You will enjoy the hospitality of the staff. Specially the owner of the Inn. This place is so memorable, you will not pay for your stay but you will pay for your experience. Kayaks are free to use. Foods are really good! We salute you CK Inn despite of the bad weather condition for the month of December.

Two months of travelling the Philippines, Caramoan was one of the highlights! We arrived by bus in the town and was met by Harvey! He had a tricycle waiting for us, asked if we were hungry then took us to a local place to eat! We arrived at the port and boarded a small boat over to the homestay. The home stay was basic but had everything you needed, Harvey's aunt can't speak English but makes you feel welcome and comfortable! The meals were always plenty and tasty, coffee would be left out with hot water in the morning and through out the day. The day after we arrived we rented two kayaks with information from Harvey we set out towards cove beaches which were beautiful, only seeing one other boat of tourists throughout the day. We stayed out late but returning for lunch as we had the beach bum vibe! As we started getting hungry and considering to go back a boat appeared and as it got closer we could see Harvey, he said he had been worried we hadn't been back that we might be hungry, we said we were and he offered to go and collect the lunch and bring it to us on the beach! After about an hour he returned with blue Marlin steak and an assortment of other delicious food, it was amazing, my girlfriend doesn't eat fish and she ate it all and also complimented that it was delicious! The experience of having an amazing lunch on a beautiful cover beach by ourselves was unforgettable and wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Harvey's constant hospitality! They offered us a lift back but we opted for a final paddle on the kayaks as the sea was so calm! The third day we arranged a two night three day island hopping trip, including staying on two different islands, Harvey went over the islands with us and helped us decide a plan and arrange a tent rental. On the morning a tricycle to take us to the other port and on the way stopped off for us to pick up lunch and provisions for the trip. When we arrived at the port we had a minor delay as the boats propeller had hit a rock but Harvey and his crew had it sorted quickly and we were off! We went to four different islands the first day and the sandbar to have lunch all were amazing but the survivor island for me was the most beautiful. By the end of the day the weather turned, we arrived at our final island, as we approached Harvey looked bothered because there were a few tents already pitched, he apologized and said its normally quiet but it was holy week so that must be why, we didn't mind, but you can tell he wanted us to have the lone island experience! He and his crew helped us set up our tent, start a fire for cooking and checked we were okay, they then set off and said they would collect us tomorrow! The next day we were picked up and dropped off at survivor island for a lazy day, we had arranged for the boat to stay with us that night as my girlfriend was unsure about being the only people on the island (we didn't know the survivor TV security were there until we got there). We text Harvey in the day if his crew when they came back to stay the night if they could bring more provisions, around 6pm they returned with provisions, but apologized that they couldn't get the whisky (if you're on an island you need whiskey!) We didn't mind however as we had ran out of water and they had brought that! They once again set our fire, let us cook, took the cooker went back on their boat and went around the corner out of sight so we felt alone but there none the less if we needed them! The next morning we were picked up dropped at the home stay, picked up our bags and we're back on the boat to Naga, once again all arranged by Harvey! If you're planning on coming here Harvey is a really nice person, he speaks fluent English, talks to you as someone he knows rather than a tourist and will make you experience in Caramoan memorable and easy as he makes sure everything is taken care of. He really made the trip for us. We unfortunately didn't get to say goodbye in person but we're grateful for the effort that he had put into our stay with him and his family. We had a blast! thanks so much Harvey and co. for everything!

We were there because was recommended by lonely planet as a nice resort...in fact it is the only one in Guilajo and really expensive for the place! 1500 P for a rough room with common rough bathroom, ... it could be ok for half price but absolutely not for this price.

