We stopped over one night. Had extra bed ordered and paid for. Was a matress only. No issue for one night , might be if staying longer. Room clean and tidy and facing the pool which was decent size. Didnt use hotel for dinner as our daughter wanted a McDonalds , a short 10 mins walk away. Other restaurants and malls nearby, so ideally located. Convenient for the airport and our flight back to Manila. Breakfast was pleasant, although limited in choice, served outside overlooking he pool. Would definately recommend and we will stay again on next visit to Philippines

I Stayed at the Dotties places hotel with a colleague in January, our original booking was for two weeks but we were both so impressed with the exemplary service we decided to extend our booking for a further two weeks. The hotel is situated within walking distance of local shops and amenities and only a short journey to the wonderful countryside and beaches. We both enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the evening eating the 1st class local cuisine prepared for us by the hotel chef The manager and staff were extraordinary kind and helpful to the extent of working beyond their normal hours to help us with our complicated travel arrangements. I hope to return to the Dotties in the future and have no hesitation in recommending staying at this hotel.

In its heyday, Dottie's was one of the bigger hotels that had a nice pool and good services. My family and I stayed there for a staycation and sadly it just seemed as if time has stopped in its halls and I was transported back in 2010 when I was a teenager invited to a pool party in Dotties. Not much has changed, really, save for the minimal front desk decors. Even the front desk doesn't seem so welcoming had it not have the friendly receptionists. We stayed in a Triple Room. The beds were okay, the wifi was terrible and was always disappearing, the TV selection is okay, the bathroom only had the bare necessities (sachets of shampoo, a tiny bar of soap, a toothbrush set). The menu could do with a lot of revamping. The breakfast could also do some revamping. I would pass by this hotel in my teens thinking how awesome it was that Butuan had a hotel like this. But I'm really disappointed at how it seems to be stuck in time and there seems to have little or no changes. The staff was hospitable enough but they could improve on this. Overall, it's a place to stay in for convenience and not somewhere you go to for excellent hospitality.

We stayed here for 2days and what i didn't like about the place is that it doesn't have a phone!! Phone is must as we use it all the time to order food or have an urgent inquiry or request.. They gave us a smart mobile no. To call whenever we need something😂😂 We ordered sinigang na Bangus but it's too bland..they should have a packet of fish sauce.. it's a must as we doesn't have the same taste buds.. Pork sinigang is ok.. Palabok and Spaghetti is bland as well.. my boyfriend put at a cheesewhiz we had from San Fran's HGC Hotel as we stayed there for 3days prior to our stay in Dotties, on his spag to add taste as it's too bland😂😂 their calamansi and pineapple slushes are good though.. Breakfast is good.. swimming pool is only till 8pm.. should be at least till 10pm..

It has improved aesthetically compared to the last time I was here (about 3yrs ago). Checked-in at Room101 (poolside view) for an overnight stay after attending an event for 1k pax. Food was so-so, but service by their staff was good. Their room was clean, but their beddings weren’t tidy (was crumpled, just folded and placed on top of the bed). Their water heater in the bathroom doesn’t work (even after letting the water flow for 20mins-such a waste of water). The sprinkler at the ceiling looks like it’s falling off. For me, the best part is that it’s accessible - by the highway and walking distance to banks, fastfood, Robinson’s mall and the bus terminal.

No cleaning of room before we asked for it. The bathroom was directly disgusting upon our arrival. The extra bed for p600 pr. night for our child was just a mattress on the floor. No minibar, fridge or electric kettle in the room. Windows in the room yawned by several inches, so much noise from the street. Nice and friendly staff. Very nice pool area, also good for kids. Located a few minutes walk from a big mall and busterminal.

I stayed only one night. The room wasn't clean but also not dirty. The furniture and appliances were old. The door closing mechanism made it hard to enter the room. There was no hot water at that time. There was a window with view on a wall. The pool site was definetly very nice, but not in a well maintained state. I actually felt unsafe inside the pool. The breakfast was ok for the price range. The food quality of the restaurant was average (I only ordered some appetizers). The personell was friendly, but no one guided me to my room. Wifi was working. An overall average 3 star (!!filipino standards!!) experience.
