Perfect and clean rooms and amenities. Staffs were also attentive to our needs and services. Foods provided are excellent including lots of seafood which is usually not cheap. I can't believe everything is provided for what we paid for. We got Ely as put tour guide. He is the best. Always looks after the safety during the shirt and long island trips, but still able to complete the schedule. I advise to get their package deal either the 3d2n at least to maximize your enjoyment.

Great place to stay. Cheap and clean with fantastic staff. My only complaints are they don’t clean the rooms every day, you have to ask them to and the food is lovely but cold and the serves could be slightly bigger. Beautiful beach at the front and perfect for island hopping.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The place is just infront of the beach and very accessible if you're planning to go for island hopping. The restaurant is good too. If you have special food requests, they prepare it for you. Massage therapists upon request which is very convenient.

Maayos naman sila mag accomodate kayo parang tinatamad. Yung breakfast paulit-ulit. Pero maganda yung place. Being in the beachfront is no use dahil di naman pwede swimming-an yung beach. I hate the bangkero sa hotel. We didn't avail the island hopping in the hotel cause we already met who we want to be our bangkero and according din sa mga napagtanungan ko, pwede naman kami mismo pumunta sa tourism office nila para sa island hopping eh. We even asked the staff first kung ano yung iooffer nila na mas better sa nakuha namin pero wala naman siyang nasagot na maayos so tinuloy namin yung plano namin. Pero on our stay, may nagpakilala samin na bangkero na nagalit kinonfront kami at nagalit samin. Like?? But the staffs didn't do anything even they saw what the bangkero is doing. They just walked over us. The staffs were not even busy. I haven't seen them busy. Sa morning lang pag breakfast. No one even bothered to ask for room service.

We stayed 2 nights for s swim competition. I find the hotel cute and clean. Wifi is strong. Food at the restaurant are limited but good. During peak hours restaurant tend to mix up orders from other guests. The location has good parking space. We stayed at the family room with 8 bunk beds though if was listed good for 8-10 pax. The room has 2 bathroom. Overall the stay was good and the staff are friendly.

We suggest kuya Ely to become your tour guide. Such a warm hospitality from him. Attached is his calling card for your reference.
The rooms were spacious enough and is affordable.
The food is fair enough.
You can enjoy videoke with big screens at night.

First of all I appreciate that this place is very friendly. The staff is excellent and provides very good service. I also must admit that the residence is clean and cozy. In fact, it's a small villa for 12 guests. Taking these advantages in the account, I'd recommend this place for the backpackers, and those who are travelling on the budget. But here is the problem. I cannot recommend this place because it is very expensive for the value it offers. You can easily find in 10-15 mins ride much better value for money places which offer not less but for quite reduced prices. You can contact me for more recommendations. So, in order to be objective, I'll detail now what I got in this accommodation: extremely small room under the roof with just one single bed, tv which is almost useless because of a bad signal, no wifi, very noisy aircon, very steep staircase up to the room, very small shared toilet and shower with other guests on the first floor, good food but without much selection, no seafood (crabs, prawns etc.) which is expected on Caramoan. They provide the rides from/to Naga including van and boat, but transportation on the island is in their trikes, which is not a good idea. It is 20 min trike ride from the port and 30 min trike ride to the banca boats! They have a van but never offer it for use by guests. I wonder why? Now, as I said, you can get all the same comfort stay without that fancy indoors, but a solid budget hotel for almost half the price. So, I don't see any reason to pay the much higher price for what we get, unless you are very rich and ready to pay twice for the smiles of the staff you get. Actually, the rating I see here is enormously high. It's higher than Avenue Plaza in Naga, which is one of the best hotels in the area. It makes me worry about objectiveness here. I put 1 star in order to low this fantastically high rating.

Only one word would sum up our 3-day summer vacation in Caramoan and that is "stress-free", that's because we got our vacation all-in package from Residencia de Salvacion. From the moment our feet touched the town of Caramoan to the time we have to catch the ferry to go back home, everything was absolutely stress-free.

I have done my reservations with RdS almost 3 months prior our scheduled travel and to my amazement they only have few slots available at that time. We're just lucky that as soon as we are able to find a 3-day slot wherein all of us in my group agreed with I have sent the 20% downpayment thru paypal and got the booking confirmation instantly from the RdS manager.

Our group of 6 got a large comfortable room located at the 2nd floor facing the sea. The room has a terrace, AC unit and a stand fan, 3 queen-sized beds, a cabinet and dresser with lots of drawers for storage, a large LED TV with cable and built-in movies, and a private comfort room with hot/cold shower.

