The villas was okey but the problem was the mosquitoes on the room. The WiFi was also was slow and not accessible on every rooms. The saving grace is the restaurant because the foods are looks and taste delicious. The staff are respectful and accommodating.
Cleaning is ok, rooms are ok. but there is a weird lack of service. they have no bar in tha launging/pool area (or anywhere else for that matter). they have a restaurant wich served good food but service is slow. if you want to hang out and have a few drinks this is not the place. and its the best place in town still. wifi is good the reception really cant / dont want to help out with anything, a simple thing like arranging transportation witch any hotel should be able to is to much to ask really in this place. they arranged taxi for us but it didnt show up and they didnt even tell us the driver "got sick" until we asked after waiting 2 hours near the reception (!)
I could not fault the staff. All very friendly & helpful. There is a WiFi, but this only works intermittently (due to the remote location) and only works near reception - the rooms after the swimming pool don't have coverage. Rooms are sort of clean. We didn't get too many insects. Food is basic. You'll find a lot of TV people (filming Survivor) from different countries all walking about like they own the place
Hotel is nothing like the photo shown. Road to this hotel is in bad condition, location is not strategically easy to locate for tourist. Upon arrival, receptionist was not friendly. Did not explain to us any amenities provided. Went to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, was not attended by any of the staff when we were the only person there. Wifi not able to connect from the room or the dining area. Was downgraded to a smaller room from what we had paid for. From room for 4 to room for 2. Main door to the room have cracks on it that we need to cover throughout the entire stay with chair, towel and paper. In less than 5 minutes entering the room, cockroach was spotted crawling on the wall. Room lighting was dim. The toilet was a mess. Hairs, insects, stains everywhere. The shower was leaking. Shower head was stained with thick dirt/soap. We decided to check out after securing the next hotel, the staff did not bother to ask why.…
We visited off season and we were the only guests in the hotel. We literally felt like we own the place. We were met by the guide at the port with a tricycle. The food was great, 3 different viands per meal. The shower and aircon needs improvement. The bed is good for one, great mattress.
We stayed from May 16-18, 2018. Here's my general observation: 1. Our rooms were clean and big. The bed and pillows were comfortable. 2. The food that were prepared and served were great! Delicious! 3. The staff were friendly, accommodating and pleasant. 4. They played nice music in the restaurant. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Things to improve: 1. Our room was near to a garbage area. Very smelly. 2. There were cats in the ceiling. There could be one dead kitten.. Very smelly. 3. This property could attract more and more tourist. Perhaps they need to improve a bit of their landscape, take care of the plants, repair some of the facilities. I'm sure this will attract more travelers.
West Peninsula Villas is conveniently located in the center (bayan) of Solnopan, Caramoan. Boutiques, shopping and pasalubong centers, and local banks are just a stone throw away. My friends and I enjoyed our memorable adventure including the island hopping in Caramoan. Upon arrival at the resort, we were happily welcomed by the friendly staff. The Bicolanos were known for being kind-hearted and great chefs. No wonder, great dishes were served on us. The downside of Caramoan was the fluctuating electric supply. Considering that we stayed during summer time, the area was full of guests/clients. Hopefully, this situation would improve soon in order to attract more guests and tourists. The resort has clean rooms. The one booked for us has veranda where we enjoyed chatting and sharing fun adventures. Our over all stay was really good!…
I made my booking a day before my arrival and they did not require a deposit. The place is walking distance to stores where you can buy all you need. They have breakfast-lunch-dinner package. Lunch and dinner have generous servings, good for two persons and taste good. They will pack your lunch if you go island hopping. They should have more choices for breakfast though. Overall, the place is good for its price. Caramoan has UCPBank which charges 40 pesos for non-UCPB cardholders.
Arrived late than expected due to an earlier rain and storm in the area making the drive slow . The place is in Caromoan Center , a walking distance to local souvenir shops, the famous St Michael the Archangel Church built in 1629. The staff are exceptional , my family brought in food for dinner and they don’t mind lending us their utensils and plates . I recommend this place for stay if there are plans for island hopping
My family and i went to Caramoan for an overnight stay. It would take probably around five hours from Naga to Caramoan. Room: the room that we got was near the swimming pool. It has 2 double beds, we were four so i guess the space was decent enough to accommodate us. Toilet and Bath were huge, but the shower head was broken so we didnt have a choice but to use the faucet. They didnt provide toiletries. No cable. They had very limited food choices based on their menu. They only had fish, vegetables and chicken when we stayed there.