Came back at the Inn last month with my friends, and the experience was just awesome. Kuya Rene (our friendly and very accommodating tour guide, and as far as tour guides go - he's the man!) as usual fetched us at the port, and we started the activities on the first day. The Baligian falls trip was just worth the rough seas and the inclement weather, definitely recommended. Kayaking was fun, very much enjoyed it despite that it was raining too hard in that afternoon. And the island hopping the next day was wunderbar! Visiting the hidden lagoon in one of the islands is none but mandatory, you should be flexible enough to climb the razor sharp limestone (looks like igneous rocks too) cliffs though. Service is still exceptional at best! They catered to our every need, transportation and all the other stuff. What I noticed though is that bunker room has seen its better days, repainting is a must and so as the showers and the toilet - never the less, its still neat and clean. The location is - as always - my preference, very serene and quiet, and recommended for people who likes privacy. Food has always been great - tasty and comes in Huge! servings too. SirRey (the manager) and Arild (the owner) was just easy to bargain with, as we initially reserved the room for 6 persons, and last minute one of the group backed out - they generously gave us a discount after notified them, which was just great. It was my second stay in a couple of years and still by my opinion - CK-Inn for anyone who wants a hassle-free vacation at Caramoan, service is what differentiates them! Be ware of the rainy season though, waves can reach up to like 10ft high. :)

Staying here gave us an opportunity for great adventures like kayaking. They have an excellent tour guide. We stayed at room 1 on the second floor and it was comfortable. We like the view from the window looking out to the trees. It's peaceful. Their terrace is a nice place to have lunch and relax. The dinner by the shore was the most memorable for us. Having great tasting dinner, 3 lit torches in front of us, a full moon, the sound of the gentle waves, the crisp fresh breeze, the stars up in the sky... perfect night. The food was fantastic and abundant. We stayed for only 3 nights but we wish we had stayed for 10 nights!

My friends and I (there were three of us) rented room 6 during our stay at this wonderful place for 4D/3N and we thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay there! We were surrounded by beautiful islands, blue waters and best of all, the best service from the most hospitable people ever! Read more below; this review is very long and that is because I just want to share our lovely Caramoan experience we've had because of this place! At first glance, CK Inn may not appear as nice as the other inns in the island (looks can be deceiving after all), but I'm telling you that it offers the best tours and services in Caramoan for a very affordable price! After 13+hours of grueling travel, we arrived at Guijalo Port at around 10:00am. Kuya Harvey, our guide was already there 1 hour before we even got down from the lantsa. He was very attentive to our needs and didn't even want us to walk too much! As soon as we got down from the lantsa (from Sabang Port), we rode another smaller boat for around 5 minutes in order to reach CK-Inn. CK- Inn is the only accommodation at Caramoan near Guijalo Port. All of the other inns (well, as far as I've seen during our stay there) are at least 40 more minutes away by tricycle from Guijalo Port since most inns are nearer to the town proper and/or Bikal Port. What I love about CK Inn is that it is a very private place. We were lucky because during our stay, our group was the only renting a place at CK Inn! Anyway, here are some descriptions: ROOMS: Our room is room 6, which is located in the building nearest to the beach. It has two beds; one single bed and one queen-sized bed, which is enough to fit us all three. The room itself is very spartan. There's only the 2 beds, a chair, a table and the aircon. There's no cabinet/closet and mirror, but it is very clean and comfortable! The washroom isn't inside the room, but it is near the eating area. Outside of the bedroom, there is a common area where there's cable TV and the room next to that one is the dining room. FOOD: all of our meals were prepared by CK- Inn and they offer generous servings of very delicious meals. We were able to eat Lapu- Lapu, Maya- Maya, Alimango (seasonal), binagoongan, daing, fried chicken, porkchop, etc. If you are allergic to any type of food, it is wise to advise your guide as soon as possible. After all, there are no stores near CK-Inn; you'll have to ride a boat then a tricycle to reach the town proper! TOURS: Kuya Harvey arranged our itinerary and we were very happy with his arrangements! He always makes sure that we stay at an island where we are the only ones who are there-- for instance, if he sees that there are already boats in the islands, he will suggest another place for us to go to. Kuya Harvey pampered us in every way! He always assisted us in riding the boat, in taking care of our things (yes, he is very trustworthy), in preparing a rest area, in fixing our lunch and in taking our photos (he is a really good photographer!) Best of all, I think that the best feature of CK-INN are their Kayaks as hinted by their name! As far as I know, they are the only inn who rents out kayaks. Other tourists were so envious of us when they saw that we had kayaks! SERVICE: No doubt, CK-Inn has really good service 100%. From the moment that we wake up until we sleep, they continually pampered us. Imagine, Kuya Harvey & co. even allowed us to use their knees as foothold when we went snorkeling and we had a hard time getting back on the boat! Also, they always set up a campfire and the Survivor- like torches at night near the beach so that we can do stargazing. They are simply the best! In short, if you want to have a great time at Caramoan, stay here! Imagine, we only payed 6,150.00 per person (without fares) for 4D/3N and we had the time of our lives! But, do remember to give tips to the boatmen and to your friendly tour guide also! =) Here are just some things that you might want to take note of: No mirror, no closet/ cabinet, far from town proper and at night (around 7PM), sometimes the power fluctuates. We WILL definitely come back!

