Went to Butuan for a week for a very important transaction in the city and decided to give Almont Inland a second chance. Glad I did, my previous observations were now gone and it seem addressed already. Food has improved a lot and the place is way cleaner. I highly recommend this place again
I usually travel and check in to business hotels and B&Bs but this is the first time I checked in a different setting and gladly I did. My experience staying in Almont Inland Resort is one of a kind. IT was truly a unique and amazing experience. The food is great and the staff are super friendly
Pandemic really hits every businesses in the hospitality sector but been able to visit the place this time around, they still retained there unique brand of hospitality. This is my second visit in Butuan City and my first time to stay at Almont Inland Resort. All I can say is that the experience is one of a kind. No other place in Butuan that offer such service.
Nice resort with good service BUT impossible to sleep longer than 04.45😓 I was located beside Houseceeping for 4 nights and realized that the personell shout one another- its obviously normal to talk loud and this destroyed my vacation partly...
we visited this resort for a day and we were not impressed with our stay overall. pro: parking, big reception area, resort feel cons. poor breakfast offering, rooms are filled with mosquito, unhelpful staff on the property and rooms far back with long way to walk.
I booked 3 nights here (2n in a Junior Suite & 1n in their standard room). I wouldn't say they have the best amenities nor that everything was well-maintained (especially the standard rooms) but I liked that rooms are huge and it's a place where kids can enjoy the pool. Also. they're not very strict on the number of guests that can use the hotel's amenities. The staff are courteous and responsive when a request is placed, and the hotel's restaurant and cafe are nice places to chill or do remote work. What I don't like is that the hotel has their own curfew (they close the main gate at 12midnight) and lights are off on their reception and pathways.
Very poor customer service. Staffs are all rude (front desk and breakfast servers). I had to check in here for my cousin’s wedding. I called front desk to ask details about the breakfast and he answered “Ma’am ako na ng gisulti nimo pagcheck in palang.” Really?! I also work in the hospitality industry and it is never okay to answer like that. No matter how repetitive the questions are, you should always answer your guests politely. Did you even screen all your employees before hiring them? Do you ever train them about customer service? Because basing from how we were treated, it’s very disappointing. No matter how beautiful the hotel is, if the staffs are rude, you will always lose customers. You’re in the front desk for a reason, to greet guests and let them feel welcomed the moment they step in the lobby. Also, we requested for room cleaning to no avail. So we asked for trash liners instead, front desk confirmed but never came. So for everyone planning to check in, think twice!…
Worst hotel you can stay at. Choose another hotel in that area. If the rate seems cheap because they charge pretty much everything. To share with you a background, me and two of my hotelier friends stayed here. Started before check-in I asked them if they can provide an iron and ironing board in the room because we are traveling from Manila and are attending a wedding. This is such a basic amenity for a hotel but no they can’t do it because “it might cause an accident”. Instead they want you to pay for pressing. Fast forward during the stay. We missed breakfast by minutes and we are trying to order coffee from room service. They dont want to even deliver this to the room. They want us to walk a good 10mins and pick it up ourselves. We asked we can just get toast because we missed breakfast. Gave us two slices of toast and asked us to again pay. Btw their breakfast is not even worth going its just plated limited choice. Go get your own coffee from the station. No housekeeping for two nights. Not even an to offer to replenish necessities in the room. You have to call everytime for this and the resort is not even half occupied. Are you that busy? But they’re not finish there. We asked to borrow an umbrella because it was raining really hard. They said we can only borrow and surrender it to the gate of the resort. They have our luggage. Are they super concerned that we would take those cheap umbrellas? Lastly they charged us for the towel saying it was dyed. I explained to them that it was a purple conditioner and I even showed them it can be removed by soap and water. They still insisted to charge. Now I see how cheap they can get and just paid. I asked to take the towel with me since I actually paid for it, but now they said I pay a full price for a brandnew towel. I didnt even want to take it home. I just want to throw it and make sure they cant re-use something they charge me for. Ended up saying that what I paid for is just cleaning fee. Php300 to laundry a towel. Your staff are only ever concerned about charging whatever they can get away with. Very disgusting service.…
