West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

My husband and I stayed here while I was at a conference, and it was just the most lovely stay. I cannot say enough about how sweet, kind, and accommodating the owner and staff are. The rooms and breakfast are lovely too! We stayed in the Forest Room. And although this B & B i

This was our first stop on our Canada/ US honeymoon and it was a perfect place to stay. The staff were so friendly and knew everything about the area. The hotel is brilliantly located - close to all the key landmarks but also in a pretty, quiet residential neighbourhood. The brea

How far is it to walk from here to Stanley Park. Hubby would use his scooter, I would walk. And the cruiseport would be how far away as well.
it will only take you less than 10 minutes to walk to Stanley Park the same to where the cruise terminal is. we are located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Hi. My wife and I will be arriving in Vancouver off our Inner Passage Alaska Cruise on 27th September and need to get to the Barclay Hotel 1348 Robson St Vancouver. Is that you? How do you suggest we get from the cruise terminal to the hotel and then a few days later to the airport for our flight to LAX? I understand you do not provide a shuttle service. Looking forward to your comments
Hello, Barclay House B&B and the Barclay Hotel are two different hotel and locations. Taxi is the fastest and more convenient to our place. My question is? Have you made your reservation yet? Our September month is almost full. Cheers.

Hi, I was wondering if the free parking you offer is on the street your B&B is on. Thanks. Bonnie
Our parking is just behind the house not on the street. It's private and safe parking for free.

My wife and I prefer a room with two beds or a king that can be made as twin beds. Can you accommodate us?
the Forest room is the only room that has king size bed and a day bed.
