My fella and I stayed here from Feb 6-9, 2015. We had originally planned to stay from 7th-9th but since there was a change in our itenerary and the weather didn't really cooperate we decided to stay earlier. Mr. Jun Padua, the owner, was our contact person himself. We got a package deal from him a few weeks prior to our stay and boy the responses to our emails were so prompt and were detailed (PDF). The package consisted tours, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), accommodation and transpo in the town proper. We had no idea how to get to Sabang port and what transportation to take but Mr Padua obligingly provided suggestions. In the same manner he would do with package queries, his suggestions were detailed in fact longer than his previous messages to ensure we would have the most workable options. With this very gesture we felt the most genuine hospitality we had ever experienced. When we arrived Mr.Padua wasn't at the hotel. He was in Manila to buy a generator. I wasnt so sure what it was for since we didn't experience any blackouts during our stay which other people claim occur in town sometimes. Despite his absence we never felt unattended. Ms. Lyn Padua, Mr.Padua's cousin, was in charge. Along with the staff, Ms.Padua ensured that all of our needs were provided. The room was ready when we set foot on the hotel vicinity. We had a unit with one queen but since we needed extra space they provided us another bed with no extra charge. At other hotels rollaway beds are charged and are subject to availability but Travellers Camp gave it to us free of charge. The room was clean and so was the private restroom. Amongst the conveniences in the room were a TV, an AC, a fan, free wifi and towels. The hotel has a living area where guests can lounge after the tours. There are DVDs, a player, an a flat screen TV in the livingroom. The dining area is the most interesting part of the accommodation. It's outdoor and is an open-space so guests can catch fresh air while munching on the plentiful food. There was a bar too although we didnt order liquors Im pretty sure it is operational because we saw full and half-emptied bottles of liquors that were dust free. I am kind of positive as well that TTC can hold small to medium-sized functions because of the dining area's layout and setting. A few steps from the dining area was a backyard typical in rural places. It looked so inviting that my folk and I walked about and took pictures of the surrounding before eating our first breakfast at TTC. To our delight there was something better waiting for us. There was a lush rice field with mountainview a few meters away from the backyard. It was so good and was so refreshing in the eyes. There was a Nipa House and that added beauty to the retro-feel the place offered. Anyway, there were non-stop-serving-and-eating-of-scrumptious-and-sumptuous-food at TTC. All the meals were fresh, delicious and generous. We never had repeat dishes. In the morning Ms.Padua would knock to remind us of the breakfast and the tours. The tours they provided were all awesome and were at the best destinations. We had two different boats during our tours. Both were small but were manned by very knowledgable boatmen. It was an uncle-nephew tandem so the coordination and cooperation between them were very evident. Kudos to TTC for hiring the right people to supervise our tours. We felt safe and were well taken care of. The tour boats are small so if you are looking for big ones Caramoan isn't the right place for you. Transportation service in town was also superb. We rode the most common means of transportation in Caramoan proper, tricycly, and it was already included in the package. We were driven to and from the port and were transported to and from the pier.

The Travelers Camp is in reality a house with several rooms, rather than a hotel, and is therefore great for big families like ours. For a full-board 3 days/2 nights price of P3,700, inclusive of transfers, we did not have to worry about anything else as soon as we reached Naga. As we boarded the ferry to and from Caramoan Ariel, Man Friday of owner Jun Padua, took charge of ensuring that the bags were loaded and secured. Delia and Lyn made sure we had good food (including merienda) and comfortable accommodations. Our lunch was packed as we boarded our boats every morning to go island hopping. At night, they arranged for massages to soothe our tired muscles. Except for a plumbing problem in 2 of the bedrooms, our stay was very pleasant.

i was there last weekend and we felt the hospitality of the caretakers of Travelers Camp. There were some areas of opportunities (bathroom) but Ate Lyn and the other members of their family were very accomodating. The food was also exceptional.

Sir Ed was very helpful in directing us in how to go to Caramoan (4 hour bus drive from Naga City), Traveller’s Camp service’ (tricycle driver) booked the bus seats for us going back to Naga City. Package was affordable including deliciously prepared food (crabs, lapu-lapu, large prawns among others), boat rental, accommodating personnel and simple accommodations with good airconditioning. Appreciated how our boat men indicated the name of the islands, explained name of an island and indicated best place where to swim. Our group of 6 had ages ranging from 11 to 72 years old felt safe in the boat. May want to ask how many islands you will go to in a day, so you may estimate how long you would like to stay in a particular island.

Very affordable rate. We stayed there May 9-12, 2013. Their customer service was way beyond expectation. Plus the food they serve is very delicious.

They have very friendly staff that will treat you not as a customer but like a visiting relative. Highly recommended!!!!

We had the most wonderful time in Caramoan last June 17-21, 2012. The Traveler's Camp has comfortable accommodations, tasty home-made food and awesome package tour arrangements. Moreover, staff are very friendly, took good care of us, and price is reasonable!! highly recommended!

This place is such a very good place to stay in Caramoan. From their very affordable price package to the place itself and the tour package and to their very oh sooo delicious foods ! Very accommodating staff and all. This really deserves 5stars! You will never say no to the foods they will serve in front of you👌🏻! The place itself is a very comfortable place to stay with. its like your away from your home but you will never feel that way. Aside from the beautiful islands, this place is definitely the reason why we still want to go back in caramoan. Thank you The Traveler's Camp for making our vacation an awesome one!
