We stayed at this beautiful hotel during February. The weather was bitterly cold but yet it was cosy, warm and comfortable inside. Though we booked a standard room we were upgraded to a deluxe room at no extra charge. All members of staff were friendly and helpful. A huge advantage to us was its proximity to the subway station. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to Toronto.

My family and I decided to try out this hotel when we stayed in Toronto for an event. All of the employees were absolutely lovely from the front desk to the spa. I had asked if they could find me a town car for a ride and they called one, got me a price estimate and called it up to me in my room. Though the car service itself wasn't great, the front desk workers were kind with making the booking and letting me know when the car had arrived. The establishment felt regal from the moment we walked in due to the well styled lobby. The bar was easy to locate as were the rooms. Incredibly quiet hotel, in the best way. I felt like I was alone most of the time which was a nice treat in comparison to some hotels. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi tub was a little older but still very functional. I booked spa services two weeks in advance and I'm glad I did because when I was there, it was quite busy so I imagine they book up quickly! Definitely worth the trip just to go to the spa. The day I went in, the salt chamber wasn't working and they called to let me know in advance which was very nice. They were very accommodating and kind. Very clean spa, wonderful aromas. I loved all the aspects of the room and spa services. My issues lie in the cost of everything. For breakfast currently, they are only serving food from a small room service menu. The options were fine, but they were quite expensive, as was the coffee. From what we saw in the room, even the Nespresso machine coffee cost money. It felt as though there was very little offered that was complimentary. Further, the dinner room service menu offered an eclectic variety of foods which were, again, quite expensive and not quite to my taste so I would most likely get food elsewhere next time. It is nice that they offered parking but with it being in a parking garage across the street, I advise caution when going to drop off and retrieve your car.

The Old Mill Hotel is attached to the Old Mill events center, which hosts many weddings and corporate events, etc. This review is only about the hotel, which is an attached by separately owned property. Rooms are very nice and fairly large. We had a King Suite with a spacious bedroom, a very spacious living room, and a very large bathroom. Decor was in line with an old mill, not modern style, very comfortable but not in all cases luxurious. Although they maintain the hotel well, some of the furnishings were older in style. The location of the hotel is interesting, it's sort of an oasis of rustic elegance, modern Toronto is just steps away but you don't really see it right away. In fact, there is a subway station less than 5 minutes walk away, but again, you don't see it. Note that the hotel, while very comfy, has a small bar and room service for breakfast and dinner, but no real restaurant (though there is one next door) and the area is not really walkable in that there are not things tourists would want (food, entertainment, shopping) without driving or taking the subway. But, if you have a car, that drive is 5-10 minutes tops). There is a (pricey) spa and a gym, but little else. Good service and beautiful surropundings.

For >$500 US dollars per day this hotel primarily capitalizes on it’s location. Quaint with a curbside appeal. The rooms are very basic with minimal amenities. Pillows and hairdryers need updating. The entire place is just dark with poor lighting. Commode is in a corner and the door opens up into the eating/seating area. We ordered breakfast a couple of times and specified vegetarian omelette which came both times with just sautéed onions and we were told they were out of vegetables. So we just started ordering from Uber eats. On our last night (6th day), we took the chance of ordering dinner and was thoroughly disappointed. The owner needs to really address this. Incorrect menu in the room with the wrong QR code, drinks are not covered ( open to air) when delivered to the room, pasta was inedible, pizza was mediocre. Parking is across the the street in an underground area, no valet. Blind spots to get run over with traffic from both sides getting to the parking. I was traveling with my 72 year old mother. People working at the hotel are extremely pleasant and try their best to assist, however upper management really needs to re-evaluate and update current necessities or drop the prices.

Hello, We are disappointed, our Reservation made several months in advance to spend two nights, has been shortened at the Pension's request to one night. Admittedly, the decor is there, pretty and old-fashioned at will, comfort of the bedding indisputable and very nice rooms, but... the Inn restaurant is sincerely Awarded and not at all up to the standard of a 4 star Inn. Breakfast table service is not possible in the dining room and the restaurant is closed. The only possibility being to order breakfast in the room: for 30 dollars per person, you have the right to a smoothie, 2 mini stale chocolate breads and a croissant (good this one)... In short, go your way.

Initial frustration as renovations occurring & no notice or directions stating the entrance was a few 100 meters down the hill. Only accommodations for breakfast were in-room service, which we were not informed of upon arrival. We had in-room service once & cost was expensive. Staff were responsive & and accommodating, though. For example a kettle was supplied quickly upon request & breakfast suggestions were provided when we asked. Great location, close to the Humber River & subway station.

Completely Pointless!! It took 6 pairs(12) of key cards and we still could NOT freely get into our "Luxury" room without a trip to the front desk!!. They used a master key to let us in. Not a one off from what we hear of this hotel. It's old technology and they have not updated it!! The point of a hotel room is to go and come freely not have to check in every time we have to get back into the room. The decor included faded curtains along with the same faded fabric on the headboard; rounding that out with old and tired looking carpeting. The heating in the room droned on so loudly that we were awake most of the night. The "spa" tub was not clean and we saw dirt float up once it was filled. We both agreed to shower once we got home. Thankfully we were booked in for one night only. We requested to speak to the manager NUMEROUS TIMES but with no resolve. This included the Calls after our stay that went unanswered. It has been exactly a week since we were there and this is a heads up to people considering this hotel. If you are looking for a valuable experience that is memorable in a good way the stay somewhere else.

Charming and beautiful hotel with a great location. Even though it is a little further from downtown, it was really easy to get the subway in from the green and yellow lines, and easy to get to and from the airport. The area is quiet, but the hotel is round the corner to the subway and bus station, and you can walk or take the subway along the green line along Bloor St West to restaurants (Jane, Runnymede, High Park or Ossington stations).
Our room was spacious and comfortable, and included everything you would need in a hotel room (coffee machine, hairdryer, toiletries etc). We slept well and would definitely be back if we visited Toronto again. Highly recommended!

Staff are great and the room and cleanliness are no problem however the recent changes in management have resulted in a continuing decline in service and a continuing increase in prices. The bar hours continue to shrink, you can't get anything to eat most times without ordering very expensive room service, you can no longer park across the street, and getting an emailed receipt for you stay takes two or three calls. And don't both asking for a late checkout, they say yes, no problem, and then they lock you out of your room! A newspaper delivered to your door is a thing of the past. After 20 years of going to the Old MIll it's time to shop around.

Amazing property very close to the Old Mill subway (so easy access to downtown) and a short walk to the lovely Blood West Village, which I thought was one of the nicest neighborhood commercial areas in Toronto. So lots of food choices very close by. The Humber River walk is just down the hill and feels like you aren't in the city. In addition, the beds were comfortable (very important1), not too soft (soft beds hurt my back) and the pillows were not super fat either. So it was a good night's sleep in addition to giving the feeling that you're in the country. A great choice in Toronto.

Yes, there is parking across from the Old Mill. There is an area west of the restaurant by the chapel where cars can load and unload and by the hotel area, the same.
Hope this helps.
I would suggest Uber.....they are cheaper and you can get from regular cars to extravagant cars...plus they are very fast when requesting pick up....you would need to download the AP first.
There are more places to choose from in the Toronto area.
