The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto stands out for its impeccable cleanliness and luxurious atmosphere, earning high marks from guests for its meticulous rooms and sophisticated decor. The service is consistently praised for its professionalism and personal touch, although a few guests have noted occasional service delays. Nestled in the desirable Yorkville neighborhood, the hotel's location is a highlight, providing easy access to local shopping and dining. While the well-appointed rooms are a hit, with modern amenities adding to the comfort, some visitors mention noise disturbances and a few have questioned the value considering the price point.

I loved this hotel! We stayed for the Taylor Swift concert and the four seasons curated a Taylor playlist, and welcomed us with Taylor Swift cookies -- such a wonderful touch! They also offered shuttle service to and from the concert.

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk into the lobby and beautifully redone hotel rooms. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We dined at d bar and Boulde cafe and both were excellent! The espresso martini at d bar is the best I've had. Our room had a great view and was cleaned twice a day. I appreciated the water refills and Nespresso machine in the room. The only downfall I'd give the hotel is that there is no sauna in the spa. Other than that--a great experience and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I stayed at the 4 Seasons Toronto for a girls weekend to see SIX and it was a solid experience. While further from the Theatre district, its location in Yorkville was lovely for strolling, shopping and dining. The service at the hotel was exceptional, as many other reviewers have pointed out. My main rating of 4 instead of 5 is based on the overall tired look of the hotel. The lobby area was an uninviting maze of sterile corridors and wood panels and the rooms were tired. At this high price point, I expected to be completely blown away and I wasn't. Our two rooms were not available when we arrived, which is fine as we were there around lunch, but our matinee show made getting ready a bit rushed when we finally received the keys. The rooms were on the same floor but not connected, so we were constantly walking back and forth when getting ready and hanging out at the end of the night. The breakfast was good but over priced at the Cafe Bouloud, and the lobby store did not have the 4 Seasons stuffed toy for purchase to bring home to kids. While the staff were all wonderful to interact with, the hotel itself was underwhelming for the price point.

The four seasons has always been an outstanding hotel company. The Toronto hotel experience exceeded my expectations. Every individual at the hotel exuded a level of professionalism and competence with seemlessnsss and positive attitude that. I have not seen in a long time. The hotel decor and rooms are stunning. No city noise can be heard in the rooms. Location perfect. Alex at the desk, the concerige sorry I don’t recall her name, even the waitstaff in the restaurant and door persons. As the title says. SHEER PERFECTION. and please note, this was at a time when the hotel was full booked hence no easy task to accomplish perfection

This was my first stay at the Four Seasons and for whatever reason I always believed that the hotel chain was supposed to be first in class among luxury hotels. It may just be the case at the Four Seasons Toronto but the finishings (engineered wood floors, wallpaper, bathroom tiles, etc.) all felt cheap and akin to many new construction condo projects built within the last 10 years. The hotel did not really feel like it was a 5-star hotel and the service was average. When I called for housekeeping prior to leaving my room, the person who answered my call asked several times what I needed without providing clarification that 'housekeeping' is not specific enough to know that I needed the room to be serviced. I am not sure if the hotel keeps records of which rooms have been cleaned each day but I did not understand why the employee felt the need to ask 'what housekeeping do you need'. Overall, mediocre finishings for a supposed 5-star hotel, less than impressive attitudes from the staff and above average room fares even when compared to other 5-star hotels in desirable locations means that I would need to heavily reconsider ever staying again at the Four Seasons especially when other options are readily available and also recognize brand loyalty.

Travelling since 3am from Dublin we arrived at the hotel at 4.30pm to be told our rooms were not ready but they should be ready in 30 minutes and were offered $100 per room bar credit. We went to wait in the bar and checked back in at reception every half hour for the following 5 hours. Each time we went to reception we had to que up, the receptionist spent ages finding our booking so clearly no-one had prioritised the issue and people all around us were being checked in. Foolishly we were pleasent and did not make a fuss. Eventually at 9.30 we said we would not leave reception until we got our rooms. They offered us 1 room and said they would move our bags there but we refused and having stood there for approx. 30 minutes more they gave us the 2nd room. The receptionist grudgingly offered to credit us 50% of the cost of the room. Our booking was 1 single room and 1 family with double bed and couch. When we eventually got to our room there was no pull-out. At that stage we were too tired and just doubled up. The following morning I informed reception and was told 'their' system had no request for a pull out. I found the booking mail FROM the Four Seasons and the receptionist said he would have to talk to the manager and would I wait. Having waited another 15 mins in the foyer I went back to reception to see the manager dealing with other checkouts. I again stood waiting and he eventually came to me. His 1st comment was to repeat the mantra that 'their' system had no pull out and again I had to prove I was telling the truth. He told me we could'nt have a pull out in our room and would have to change rooms again but could give no time when this might happen. He also asked that I forward a copy of THEIR email, clearly not accepting their mistake and behaving as if I had perhaps photoshopped it! I made it clear I wasnt at all happy with the treatment and he again grudgingly agreed to fully credit 1 room for 1 night. I decided to leave and went to pay the bill on the other room and for the final insult was credited 50% of the Saturday night rack rate. We were on a 3 for 2 night deal and Saturday was the dearest of the 3 nights so in fact I only got a 30% reduction. At that stage I didn't bother commenting.
For our 1st night in Toronto we had planned on a rest, to freshen up and to explore the city. Instead we were left waiting in the hotel foyer for 5 hours, told come back every half hour, only got our rooms when we made an issue and when we got them they were wrong. To add to it the following day we were repeatedly asked to prove that we had actually booked a family room and told the hotel 'system' said differently and made feel as if we were either telling lies or trying to pull a fast one.

