Excellent location. Staff some of friendliest I have encountered in all my travels. The rooms are quite spacious and clean.
Beds were comfortable. With the suite arrangement there two separate sleeping areas accommodating 3 adults nicely
Amazingly quiet for an urban setting. Did not hear...More
A central location was important, and we found Hotel Le Soleil afforded a comfortable walk to almost everything surrounding downtown. A view of the 'city of glass' was part of the attraction, so a corner junior suite on an upper floor placed us on top...More
We stayed at Le Soleil for the first time and found the staff welcoming and efficient, the restaurant called The Copper Chimney had amazing food and fabulous service and the European ambience of the hotel was lovely. The rooms are dead quiet so we slept...More

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also

The common spaces are a lot smaller than other properties and no pool (altho' the newish YWCA is right next door). The rooms are good for kids with a sofa bed in most I think. Also soundproofing seems pretty good. Its right downtown but that means very accessible to the SeaBus and the waterfront attractions of Vancouver. So I think I would rate it kid-friendly...hope that helps!

Vancouver is sophisticated and has numerous escort services, so I imagine a quiet and discreet arrangement would not disturb the management. I stayed with my wife who uses her maiden name, and the staff was friendly. of course, we were respectful of the hotel and other guests.
