Just an amazing place, literally your own private island! Brian the host was amazing and his wife cooked delicious traditional food. The bungalows are surrounded by beautiful rock formations and the coral on front of the resort is magnificent. Hidden beach is only a 10 min kayak next door and is heaven on earth.

A truly amazing experience, only 3 tree houses with fully functioning facilities. Great views, great food and drinks provided by Brian and the team. Chill out on the private beach, go snorkelling or kayak over to close by beaches. So many options for an amazing experience

I was there for a week and I wish I could have stay longer since this place is literally a paradise on earth. The bungalow are nice and comfortable and we can eat delicious traditional meals. Best place to chill and get away of touristic spot. The beach is great, perfect place for snorkeling the water is amazing. I definitely want to go back and recommend that place.

First of all let me tell you how disappointed I am wasting good time on writing to you to explain of my experience. My wife and I both come from the service industry in our own businesses in Australia (Melbourne) should any of our clients of had the experience we had we would have already dealt with this fairly and honestly without delay. We paid in full 11750 pesos per night in full to Henna and your company. $317.90 Aus dollars this was to be inclusive of all meals on the island. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. No menu was provided as we were told of traditional Philippine cooking infact we read about Bryan and his wife and were confident the meals would be fine. All cutlery and crockery was washed in salt water not fresh water you can't expect hygiene If you do not treat the water used for washing dishes" -- Incredibly bad idea. What is the point of purifying water to drink if you are going to contaminate everything else? No cool drinking water only on day 1 we were offered ice cool water this is a very basic requirement given the intense heat on the island. Then this brings me to the point of food Omg this is essential. The kitchen from which the food came from was unacceptable. Perishable food should be kept at 40 degrees or colder. Most coolers or ice chests are not reliably that cold and you should not try to keep food as long in the cooler as you do at home in a refrigerator. These are fairly basic requirements for food as minimum. Arnaud not to mention we were given very basic food this food was not sustainable for anyone with a western diet. Especially not at the price we paid which far exceeded the booking.com prices loaded on the website. The room advertised as a large king size room with wifi (no wifi). The net covering our bed stank of dust and had not been washed for months. No change of linen the second night. No amenities in the room such as the basics of water and or coffee and tea. During the second day I fell I'll during the night and I had no fresh drinking water or the ability to make a cup of green tea to settle my stomach. The battery in our room had given way which is typical after a few years however left us with no ventilation for a few 3 hours. Mains are only on saltwater a bucket provision for clean water in the corner of our room to wash salt off the body was acceptable given the circumstances however this was not topped up on the second day. Given the length of our stay this was unacceptable. Arnaud we are talking about very basic requirements which I feel are crucial to the enjoyment of this type of holiday. On top of that conditions were so bad we have now had to come back to the mainland to complete the rest of our holiday which has been incredibly sad and pay for a further weeks accommodation given we had to leave you. What we would appreciate is 58750 pesos refunded for the 5 days we did not stay plus the 4000 for early checkout and transfer to the airport less the 1480 pesos consumed drinks and beverages being a total amount 61270 refunded to our account as soon as possible to avoid further discussions of a very unpleasant experience. My wife has since been to the local doctor in El Nido of which it was noted as having very bad food poisoning. Please establish good faith and avoid further discussions in resolving this matter urgently. Regards Francesco Martini

You are literally in the middle of nowhere. They offer something expensive that is not real is an island full of mosquitoes and needs is not a resort. there is no drinking water, they do not give food to the dogs and they are tied up. They do not say anything to go prepared and take food or necessary things the service in very bad the truth was the worst of my trip and I went with a group of friends

A beautiful peaceful private beach. We were very well looked after by the delightful staff. If everyone could come and stay in this paradise the world would be a better place. Go you must see for yourself.

Wonderful spot. Really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (you kind of are - although it's 40 minutes from El Nido by boat). There is a Coral Reef just off the beach. The Hidden Beach in reach by a short kayak (which is provided). The tree houses are simple but beautiful. Brian and his assistants cooked simply and delicious food, breakfast lunch and dinner were all delicious. Be prepared for the mosquitos!

This was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines. We stayed 4 nights (5 days) in this desert beach which is located just next to the Hidden Beach (we kayaked there, less than 10min each way). We felt like we were inside a postcard, the views are breath taking, the food is amazing with fish that was caught on the day (they cook really well) and because the beach was only ours for 3 (out of 4) nights, the staff were more like friends by the end. We had massive fun with them, even played traditional card games with them.
The beach itself is amazing, I went snorkelling 2 times with one of the staff there and he was always with me (making me feel safe, as I don’t know the currents there), and acted as a very good snorkelling guide pointing out interesting fish, taking a sea urchin out of the rocks for me to see, and even showing me a resident turtle which went past us swimming. Another one of the guys took me on a small tour from there to hidden beach over rocks (on low tide), which was also quite nice and “adventurous”. He took my camera on his hand and took lots of nice photographs.
During our stay, we would highlight:
- Seeing the moonrise every night, while having dinner on the beach, listening to the waves. Simply amazing, and super romantic - Reading sitting on our balcony - The food… great quality, all super fresh, and even breakfast was amazing. We had mango every day, and they have skills on picking them, as they were always spot on - Private tour they arranged for us was really good - Seeing sea urchin, a turtle swimming, loads and loads of different fish. In land, saw a lizard (once, passing by the beach, but then got scared and ran away ) and fireflies. - The staff… they are absolutely amazing, and will do everything to improve your experience there.
Must Take:
- Beach shoes, dry bag - Recommend you take your snorkelling kit (they have only 2, but on the plus side you can borrow for free)

Stayed in this tiny paradise 2 nights. It was just great. By chance I was the only guest. The view from the traditional tree-House was spectacular, especially as you can see sunrise directly from your bed. The brilliant team of Brian looked after me carefully, cooked delicious food and took me on a private island hopping. It was a fantastic finish of a 5.5 week vacation.

Fits perfectly well for my lifestyle and dream vacation. As a sports enthusiast, I enjoyed every moment in the water diving, swimming and enjoying the privacy of the place. Food was very good , too! Fresh fish, the chicken was amazing, and always paired with vegetables and fruits. :) The room was stunning with half indoors, half outdoors feel and of course the sunrise saying hello to start our day. :) i usually have a bit of trouble sleeping when I'm in a new place but it wasn't an issue in Shante Island. Totally regained my energy in the 3 days/2 nights stay. Definitely recommending this place.