Such a wonderful experience for a family with young children! The hotel staff were very welcoming. Upon entry to our room, we were surprised with little stuffed animals and children sized slippers and robes. Our children took them everywhere with us!! We had sweet treats set out for us when we returned for the evening. Small surprises and touches of luxury everywhere! We had a beautiful, well appointed room. The pool was lovely, and we appreciated the family hours.
The location was close to the ROM, shopping, and wonderful restaurants. We look forward to staying here again!

Rooms are always cleaned , world class , first class service . I stayed in Four Seasons for Canada Thanksgiving , Oct 10 , the rooms are always refreshed , every one always greets you with a smile . Their concierge Harry made it possible for me to throw a surprise for my friend who stayed in Four Seasons the week after . Gary ensured all the amenities are placed in the room for the surprise . I will always stay in Four seasons no matter which region or location! Highly recommended !

As someone having stayed many times at this hotel, as well as other comparable hotels, I am very disaapointed. Our suite, they acknowledged, was breached when the privacy sign was on and we were in the other room. Room service delivered major incomplete meal, then came back and breached our privacy a second time with the rest of the order. They were unable to arrange a time at the lounge, later said it was arranged, ut when we confirmed we'd attend it said it was no longer available till another time, so we cancelled. They acknowledged their fault and shelfully offered my wife half-off on laundry, which she turned down and told them just to focus more on service. So then they called us the next day offering another big concesion, a late checkout, which we didn't need. However, due to their gracious gesture, while I declined the late checkout I asked them to arranged a limo for early in the morning for my wife and me. So they truned me over to a concierge! Then, this person phoned, inquiring about out needs and I asked for an SUV limo given the amount of our baggage. They said they were on it and would call back momentarily. when I didn;t hear for over an hour I called them back and said if they were having trouble finding an SUV limo, then to get a sedan as long as it could accomodate the luggage. Again they said they were on it and would revert to me imminently. I asked them to come by the suite once done so I could tip them. Again I didn;t hear for over an hour. So I cancelled the limo, shared my views with the front desk manager conversant with the details, and asked her simply to make sure a taxicab is there when we need, which we will find out soon. Most disappointed.

Our room was fine, but there were many things about our stay that were disappointing for a hotel that cost over a grand per night. The TVs are not smart so no streaming allowed. Instead the options were watching basic channels or paying $20 for films such as Wizard of Oz. C’mon, this is not how we do things in 2024. The zen feeling of our spa day was interrupted as children and families share the pool with the spa. Not the best combo! Our server in the restaurant told us the wrong special (even though there was only one!) and forgot what drinks we ordered. She did not seem trained adequately or confident in her role. The DBar was half full but it took 10 min to sort out whether there was a table available and only after we explained we were guests of the hotel did they seat us (and we are attractive, well-dressed and courteous ladies). There were no hand towels or shower caps in our room the first night. The experience was fine but Four Seasons in Toronto should be memorable and special. Sadly, it disappointed. I will not return.

Honestly, we had the most incredible experience with our recent stay for a staycation for my son's birthday. We were there to celebrate our 7yo son's birthday and from the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. The valet began joking with our kids, giving us water bottles and taking care of our bags seamlessly. Check in was easy and they rolled out gifts and a candy machine, which was a huge hit with our littles. In our room, there was a full dessert spread with birthday messages and gifts for both of our children. The pool is warm and beautiful and the kids didn't want to leave. We came back the next day with a cake, which we were going to leave in our car, but no, the valet noticed right away and offered to put it in the room service fridge, complete with a tag to have it brought out on our check out. Last stop was brunch at Cafe Bouloud, which was exceptional. We had the most wonderful 48 hour stay and will not hesitate to stay at the Four Seasons again and again for staycations in Toronto!

Hi, Yes, each room that I have stayed in does have a small window that does open and also has a safety lock. Just my assumption, but I do think that all room types have the same window design with the option to open for fresh air.
