Room was ok kettle and a fridge although fridge was warm no tea in the room just a couple of sachets of sweet coffee powder We decided to have an evening meal because it was getting late for the children . No child meals , and only filipino food served , I picked 3 dishes off the menu all were not available! So choice was very poor . , breakfast was the same ,only filipino food and only coffee no tea. Poor selection of juice . Only up side was the nice pool . . If your not filipino and like a variety of food. give the place a miss

The hotel provides best amenities, sumptuous food and offers exemplary customer service even it's rates are affordable. It has also wide, spacious parking area and overlooking sight of the nature. Visiting from the US, I stayed one week at this hotel, and I loved it! I stayed in the deluxe suite, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The most impressive part of my stay was the staff! they were all very kind and accommodating. I had one issue with the air conditioner at the beginning of my stay, but that was quickly resolved within a matter of minutes. The room was super cool after that! I was treated in a 5 star way the entire time, thank you so much Grand Palace! Best hotel and treatment I have ever experienced. Loved the breakfast buffet, room service food was delicious, and the pool was so nice. For my next stay in Butuan, I'm not even going to try and experiment with another hotel, why would I when I found something so great like Grand Palace? I will be back!

I recently stayed here, food was good,,service was wonderful, very nice and willing to bend,,however when it came time to pay for 6 on pool buffet ,2 of us already had passes to the pool, but yet we had to pay 320 for a crappy buffet not worth 320...when it should have been 195..cause for that price I and my wife cou l d have had a better buffet in the dinning room...unfortunately. ..and no pool towels made me not give 5 stars,,,

I love the fact that I was billeted to a room located at the end of the hallway overlooking the pool. My only gripe is the insufficient size of its dining area at the lobby. The hotel must expand the same as it gets full pretty easily, especially when there's a function or event where attendees opt to stay at the hotel. Nevertheless, it's good to know that the staff would provide room service for guests who can't be accommodated in the dining area at the lobby when it is full.

I am the logistics manager of travel shows for TV and have been searching for a hotel partner that will help our team navigate both Surigao Del Norte & Surigao Del Sur - in the easiest and most-time conserving way - for our Sohoton (Bukas Grande Island) and Enchanted River features coverage. Fortunately we happened upon Butuan Grand Palace Hotel in our research. Butuan is the perfect landing for either planes or boats coming from Manila for tourists going to either Surigao Del Norte or Surigao Del Sur. It is a few hours to Surigao Del Sur, and also a few hours to Surigao Del Norte - making it a perfect take-off point or stop-over for both destinations. I contacted the hotel manager and our call was greeted with utmost hospitality by the owner and general manager himself. Our team was treated with the utmost courtesy with pick-up of our team and transfers assisting us for our tapings from the pier and around Butuan in style done with the latest tourist vans and 4x4 land cruiser vehicles - assisting us with the smoothest and most comfortable transfers throughout the varying terrain. When we got to the hotel it was the most wonderful surprise to find that our designated take-off and drop-off point was in itself a destination all on its own! Situated at the center of Butuan, it is close to all the nice restaurants and souvenir shops, so is a wonderful tourist spot all on its own. It is luxuriously furnished with the most comfortable Egyptian cotton beds and spacious rooms with study and warm lighting allowing the weary traveler to relax the moment he steps in and use the golden silence of the place to plan and get to work, as he needs. The minimalist interiors are reminiscent of high-end hotels in Manila that relax and soothe, with attentive and courteous staff that tend to your every need, ensuring a top-rating service and stay to satisfy and calm your spirit. Their dining is opulent - a buffet of chinese breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a la carte provisions, and cookies to go with the meals, to satisfy the body, heart and soul. Their business center enables you to work as you need and correspond with colleagues and loved ones even when you are away, while their lounge area with massage chairs allows you to take a soothing break, so you may revive, before you get up again for your day. Their pool area and bar area allows you to enjoy some sun and a good swim, and get away. And the first hand attention of the managers and owners as we worked and stayed all made up for the distance it took to arrive. Our tapings in Surigao Del Sur and Surigao Del Norte were a success and we looked forward to our trip back to Manila again in the loving care and arms of the Butuan Grand Palace Hotel. It was an unexpected and treasure of a find at the heart of eastern Mindanao where the best of outdoor adventure and the beauty of nature meets the comfort of luxury - a destination all on its own. A must-see and must-go-to place for everyone geared for their Butuan, Surigao Del Norte and Surigao Del Sur adventures across our Islands Philippines! Butuan Grand Palace is the best!! Thank you for our most wonderful experience!

I decided to celebrate my new year with my beloved family at Grand Palace hotel. And yes, we had a wonderful celebration indeed. Staffs are very accommodating. The hotel is elegant, clean, spacious as well as our room. Room service is real quick. The breakfast buffet is great with many varieties. They had pool that surely you will enjoy and is safe for kids. Before I forgot, Grand Palace hotel is a BUDGET-FRIENDLY one. I would be more than happy to stay here again in the near future. No hesitation in recommending this hotel. :)

The hotel offer a free transportation to airport, but you need to call them if you arrive to the airport. You also can ride a private Van for 500 Peso (10$) or you can ride any multi-cap to the terminal for 40 Peso then take a tricycle to the hotel