RdS is located at the far end side of Paniman Beach where it is quiet and has quick access to the river connected to the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience kayaking, discovering places and just taking in the beautiful scenery around us.

The package <P3,300/head for 6 persons> at RdS includes:
1. Comfortable lodging, it's so relaxing that we could stay indoors and just watch the Survivor Caramoan series all-day.
2. Transpo around Caramoan
3. Scrumptious food in large servings. 3x/day with snacks and unlimited mineral water, coffee & softdrinks. We even got a free breakfast on our arrival and packed lunch to-go when we borded the ferry.
4. Island hopping - meals, boat, tour guide, all kinds of fees.

Addtnl perks:
1. Unlimited free use of videoke
2. Unlimited free use of kayak
3. Helpful and very hospitable staff and owners

The moment we arrived we were treated like royalties. The RDS staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, service par-excellence! The place was simply adorable, peaceful and quite, comfortable and clean, you can easily relax and sleep without distraction; hmmmm! except for my grand kids which I can not resist playing with. The hostel has clean and spacious rooms, fully air-conditioned, nice bathroom with hot and cold shower. It also has wide terraces which offer splendid view of the surrounding scenery – Bgy. Paniman coastline upfront, a river and various rock formations on the east-side, south is a heavily vegetated hill and a small shrubby clearing on the west. It is probably the most reasonably priced accommodation along the beach for an all-in three days two nights stay. The owner even offered us a third room for free as we’re the lone guest at the hostel as the peak season was way over – many thanks po! We would appreciate though if you could replace those empty Boysen paint pails in the CR with more presentable ones, and install some hangers.

Food was awesome and great, though they need at times to adjust the menu as I can only take very minute amount of meat. We were a big group and surprisingly there was plenty to spare after each meal, though my family are voracious eaters! Everything you served us were simply mouth watering, giving us herculean cravings for what to be serve for the next meal.

For the tour, hopping from isle-to-isle showed us that this isolated town is truly still an unblemished paradise away from the commercial type of tourism. Each island offers its own secrets, where you can see and feel seventh heaven, and where nature cast its spell to all comers. The only letdown is I was issued an undersized life vest. I look terrible on this thing, whew!!!

Overall, we were awed by its pristine unspoiled beaches with ultra fine white powdery sand, the crystal clear aquamarine waters which enabled us to snorkel and watch its lush marine life, the prominent limestone cliffs and rock formations which look like oversize jigsaw puzzles……. Wow, this is the “Garden of Eden” once again unveiled! I have been to Boracay several times and to a lot more beautiful beaches, this is probably the most virgin and majestic of all. You be the judge when you pay a visit.

Initially, the generous lady-owner, Myrna, arranged package tours for referrals of family and friends only. Now they have opened their vacation house to the public. I stumbled into the owner’s “Caramoan myHometown” website during my research of the islands for our planned Jan 2010 adventure. After many logistical questions and details, the owner eventually offered me their B&B as an alternative to the more expensive resort.

Staying here is like you're part of the family--hospitality unlike any other. Their staff wonderfully takes care of their guests. Avail of their generous package—a fraction of the cost at Gota Village—and you'll surely not regret it. It includes food, lodging, boat rides to/from Guijalo, local transpo for island hopping. No need for you to haggle with the boatman for your fares to/from Guijalo, or with the boatmen for island hopping, or tricycle (tuk-tuk style) driver, or even at the public market. Our guide Gina took care of that. Thank you, Gina!

Food? Wow! Eat-all-you-can seafood—can’t beat that. Tell them what you want and Manay Ambe will cook your Filipino favorites. Cooking is done on woodfire, so the flavor and aroma is....hmmmm...yummm...yummm. Throw in some desserts if you can indulge for more.

Residencia de Salvacion is a 15-min ride from Guijalo Port, and situated mid-way between Guijalo and Centro (the town proper). The vacation house is modern and clean. The bedrooms come with a/c and hot water shower, and the family/living room is spacious and well-appointed. It can comfortably accommodate 8-20 people. Better come in groups for real fun and adventure. For big groups, they will arrange a van to take you and your picnic baskets to your desired destination. Note: Internet service can be spotty; some CF may have weak signals in some areas (check with owners); cable is probably reinstalled by now.

Thanks to the Nunez family and staff for the hospitality and opening their home to strangers who are eager to discover the beauty of the Caramoan Islands.