We rented kayaks for a 3/2 trip. Got picked up at the port at time, when we arrived the kayaks was ready, we had a good lunch, and a brief about the island, and off we went! Good quality of kayaks, tents, sleeping bags. Highly recommendable. Good job CK Inn

I visited Caramoan with my family weeks ago and stayed here in CK-Inn. The inn offers a decent and comfortable place to stay, they offer food that showcases what the place has to offer (instead of fancy, so-metro meals) and in HUGE serving quantities! Dining was the next big thing next the tour itself. Kayaks were also brought during our tour so that's kayak-all-you-can with no extra charge. The inn staff are courteous and hospitable, the owners (Arild & Gigi), who happened to be there for a short vacation since both are based in Sweden, are very hands-on. Their place has plenty of room for improvements. Currently, they just have the 2-storey building where the rooms are and the native hut as dining area. Some houses are also in the area which I guess are used by the staff and relatives of the owners (it's a sort of family-run business). Don't expect (yet) a resort-type of environment, just imagine you're staying on someone's remote beach-side home. According to the owners, they are planning to build new structures (ie rooms, bar, dining area) late 2012 to continuously improve their service. I am definitely looking forward to this! Visiting Caramoan through CK-Inn is all worth it!

Stayed in room1, bed was comfortable so as the imported pillows! AC with cable TV, toilet is seperate from shower(shared with room2), both are very clean and overall; acommodation was great. In the evening though, always make sure to leave the door closed, as the rooms provide an attraction for stinking insects from the surrounding bushes and expect power outages as this is usual in Caramoan. Tasty food will be served, an assortment of usual Filipino lunch, breakfast and dinner. Tour guide (Kuya Rene) pursued us to take time for every activity, and also was very kind to take care of your needs specially when going around town and buying things for you, as the Inn is located near the beach about 15 mins from the town proper. As from all the packages that I've seen they're the only ones who offer Kayaking(so don't be surprised when other tourists ask you for renting the kayaks), so while being not the cheapest you may find, its really worth it, plus the gears you will be using are not really cheap(specifically the life vests unlike with other offerings). Last words: BIG BANGS for your bucks! Really recommended. Looking forward to staying here again. :)

the travel we had was too long and we have no expectation whatsoever in our minds, but to be honest the experience was all worth it...the place as i thought at first was directly nearby the shore, but was not..it was not a typical place we used to stay in our provinces so to speak..CK Inn is one of a kind and isolated unique ambiance where sorroundings are very normal basic..very natural! The Island hopping we had for the last 2 days was SUPERB...we wowed the natures secret places..TINAGO Beach is very SOLEMN..so CALM and QUITE...it's like you are the only people living that place..Truly Refreshing! GOTA Island was amazing place, very beautiful...really WOW!!! to sum up all..quality time spend at CARAMOAN - CK Inn with my family is WORTWHILE!!! thanks to the hospitality extended by Mr. Rey and Mr. Arild..God Bless You!!!
