5 Couples visited for a few days. Booked 2 Cottages and a 1 bedroom. All Rooms were excellent. The layout of the Lodges are ideal for 2 couples sharing. Nice wine selection in the rooms to purchase. Nice self cook breakfast in the fridge. Had a wine tasting for 10. Excellent!! 2 Beautiful dinners. One in the private Library which was special. The other in the Restaurant. Both were top class. We will be back. An excellent all round experience.

Enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting here followed by a delicious artisan platter. Lovely walk around the vineyard afterwards. Purchase wine and get the cost of the wine tasting knocked off the bill. Recommended

We were upgraded to a cottage. The continental breakfast provided was magnificent. Loved every bit of our stay. Would give the whole experience a 10/10. Food at the restaurant outstanding and the service immaculate. We will be back.

Very well appointed cottage, with beautiful views of Te Mata Peak. Weather was a little chilly in the evenings so great to have a fire with an ample supply of firewood. Beautiful breakfast provided. Beautiful bed linen and furnishings.

The setting is stunning, and accomodation faultless, to the smallest detail. The whole experience…..friendly and relaxed welcome, wine tasting, meal etc. all combined to make this a memorable experience of a very high standard. The villas are located amongst the rows of vines, we’ll set apart from other villas, and ideal to share with another couple, with adequate privacy and own ensuite, making them extremely affordable, for the high level of quality accomodation … altogether a very satisfying experience

Absolutely amazing stay! We were in a 1 bedroom vineyard cottage which had all the modern amenities. A great sized bedroom and huge ensuite, and the kitchen/living area was excellent too with a nice fire place to use in the evenings while enjoying a beautiful red wine. Would definitely recommend and we’ll certainly be returning again.

Craggy Range is a stunning property. We stayed 4 nights in one of the cottages. Everything was superb - accommodation, wine tasting (best we have ever experienced), restaurant and all the grounds are presented beautifully. Couldn’t have wished for more.

From the time we drove in & down the Entrance toward the Reception area we already felt it a very special unique experience , we met Michael & straight away he was very welcoming , informative & personable ...how you wish to be received , we where offered a sample of wine on our arrival as our accommodation wasn't quite ready as we where very early , we stayed in the Rose' Cottage , it was absolutely immaculate well equipped including a stunning backdrop to the hills /mountains , a cozy intimate layout with the fireplace , we then proceeded to the wine tour /Tasting with Augustina who was extremely passionate , informative with great detail of how / where & why every wine came to be , welcomes continued into dinner , again a very intimate setting with plenty of choice on the food & wine menu , thankyou Tom who looked after us for the evening keeping our glasses topped & plates full of a beautiful selection of top quality fresh menu choices , Victoria handled our departure & again she was very personable & chatty , it certainly shows when you have spectacular location & a Grand property with attention to every detail , a great Team that obviously enjoy their work .. we didn't want to leave & would recommend that you spoil yourselves & book this Lovely venue , personally we thought it was fantastic value , well worth the drive to enjoy being treated extremely special , thankyou Craggy Range

Our family stayed in a 2 bedroom River View Cottage. Excellent accommodation. Great beds, two bathrooms, very generous supplies for breakfast. The complimentary bottle of wine was from 2011, not last weeks bottling. It rained for all 3 days, but the Cottage was warm and very comfortable. Complimentary wine tasting followed by dinner in the restaurant. Restaurant one of my favourites in Hawkes Bay and once again it was wonderful. We will definitely be back. Well done Craggy Range.

We stayed in a two-bedroom Craggy Range River View Cottage - it was OUTSTANDING. Plenty of space, huge ensuites, great privacy, the breakfast provisions were absolutely A-MAZ-ING. All in all we had a very comfortable, enjoyable and special few days at Craggy and would return again in a heart-beat. All staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming - thank you team Craggy Range - will not forget out stay.
