Stayed the night of 12/28 (writing this from the room) as we have an early flight to catch. Arrived at 3 pm and our room was ready, however, we had booked a room (24 hours before arrival) with Club Lounge access and upon arrival, we were told the lounge is closed Dec 23-Jan 2 as they're not busy enough for it to be open. Maybe don't offer that rate on your website, in that case? The front desk gave us $40 off since we were leaving at 4 am and would not be able to partake in the breakfast included with the lounge rate. We booked the lounge rate so we could enjoy included non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the lounge, which we obviously didn't get since the lounge was closed. It would have been nice if we were offered free n/a drinks from the restaurant to make up for that; instead I paid $3 for a glass of watered down fountain pop that was half full of ice. Anyway. the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The safe didn't work (we didn't bother having it fixed as we had our passports/valuables on us), nor did one of the bedside lamps, and the coffee maker was missing the basket to insert the actual coffee in to. Not what I wanted to find out at 3 am. Good water pressure in the shower, however the body wash and hand soap was some of the worst smelling I've ever used (smells like poultry seasoning). Free wifi was quite fast. The shining star here is the restaurant, where the food was actually quite good and very reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Pearson that runs every 15 minutes from 3:45 am to 2 am so hopefully it's running on time as I'd like to get out of here so I can get a coffee!

As I write this, my husband and I sit in our cozy One Bedroom Suite awaiting to grab the complimentary shuttle to Pearson airport to fly out for our upcoming Celebrity Cruise!!

We absolutely love this hotel and for a few reasons: the location, the use, ease and access of the complimentary shuttle to Pearson, to the staff and there are many mentions, to the Marriott Beds!

Upon arrival we’re always greeted with a smile, a hello and good conversation with/from Joseph, Valet-Concierge. To the front desk staff, with whom have always been kind, and welcoming whether when I call in or upon arrival, Sarah and most recently and with whom checked us in yesterday afternoon - Sabrina!! We arrived early, 330pm and Sabrina advised us that the room was not quite ready and that she would put a call in to have it assessed and once completed, she would personally deliver the room keys to us, in the Club M Lounge. As Platinum Elite, or higher or if part of your booking, get access too. The minute I received “your room is ready” notification, Sabrina was almost in front of us handing us our room keys, in Club M lounge. Talk about exceptional service.

I reserved a basic room on government rate, and as a Platinum Elite Bonvoy member used one of my Nightly Upgrade Rewards, awarding us the 1 bedroom Suite; one of the other perks of being Platinum Elite is an offering by Marriott Bonvoy of 1 of 5 options for annual choice gift. I chose, 5 Night Upgrade Rewards. This was formerly called “Suite night rewards.” I, not unlike many, commented about its name, when asked by, and about Marriott Bonvoy program as, one wasn’t necessarily offered “suite” upgrades. It appeared deceiving, as its offering is, “from” premium room to “Suite” and not just “Suites.”
Always, when at this hotel we much prefer either the Executive Larger King bed Suite or the 1 bedroom King Suite. Sure most of the rooms are in need of updating but the staff more than make up for it.

The staff make our stay exceptional making it feel like our home away from home.

In the Club M Lounge, Silvie is much like family always welcoming with a hug, a smile and genuine care and conversation about life. She’s a gem 💎

To the housekeeping staff, Cynthia with whom provided me with thee best deep sleep pillow spray, as it truly works, for me! Anything one asks for, is always provided with a smile, expediency and genuine care!!

This has been our preferred airport hotel for years, and for reasons mentioned above. We’re reserved for our return, Feb. 19th and although I have not applied a Nightly Upgrade Reward, I’m positive 🫶 the staff will make sure our stay is exceptional and maybe just maybe as requested place us in one of our preferred rooms - Executive King Bedroom suite or the one we’re in now, 1 bedroom Suite!

Reserve!! And, for the staff! It’s our home away from home.

I've stayed at this hotel before, but it's been awhile. The main reason for choosing to stay here again is the Park N Fly option they offer, which is reasonable and includes an underground garage. Many surrounding hotels only offer outdoor parking, which I wouldn't trust with my vehicle in Toronto these days. The only slightly awkward part is it's two different elevators to get to the garage and even then it doesn't go to all the parking floors.

The check in was quick and when I mentioned I would be away for a couple of extra days past the week, the staff person was happy to add the additional parking at no charge. You need to use your key to get to your hotel floor, which is a good security measure.

The room is basic, but the bed was comfortable, the TV worked fine and there was a safe and small fridge. The shower worked well and there wasn't too much noise, either from planes or other guests.

