Stayed here for four nights (SA-WE) on a business trip, chasing a cheap rate and some IHG points. I usually stay close to the airport but decided to try out this location and was very happy with how central it was to my appointments all over the GTA.

If you're looking for a newly-renovated or new HIE this is not the place. With that said the room was spotless, the common areas were kept clean (even though I visited during a snowstorm which always leads to a mess on the floors at least), and the breakfast was above average for an HIE. The breakfast room was larger than most and I never had trouble finding parking right in front, two things that drive me crazy at many hotels (nowhere to sit and nowhere to park)!

I would not pay top dollar for this hotel but if you can find it reasonably priced for your stay there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

We were warmly welcomed by hotel clerk behind counter. We asked for room on higher floor and were assigned a room with a king size bed on seventh floor. The window is very small . The certain did not work very well. So, we just kept it closed. The bathroom is brand new and clean. No shower cap was provided though. The food for breakfast was good enough. There were not enough service personals to clean the tables during weekend. We may stay here again for our next trip to the Main campus of York University.

The staff were very kind and professional. We did not wait long at the reception, the service was fast.

The room was clean and tasteful, well decorated. The pillows were divine (I wish I had the same at home), but the mattress was very uncomfortable. It was very (too) soft, I even almost fell out of bed at night. The bathroom was very clean but the shower lacked a lot of water pressure. However, the soundproofing was fine, I heard nothing even though the Pension was very full.

The food at lunch was very good and very fresh. Hats off, it's rare.

Came here for a hockey tournament. Hotel is nice , rooms are nice .. ample parking, easy access to surrounding areas… But then everything else with this property is GARBAGE.. breakfast is worthy of young street peddlers .. pool is OVER dosed with chlorine.. no towels available.. I respect the rules and regulations of the hotel…. But. You can not expect to host MULTIPLE hockey teams from all over the region and not be accommodating to their needs/ requests. I understand you have no liquor license, but that does does not mean that alcohol cannot be consumed in your hotel . Also, if you wish to enforce your “policy” then be consistent. Don’t pick and choose which floors/ areas you’re going to enforce. Your” security guard “ is an absolute joke and needs to find another job. I’m not writing this review out of spite, but more out of respect for future guests that need to know that they are not booking a room for your needs , it’s just for your $$$ . The front desk staff is very robotic ( they’re doing just what they’re told ) and will not accommodate anything. Very disappointing experience

First, I am a normal sized person and the toilet was ridiculously tiny. I don’t want to go into too much detail here but whatever deal this hotel got on undersized toilets does not make for a very comfortable experience for their guests.

Second, all evening there was a guest next to us who had a dog that was barking until about 10:30pm. I absolutely love dogs, but when my Tamil needed sleep after a full days driving it was frustrating to say the least.

Finally, for the breakfast that was included we went down four times during the course of the serving time and each time the bacon and potatoes were empty. Four times. We gave up and went to Tim Hortons.

For all of the reasons above I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

Hotel with major management problems. My check-in took 30 minutes even though I had a full reservation. When I arrived in the room, the temperature was 60F (15C) and the heating didn't work. I had to move the wardrobe myself to reactivate the breaker because the reception was not answering the phone at 8 pm. The toilet wouldn't flush, so I adjusted the float myself. Then I had to return some emails but the internet wasn't working. The next morning, the room temperature (726) was 78f (26C) and there was no hot water for the shower (just lukewarm). Maintenance came to replace the thermostat after a discussion with the manager. The hot water was never repaired.

Never again... I will continue to go to Hilton Garden Toronto

Checking in the hotel was great and seamless, the room was spotless and modern and clean as well as the buffet area for breakfast with plenty of choices. Very friendly service satff and well as reception, they really did do their best.
Now the unfortunate downside.
We didn't realise it was a pet friendly hotel and only realised when a big dog ran across our 3rd floor and jamp on my wife OMG hell broke lose. the owner was ver opologetic but the dog wasn't on a lead NOT good!!
Then the noise from two rooms either side of us were so loud after complaining to reception they then got security over to quiten the rooms down. It was just a marred experince we didn't need. We also didn't realise that it was 1 hour away from downtown. we had a to catch a bus #36 to the station and the catch a train to downtown, a bit of a mission but we got used to it. I wouldn't do it again.

We stayed in an "accessible" room, but it does not meet the needs of a handicapped person. The bed is too high. The bathroom is too small for a wheelchair to fit in. The toilet is kindergarten height with no elbow room and a railing that is useless because it is right up against the sink. The shower is walk-in, with handrails, but there is no bench or chair and the floor was slippery when soapy. To get cool air from the hairdryer, you need to keep your finger on the button the whole time. There was no holder for the toilet paper.

It started out badly when a girl with a bad attitude at the front desk told me perhaps I should go next-door to the best Western. That was the best part of the stay. The rooms are dated and filthy, with the oldest hotel pool I’ve stayed at in 20 years. I’m going to stick with the girl at the front desk’s suggestion that you stay next-door at best Western ........ 👎

Always smiling and very polite. I would also like to thank the gentleman who was at reception early in the morning. Sorry, I didn't remember his name. Thank you everyone

Hello it depends on your choice of travelling to the city centre, there are buses just 2minutes walk and you can arrange for a cab through the reception. The bus cost around 6-7Canadian dollars.

Hello Kourosh, Previously, I gave you the details of a Cab ride to go to downtown. However, there are Public Transport facilities as well. There is a Bus Stop within a 2 minute walk from the hotel and a Bus going to Finch Station abt 20 mins Bus ride and then take a Subway train going to Downtown Union Station . $3.25 for bus ride and take a transfer ticket from the bus and you can use that transfer ticket in the Subway Train. I hope this was helpful. Thank you
