a few times now and we really like it. They are kid friendly and have clean rooms. Their food is good and next time we have to travel through Butuan City this will be our place to stay!

The room is clean and noise free. The hotel is away from the main road and you can ask the front desk to get you a tricycle or better have your own contact with a tricycle driver to transfer you places. The rates are affordable and the rooms are way better than you expect on how much it costs. There are no stores nearby and stores close early so you better buy everything you need. The staff are accommodating and quick to respond.

Red Palm is my home away from home place when I'm in Butuan! The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and sioft pillows . It remained clean since it opened but there is a need to renovate the bathroom and doors . It also requires re painting . They serve free breakfast and food is good. The staffs are very nice and accommodating!

stayed here for a night. the room rate can be considered cheap but its room is clean and properly furnished. the room is also spacious. i just have to be mindful with my voice when talking on the phone because i feel i can be heard outside since i can hear some people talking outside my room too. also during night time, if you're bringing a car or having some late night snacks in their cafe, parking could be challenging as it starts to become full once the sun sets.

This was our second stay here - in the middle of Butuan, it is a clean, well presented and furnished small hotel with a good restaurant and pleasant staff. Everything is well maintained, and they serve Guyabano shakes which are exceptional and rarely found anywhere else.

After staying here in September we decided to stay here again. The rooms are nice beds are comfortable also. It's very quiet here, staff are very friendly and will put themselves out to please, WiFi is ok and breakfast, the only downside I will say is it's expensive for what you get. Asked if they done discount but was told only if I paid cash. Security was good . Derrick/Cheryl

Red Palms is a no-nonsense businessman's hotel with average all-around accommodation and facilities. It feels like a motel though with its setup of 1st floor apartments. Its facilities aren't for luxury or extreme comfort but it gets the job done of being a stop-by hotel. Its breakfast options are extremely limited and portions are very small. It looked like they just microwaved the stuff except for the egg. And instead of overflowing coffee they only limit you to 2 small cups which is disappointing. Wifi is horribly slow as well with limited access and intermittent connection. The only area they excelled at is the friendliness of their staff. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone except if your on a limited budget and need immediate accommodation.
