The hotel was excellent. Wonderful service, location, and room. The restaurant, Hydra, attached to the hotel on the second floor was amazing as well. the overall experience was a 10 out of 10 for me!!
It was my first time at this hotel and I was blown away by the exceptional service everywhere- front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, concierge.... It made such a difference in our stay! Add beautiful space, incredible location and wonderful food on top of that. Highly recommend!
It was my first time in this amazing and great city Vancouver. I was for training and bussines here but few days I cut enjoy the city as well. And I had a great time in my hotel Exchange the stuff is very nice and helping I with every case u come up to them anytime. The room was clean and useful the bed very soft and I fall in sleep very fast. All what I need I had there from a small kitchen for tee and coffee and als a small place to store things. Over all I can say I never forget this great time in the city and hotel. Will be not last time I am Here. Thanks and great to stuff and all, for this wonderful time here.
great hotel, clean rooms, concierge, bell men service excellent. Room service on the other hand - I ordered tea to my room. They said no problem sent up tea with ALCOHOL (I’m pregnant). Did not know I needed to specify I didn’t want alcohol in a chamomile tea. Called back down and asked for a new tea without alcohol. They apologized and sent up a new tea. I signed off on the bill which included an 18% tip - which I did not think they deserved, however wanting to drink my tea and move on, I signed off. Upon checking out the next morning I had a room charge for more than I had signed off on. I asked for a print out of the receipt, and to my surprise they had changed the tip to FIFTY percent. Not only is this fraudulent and unethical, but after they screwed up the first order the audacity of tipping themselves 50% is beyond me. I get the price of a tea is insignificant, however, the principle of changing a tip after a guest has signed off is wrong. Everything else was great, but this left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Had I not asked for an itemized receipt, they would have gotten away with changing the tip after I signed off. I can’t imagine the number of guests who don’t check, and order more than just a couple of teas. …
Beautiful suite and stayed for a Staycation/ 40th birthday. I was surprised by a bottle of wine & a card wishing us Happy Birthday. My only complaint is that the shower head was disappointing in such a beautiful shower.
Once a year we get away to a hotel. This year we chose the EXchange hotel and I will definitely return! As an Interior Designer, I could certainly appreciate the well appointed rooms, the decor, and charm that this hotel had to offer. The staff were beyond friendly, almost in a theatrical way. They made us laugh and gave us a big welcome every time we came in. The rooms were so comfortable and the location was perfect. With Breaka restaurant nearby, we had everything we needed. Will certainly return!
Staff are very friendly, went above and beyond! Heated bathroom floors are amazing, especially after walking outside in the cold and rain. Room was lovely and well stocked with amenities and furnishings, bed was comfortable. The only issue was street noise - it kept me up much later than I would have liked with a delivery truck right outside, so that was the only downside. Oh, it was also a great location! We walked to restaurants, our meetings, etc.
A boutique style and personal feel to the hotel. Well appointed rooms and staff very attentive. It is in a quiete and convenient area. 2 blocks away from waterfront, close to public transport, and 5-10 min walk to other attractions.
The staff and the hotel itself continue to be excellent, from one stay to the next. From the minute you're greeted at the door by Volkan Saruhan and his colleagues right through to the moment you climb into bed, you feel welcomed and cared for. As someone who frequently travels to Vancouver over a period of many years, the EXchange has emerged as the clear winner in my long audition of many, if not most of Vancouver's downtown hotels. Highly recommended.
Came in to Vancouver for a family event. stayed at the exchange hotel. Loved the location, rooms and staff. Definitely will stay again. It was raining the whole time we were there, and so appreciated that they had umbrellas available to us. The concierge‘s/bellboys were so helpful for any information we needed.
