We had the pleasure of staying at the Pantages Hotel for one night on Jan. 10th and we were so impressed by the hotel and Pella, the front desk employee that was so wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Steps away from the Eaton Centre and the vibrant downtown core. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The suite came equipped with a washer and dryer, a beautiful kitchen with plates, cups, cutlery, a coffee machine with coffee pods, a fridge, stove and microwave. There was even dish soap and a laundry pod! The living room had a huge tv that was at least 65" and the bedroom also had a tv that was probably 55". The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was plush and cozy. We totally felt pampered! However, what made our experience absolutely perfect was dealing with Pella. She greeted us with such warmth and kindness. She is a truly wonderful person! This was probably the nicest front desk person I have ever encountered and we really appreciated her kindness!

First impressions of Pantages were “it will do” , the roadworks out side do not add to the kerb appeal, and the entrance is very much understated. Once inside we were met by Paul and Diane whose cheery welcome raised our spirits, and a smooth check in led us to our rooms We were surprised that we had small apartments that were superbly kitted out with everything you need for a long stay, pity it was just two nights. The rooms had floor to ceiling glass in some areas giving extensive views of the area, a large bedroom had ample storage and a big television, there is a separate kitchen and dining area fully equipped, and a washer dryer in a cupboard. The bathroom has a top end shower and fittings and the water is hot and plentiful. The bar downstairs is small and friendly with all of the staff approachable and friendly. Although it was only two nights, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

Beautiful property with perfect access to shopping and restaurants. We visit Toronto twice a year for several years now, stayed in different hotels around the area and i must say our stay in Pantages Hotel has been the best so far with outstanding staff and great service being the highlight. Both Diane and Colleen at the front desk were outstanding, friendly, helpful and professional. Colleen anticipated our unspoken needs and went on extra mile with our reservation which definitely made our stay memorable. I am very pleased with our stay. Our suite is neat as a pin, spacious, chic, cozy and has everything we needed and even more ~ comfortable king bed and sofa bed, high quality linens, toiletries, towels and bath robes plus it has a kitchen with a dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, full size fridge and a 6 sitter dining table. Diane is equally accommodating and attentive, she made sure that my request was taken care of which made me go through my day without worries. ☺️

We had a great 10 day stay at this hotel. The geographical location is just perfect for visiting Toronto on foot (we only took the metro once to go to Casa Loma, all other points of interest such as museums, theaters or attractions are doable on foot, not to mention that you are literally at the foot of the Eaton Centre). The view from the 17th floor where our room was was breathtaking. Cleaning is done on request, which we found very "sustainable" (do you really need to change sheets and towels every day? but it can be done if requested). We had a washer and dryer in the room, which was very practical for lightening the suitcases by bringing fewer clothes. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, since there are plenty of options everywhere around (pancakes!). On the other hand, we had dinner there 3 times, it was good, refined and the waiter really took care of us, with a big smile. Overall, all the hotel staff were extremely kind and attentive, from reception to cleaning staff. Special mention for Pella at reception, who gave our child tricks and treats for Halloween, helped us with the wifi, gave us good tips, she's a gem!

Stayed at Pantages for two weeks from 23 February. This was our second time in Toronto and first stay at the Pantages Hotel. This location is excellent and central for all tourist attractions. We walked to CN tower, scotiabank arena, the harbour, Royal Ontario Museum and the Eaton centre is one block away. The hotel is opposite St Michael’s Hospital. The hotel is immaculate and we had a slight issue with our premium king room but as soon as we highlighted the issue on day 2 it was immediately rectified by Diane the receptionist and Paul the manager. We then stayed in a city view king room on the 15 th floor! Great view and brilliant room. Mattress was a little softer for my husband but the space in the room and walk in shower was excellent, especially when this was a 2 week break. Great air con/heating control and the window does open up and has a mesh screen so this was ideal. If you want a bath book the premium king as this has a bath and separate smaller shower, personally I am glad Paul moved us as the city view room shower was double the size. Special thanks to Lily from housekeeping for being so friendly. Gym is on the fourth floor, the equipment needs updating as some machines were not working. Sufficient space for working out if gym isn’t busy. This place is a short walk to Sun set grill where we had amazing breakfasts!!! We would return to this hotel as the location and staff alone deserve 5 stars. Hope to return in the future, thanks Diane and Paul!

Clean, large room with delightful bed sheets and pillows. 4x pillows, super clean. Room included a kitchenette. Front desk can be called for room cleaning, pots and pans, extra towels. Two bath towels, two hand towels, two washcloths were provided -- plenty for a two night solo stay. I enjoyed the 16th floor view of the city. Hotel bar/restaurant is open for breakfast (good), drinks at dinner (great). There is no lunch service.

My husband just had ankle replacement surgery at St. Michaels hospital so this was the perfect location to spend night after his surgery. Pella at the front desk is amazing at her job and so sweet and accommodating...she put us in a room with a small kitchenette so we could make Keurig coffee in the morning. I bought bagels she had a toaster delivered to our room. Also provided early check in which was so nice instead of waiting at hospital for 6 hours...the room was clean and comfortable...all the staff are great so helpful but Pella is outstanding she goes over and above

This is a very lovely hotel that has obviously had some updates. Like many of the hotels they took advantage of the reduced amount of guests during covid to tastefully update the hotel. They did a lovely job. A long overdue sister's weekend was planned and the Pantages location was in the ideal spot, close to the venues we were attending. Check in was a breeze and Ron and Paul made us feel comfortable and welcome. Adie escorted us and our luggage to our room and after unloading the cart went to grab ice and the kitchen staples to stock our kitchen. He made sure we had everything we needed before he left. Our room was modern, and very comfortable. The beds were wonderful and comfortable beyond belief. You can tell that it is well taken care of.. There was a wall to wall window Not surprisingly had two windows in it that opened to allow for fresh a ir. We settled in We'd come to Toronto to go see my sister's favourite band Kansas at Massey Hall. Pantages is mere steps from Massey Hall and less than a minute away. I ove Honey a Big thank you for charging my phone because I forgot my charging cable. She was able to make sure it was charged before the concert so I could get some wonderful pictures. We decided to spend an additional night and purchase tickets to see Jesus Christ superstar at the Mervish. It was good choice. Often when you extend your stay at the last minute you end up having to move rooms. We were lucky that they made some changes so that we did not have to do that. The next day during checkout we left our bags to go have breakfast and the staff took good care of everything. We really enjoyed our stay at Pantages and I'm planning our next one as I write this. All the staff that we came into contact with were wonderful. They were helpful, professional, and genuine. They are all huge assets to Pantages And I'm thankful for their help and their ability to answer our questions and make us feel welcome.

My friends took me to Toronto for an appointment at St. Michaels Hospital for an appointment and we booked at the Pantage, it's great for location being just across the street basically from the hospital so I had little distance to walk. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable and roomy, we booked a room with the kitchenette which is great with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. We didn't need all these amenities, however, they are nice to have. The beds are comfortable and the room is a nice size. The only problem I have is the restaurant, food is good but expensive for their serving sizes, my friend referred to their dinner as a Michelinas frozen dinner size, tasty but very small portion, more like a child's portion. I will still continue to book at Pantages as their hotel is great, I just will eat at another establishment.

Conveniently located, the hotel has spacious clean rooms with very comfy beds. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, with the front desk staff going out of their way to help you. I would suggest light sleepers bring ear plugs as the central location also means you are in a busy area and there is a lot of street noise so you will hear some throughout the night. We were on the 11th floor and still heard it. Overall, very happy with this hotel and will stay here again.
