We were in summerside for a hockey tournament. The team booked at The Loyalist Country Inn. It was dated but clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Walmart, Sobeys and restaurants were all within a five minutes drive. Lots of summer activity right along the

Overall a great experience. Sauna needs an update and room service issues...but otherwise a great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Summerside and it was very close to everything. The bus shuttle to the concert was an added bonus

Pool was a little cold for this time of year. With 2 hockey teams in the hotel, an adult only swim for an hour in the evening would be nice.Hotel is dated, but very clean. Staff is friendly and price was good.

I stayed there for one night in a king room. Maybe the best bed ever. Dinner and breakfast were fine in the in-house restaurant but the selection was limited. The server at breakfast created a great classic rock playlist that was playing softly on the PA. Never heard

Thank you for your feedback. We fully appreciate your assessment of some of the fixtures and furniture. We're happy to say we're literally days away from beginning a complete makeover of our guestrooms and some of our public spaces. We appreciate your comments on our F&B selections also in Iron & Salt our dining area.

Various stains on the floor, but the room looked clean, carpet needs a good cleaning.
This was the "Can hold two people" jacuzzi. It was just a bath shell with jets.
The bed was so tall, I had to call and ask for a step to get in. Not very romantic.

You do not pay to go onto PEI, you only pay to leave PEI. The best way to do it if you want to do the ferry is to go across to PEI on the ferry and then leave on the Confederation Bridge. It is much cheaper that way. I believe that you only pay for the vehicle and not passengers, and I think that it is $45.50. Hope that this helps! The ferry is a fun trip.

"Get the water view, was relaxing"
"Make sure your on the air conditioned side facing the harbour."
"4th floor rooms seem bigger and brighter, quiet except for party next door 1 night, handled in 5 minutes and quiet for rest of stay"
"Some rooms have a view of the harbour."
