the place was dirty and smelled like mole. they didn't clean the outside of the fridge something was split on it. In the back of the cabinet was paper and a fork. I checked for bed bugs good thing I didn't find any at lease in my room. The shower tiles looked like they were going to fall off and moldy. The sink was discussing. I was scared to walk without my shoes in the room. We didn't spend much time there we just needed a place for the night and it was the only hotel in Lively. Otherwise I would have asked for my money back and went somewhere else. The important thing is I didn't see any bedbugs. The TV didn't work and I had to call the staff. The man came and got it working but I was upset that he knock but before I could get to the door to let him in he was opening the door with his key. I told him that he could have waiting until I opened the door. They never give me the password to the free wifi I had to call them to ask for it. Other places would give it as they give you the key. I will never stay at this place again, and don't recommend anyone to stay there. When we were checking out the lady or man didn't even come out to get the key they sent out the daughter that looked no more than 10.

Disgusting!!!! Drunk “assistant manager” so he told me prior to seeing him half hanging out of his car past out drunk in the parking lots. All the small things were dirty in the room ex; fridge, phone, lamps, headboards etc.. another young girl who is an employee fell down the hill drunk in the back parking lot and scared the hell out of me!!!!

The staff does not seem concerned about this, i suspect they don't want to lose the money to get an exterminator in here. The bugs were crawling right across the comforter, i don't even want to know how many are probably under that "red carpet". Don't stay here unless you want to bring some bites & little guests back home with you.

I stayed here and I liked it. The ppl were very nice and accommodating. It's a great deal for what you get. Close to Sudbury without a huge price tag. I would prefer staying a bit out of the way and not in the city anyways. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Stayed in the king suite with jacuzzi tub. Tv did not work. Even after it was looked at, there was a strange noise coming from it. So we didn’t bother with it. Also, after leaving the hotel my credit card was charged an extra thirty dollars (I paid in full online but had to give my credit card as a deposit for damages). While there were no damages since we only stayed for one night.... but now I’ve been phoning them for a week & a half and I keep getting told the manager is not available. This is atrocious! Don’t stay here.

We were told it was a non-smoking room. The room was well maintained, nice furniture, bed just fine, carpet, etc. Oh, A/C didn't work! Can't complain about anything else except the SMELL!!! It smelled like a combo of old cigarette smoke and musty! Was not worth paying $100!! Will never go back! If we weren't so tired from driving we would have went somewhere else.

Room, hallway, carpets, linens, curtains all smelled of smoke. I am allergic so was very sick by the next day. The fan unit blew loud and temperature was difficult to adjust. Not very restful at all. Location was okay and some of the staff were friendly.

Was booked in here by someone else. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk, only a note to go to room 2XX. Door was answered by a very elderly lady who said her daughter was somewhere downstairs and would be back shortly. After about 10 minutes finally got hold of staff by calling hotel answering machine and got forwarded to a cell phone. Registered and went to room, not cleaned or made up. Garbage laying around, towels on floor, beds unmade. Went back to lobby to let staff know, she called the housekeeping guy to come up and make the room. I went back and waited, he didn't show so girl from lobby came with the cart and started cleaning. I went out to get some things at a variety store, when I came back the housekeeping guy was there helping, He had hurt his back and wasn't able to bend. He looked like he had just gotten in from cutting wood. Eventually they finished but I didn't feel comfortable in the bed so slept on top. Odd noises through the night. Old stained bathroom fixtures. Stains on carpet. It takes a lot for me to be uncomfortable. I won't be staying here again.

I have been in some pretty outdated hotels but this one takes the cake! Not only that, I honestly don't think anything has ever been cleaned! Especially if you choose to enter the hotel around back on the ground floor. There is an overhang (balcony for upstairs) over the door. It is all rotten and looks burned and contains 20 or 30 pigeons in it or flying around pooping everywhere including the picnic table under that overhang. There was vomit and blood all over the ground and the makeshift wooden handicap ramp to start. It looks like the glass windows haven't been cleaned for years and the door has no lock back there. Room 109 is great if you don't mind smoke even though its non-smoking room. The whole corridor downstairs is just plain gross! The room is so outdated, the carpet floor was disgusting, the bathtub/shower combo is full of mould on the ceiling which looks like it could fall at anytime, the 2 chairs in the room were so dirty and full of stains, pillows were yellow but supposed to be white, the nightstand still had round sticky cup/bottle stains on it from previous guests, a fridge that hardly worked and the AC unit had been kicked or? and rattled so loud I was afraid to use it. I had to stay there through my work but otherwise would never ever stay their on my own no matter what kind of rate/deal I was given. I've got the heeeby geeebies just thinking about it again and hope i don't catch anything or bring anything home with me! Please find another place to stay. Don't even know if they still have any kind of breakfast deal but I wouldn't want it anyways. Sorry, but just being honest.

Was suppose to be no smoking but room reeked of smoke. Not very well maintained either. Not good location as not much around area. Would not recommend to others. Before you take room please check them out, which was our first mistake here.
