The Days Inn by Wyndham Fallsview receives a range of feedback, with some guests commending the friendly service and clean common areas, while others encounter slow check-ins and a lack of expected amenities, such as a substantial breakfast and in-room conveniences. Many visitors are disappointed with the rooms due to cleanliness issues and odors. Although the pool is a highlight for some, the hotel's location garners mixed reviews, appreciated for its quietness but criticized for its distance from attractions. Additional dissatisfaction arises from hidden fees, including a notable parking charge, leading guests to question the value offered by the hotel.

Be advized the this hotel does not have mini fridges in the rooms. You can ask for one to be sent to your room if any are available but you will have a 15$ surcharge per night! We had a fridge delivered, but it did not work so check for that before leaving food in it…
Also, there are no coffee machines in the room though the website confirms they do. Asked the front desk and was told that the coffee machines were removed due to Covid and health measures…. So now, all patrons use the same coffee machine in the lobby…??? Not sure how that is better on a health standpoint as oersonnel do not seem to sanitize it between patrons…
The hallways are untidy but the room is clean. Humidity issues in the room even though not a humid week but that can be managed with A/C.
Hand sanitizer at side entrance near our room is on the floor in a corner so not visible or easily accessible…
Bathroom in room is small with little counter space but clean.

For a couple of nights this location works and was the most inexpensive room we could find for the location. We did have to pay for parking. It's close to distance to the Falls, Fallsview Casino and many restaurants. The hotel has an outside pool which is in the parking lot, its nothing fancy but was busy. We never used it and you had to reserve a time due to Covid. Continental breakfast was given in a brown bag, nothing fancy...a blueberry muffin, granola bar, fruit cup and orange juice...you can also make a tea/coffee.
Check-in was slow, at first they couldn't find my reservation until I showed them my phone. Our room was fine, renovated...but the bathroom is not. We would consider staying here again if we get the same room/location.
TIP: If you want a coffee (Tim Hortons) or other breakfast, you can go to the food court at Fallsview Casino. There were a couple of restaurants open.

Okay, first of all other than the bed and sofa bed not comfortable enough, there’s also this notorious bed frame leg at the end part that I hated about, keep stubbing our toes. It’s not just me but also my daughter and Aunt, it hurt so much. My daughter really cried for it. I hope they will do something about it.
The table in front of the tv, is not stable. I don’t have a picture of it but the leg is broken.
For cleanliness specially at this covid time, they should do something about it, I’m not sure if the bed sheets on the sofa bed is new but doesn’t smell like it. Washroom seems like they mopped but smelly, either the water is dirty or the mopped is old. You can’t smell any disinfectants at all. Even the microwave is dirty. It’s not our first time staying at Days Inn but this is the first that I have bad reviews. Sorry but they should do something about it.

The check in experience was not pleasant. There were no rules on how many people could be in the lobby and social distancing was not enforced at all. Front desk staff at check in was snarky. She gave no information regarding room location, wifi, breakfast, parking cost, etc.
At checkout my mom and I wanted to split the cost on two cards (since we were not allowed to pay before checking out) and the front desk agent made sure we knew how inconvenienced she was by our request and made a huge deal about having to process two payments.
The night staff were very polite and ensured there was coffee available and were happy to answer any questions and provide additional towels and soaps. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was sun-par. The shower pipes squeaked and rattled when the warm water was turned on and the fan was reminiscent of a jet engine. Overall the stay was alright but I wouldn’t go back.

2 nights stay + 2 nights parking + taxes - 10% CAA discount = $315.00 (CAN) for a below than average hotel. Charging that much but no cleaning of the room during COVID-19. No coffee machine in room. No fridge. No elevator for my wife who has difficulty walking. Free breakfast consisted of a tiny muffin, a granola bar and a small bottle of orange juice. TV stations kept cutting out.

There are no elevators as per the gentleman who checked us in (I don't recall his name). He accommodated our request to have a room on the lobby level instead of the 3rd floor. The air condition unit worked well. The sheets and towels were in decent condition. The water pressure in the shower was very good. Breakfast included was a brown paper bag which contained a muffin, a granola bar, a fruit cup & a bottle of orange juice. Tea & coffee were available in the lobby.

Opportunities For Improvement:

Social Distancing & Masks: The lobby had several guests waiting for check-in & checkout. Social distancing was not enforced. Also, mask wearing was not enforced in the lobby despite having signs up stating that masks are required.

Room & Bathroom : musty smell upon entry into the room, peeling paint on the ceiling near the window, no microwave in the guest room, no mini fridge, stained drapes, very dirty mirrors, stained toilet, grimy, dirty shower tiles, floor & tub. The towel rack on the wall above the toilet was rusty.

Front Desk Staff: On the last day of our stay, the hotel moved breakfast pick up from their lobby to a restaurant across the parking lot. There was a very heavy rain downpour that morning & the parking lot to cross to get breakfast is not sheltered. The Asian man behind the front desk (I don't recall his name) was very unwelcoming & not helpful. He lied about there being no microwave in their office that could be used to heat up our meal. He also said there was no umbrella to use. Another staff member (an elderly man-didn't get his name) overheard the conversation & intervened to lend me an umbrella from behind front desk or their office so I could go pick up the brown paper bag breakfast.

Our request to speak with the manager was not met. We were told the manager would be in later. We never heard from the manager.

Building is old, no sound proof. You can hear everything next door and down the hallway.

Website claimed room have coffee machine, reality is the coffee machine is at the lobby. Website claimed free continental breakfast, but what you get is just a small muffin, fruit cup, granola bar and sugar juice to bring back to your room.

We booked a room with 2 double beds. I own a double bed, what Daysinn provided is definitely not a double. They are different in size as well.

You will end up paying more than what advertised on website because according to the staff "the website always get the tax incorrectly". Obviously this is a known issue, but obviously DaysInn doesn't bother to fix it. So you will caught by surprise charges!!!

Just don't bother booking a stay here. I have paid the same price in Niagara Falls with much better room quality and with real continental breakfast.

They just blame everything on covid and website. Terrible experience.

The rooms are fine for the price, but the parking fee was $31 CAD per night, which is the most expensive we ever paid in Niagara Falls at a hotel. The breakfast to go, contained of a small fruit juice, a packed mini muffin, a fruit cup and a trail mix bar. Not exactly things I normally eat for breakfast but OK, we didn't have too high expectations.

I liked it. Others may not.

It's a cheap (for the tourist trap area it's in). There are no frills. No coffee maker in the room - gotta go to the lobby for that. And definitely no decaf. The tea options were pretty slim too.

Continental breakfast is in a brown bag provided ifrom The Frontier BBQ Smokehouse restaurant across the parking lot.

NONE of which bothered me.

I was provided with some coupons for applebee's and that same restaurant across the parking lot, and 10% off the Maple Leaf Place retail and restaurant which apparently includes a commentary tour and tasting flight (?). I didn't avail myself of that last one.

The room was clean. AC was blasting for the heatwave we were in.

The internet wifi for ne was 65Mbps download and 20Mbps upload. Which was great.

It's a small place. 3 floors and no elevator. I wouldn't say its very accessible for those with mobility issues.

Again, none of this affected me and I was quite happy with my cheap, 1 night stay.

I would visit this place again.
