This is a relatively new hotel that we found during our recent business trip... Here is my review: Rooms are a bit small with minimalist amenities but very comfortable still... (Would have been better if it was bigger and has a decent workspace.. also a percukator for coffee or tea) Bathroom is modern but small.. Service is exceptional.. All staff were smiling.. Always happy to assist me in all me needs.. When i was working late at night in the lobby they provided me with a table from one of their function rooms.. super thankful for that... Food was awesome..had breakfast and dinner in their restaurant/cafe.. Good portions and decently priced... Overall... Im definitely staying here when im the city...

Room is clean. Towel, hotel shampoo and conditioner are provided. Everything was functional. We had boneless bangus (milkfish) for breakfast and it was really good. Front desk was courteous and friendly.

This is my third stay at this hotel. This time, I had my relatives stayed with us. We booked for 3 rooms and again, it did not disappoint. The hotel location may not be near any mall but somehow, what we need is already there. They had Mercury Drug (where you can get almost anything), there's True Brew Cafe (which serves yummy pasta and desserts) and a bakery. The hotel has a restaurant which serves good food. I wish to extend my thank you to the staff who offered us their private room where we celebrated my nephew's birthday. The effort was a surprise and very much appreciated. Thank you to the Manager, Norly for the room arrangement, everyone was happy with the stay. I wish to extend my thank you to everyone at the desk (Llendy, the pregnant lady at the desk, Mervs and Martin at the resto and Mario ) - there are some whose name I have not mentioned, yet, I want to thank them too for all their assistance. I hope to come back again and see these people's smiling faces and be assigned to stay in the same R.2202 (which has become my favorite room).

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days in Nov 2016, found it to be very pleasurable with hot water, cold air, good Wi-Fi connection and the breakfast served was very good and delicious. Also has a Mercury drug and coffee house at it's entrance. Easy to catch trike or Bachelor bus if need be.

This is a duplicate entry. Search for "y hotel" with blank. Things are kept clean and freshly painted. Spacious rooms with fridge. Bed blankets with holes, don't understand them not changing them. Complimentary breakfast is ok, Philippine standard. Hot water works, pressure is high, but smells and tastes of metal. Overall slightly overpriced but a good and clean place.

Don't think that this place is older than three years. They're doing the easy maintenance things: cleaning, that has to be done anyway. And painting. There were paintworks ongoing and the existing paint is obviously not very old. The other room and hotel interior is not yet rotten enough to get changed. Water smelled and tasted of metal, maybe from their tanks or the well pumps. The bed covers had a hole, we had them change it. Hot water works, pressure is high. Rooms are equipped with fridges they should turn them off when unused. Cleaning would be nice also. Complimentary breakfast was OK, Philippines standard.

Great staff. Fast service. Homey. Good wifi. Clean rooms. Breakfast is good as well. However I would recommend to change the blanket & add more pillows. Overall this is my choice hotel in Butuan City.

Cheap, looks fancy. Resto area is great for working, with many electric outlets and cheap coffee. Provides WiFi but you have to enter a new coupon every hour or so Cons: thin blankets, no bidet, shower water "tastes"/smells weird

The first thing that I like about Y Hotel is its location. It's very accessible to any kind of transportation. Y Hotel is walking distance from Taipei Main Station. The family room hotel is clean and spacious. We were given 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. The bathroom is clean and comfortable. Another thing that I like is the vicinity, the area is surrounded by Taiwanese food (really delicious) and drinks. It is also near Mitsukoshi, UNIQLO, Muji and bookstores. The staff speaks good english and very helpful.

Butuan usually is just a jump off point to other places of interest in Mindanao. We decided to stay here for two nights, out of nothing else to do, and thought it was going to be a waste of time. But my friends and I were surprised. We stayed in YHotel. The grounds were very clean and so were the rooms. Wifi connectivity was fast. The staff were also very accommodating. The hotel manager, Norly, went out of his way to look for places for us to go to and stuff for us to do. They also suggested the best places to dine at. Thanks to YHotel, our stay in Butuan turned out to be an adventure!