The shuttle to the airport was busy at 5:30 am, but came on time and took 5 minutes to get to the airport. We had a late night return past midnight on the way home, but the shuttle was still running and got us back to the hotel quickly.

A group of us stayed over night here. Quick, comfortable. The restaurant chef and staff was amazing. They went above and beyond for one of us with a nut/seafood allergy. Chef changed out the deep fry oil to make sure there was no cross contamination. Thank you!

Three of us were sharing your room for a conference. I was the youngest so I agreed to take the sofa bed. Even though three people were on the reservation, they didn’t make up the sofa bed, nor did they even leave sheets or blankets for it. I called the desk and they said they’d send up right away, but I waited over an hour. The sofa bed mattress was so bad. I felt like it must’ve been at least 20 to 30 years old. There were springs directly in the mattress which poked into me and creaked every time I moved. My back is absolutely wrecked. I’ve never had these problems on a hotel bed- I am really not picky. Because Taylor Swift was in town we paid $1600 for two double beds and one sofa bed for two nights. For that kind of money I really feel like I should’ve had a good nights rest and not left with horrible pain. So very disappointed in my stay. Management- you should be looking at your sofa beds. If you wouldn’t sleep on it, replace them!!

I don't often leave reviews especially if it is a business night stay because really it is just a place for me to sleep. I was impressed when I entered the room as saw the tv remote in its own sealed bag and cleaning wipe with it and I must say the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are dated but I understand that renovations cost a lot of money and if things are kept up, they usually look just fine.
My issue really came to light when I took my shoes off and started to walk around in me socks. The floor was so dirty it was sticky, I check the bottom of my socks and found what looked to be cereal and chocolate chips stuck to the bottom on them and after 5 minutes in the room my clean grey socks where more of a brownish colour. I should have gone to the front desk right then and addressed the issue, but the lobby was crazy busy and was tired from travelling. I did address it when I checked out, but I think concern was just brushed off.
To the hotel management: As a bonvoy member I do expect a little better service...I am not asking for much, just a clean hotel room...this should be the standard and not the wow factor

We chose this Pension primarily because of its much lower rates than downtown but also because the shuttle bus to Niagara Falls picks up from the Pension. Otherwise comfortable rooms, breakfast extra well. The staff is friendly and professional.

We had a 2 day business trip to Toronto and stayed at the Marriott on July 16th and 17th. My room had an issue with eh AC and it because tremendously hot, when I reported it to reception they said they would send the maintenance guy to have a look. To my surprise, within 5 minutes he was there and on entering my room he said there is a serious problem and he requested a room change. Within 10 minutes of reporting my problem, I was put in another room where the AC worked. I believe the maintenance guys name was Kevin, (sorry if I am wrong) but he was an absolute professional and gentlemen, we need more people like him in the world. Thanks once again Maintenance Man (Kevin)

Stayed 29 Sept, and used Park & Fly. No issues once again. This is our go to Hotel when flying out of YYZ. Staff at the desk are cheerful and helpful. Room was good, a little smaller than last time, but no big deal. Parking is in an underground lot, and there is a security person in a car at the exit. They make rounds I believe every 1/2 hour. It is one of the most secure parking lots in the area.
As to my last review, with regards to shuttle buses. This time we did not have an issue, but I think it was due to being low season for flying south. I still think there should be some sort of order for boarding a shuttle bus. Also it ran every 1/2 hour, in the spring it was every 15min.
We will be back again for our next trip.

2 night stay... Checking in was super fast and very pleasant. I appreciated the suite upgrade based on my Marriott status.

The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious however, it is in need of an update, the decor and furnishings are very outdated. I would have hoped that the hotel would have used the downtime with covid to execute this much needed refresh.

The internet speed was very good but the cable service was very basic with sport channels outnumbering all others by 2-1.

I LOVED the This Works toiletries range. That’s a definite upgrade!

With restaurant closed due to covid, breakfast was grab and go, I’m not a big breakfast person so I was content with an egg sandwich, tea and yoghurt. They could improve by offering fresh whole fruit such as bananas. Service was quick and cheerful.

Hotel did a good job in providing hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel and all employees were wearing masks.

Check out was quick and friendly.

The only reason I wouldn’t come back would be because of the dated rooms.

I did not notice any washing machines or a dryer at this hotel. The front desk offers Laundry and Dry Cleaning services at inflated prices. There are many Dry Cleaners located in Toronto's "Downtown Core", at much more reasonable charges for their service.
