We had a 2 night stay booked at the end of a 3 week road trip and from the minute we checked in at reception, we had first class treatment right through our stay. We were even reminded that we stayed at the hotel exactly 7 years ago the exact same time! We had 2 breakfasts booked and 1 night dinner reservation for the last night of our stay and the food and service was outstanding. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road but with such comfortable beds, we had the best 2 nights sleep! We were so happy to come back and stay at this lovely hotel and would always recommend to anybody wanting a stay in Vancouver.

They let us check in a couple hours earlier and gave us a much unexpected upgrade! Staff was wonderful in the lobby and in the restaurant as well, the room was nice and cozy, super clean (I’m a clean freak) and both the room and the towels didnt smell like harsh chemicals which I loved. Super walkable to some of the tourist spots and lots of restaurants and cafes. 10/10 will stay here again next time in Vancouver :)

A warm and professional welcome and service, with extra help when we had a late flight on departure. Steam room, pool and gym were welcome facilities...and our room was large and well equipped. Can't think of anything to criticise, Thank you

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We arrived with a misunderstanding of our rates, but the staff very quickly (and without any push from us) settled it for us and we even got a better than expected rate. This happened also without them realizing it was my wife’s birthday, but when they were informed, sent a nice box of chocolates to our room with a personalized note. We will be staying here again next time we’re in Vancouver!

Everyone from front desk to restaurant staff treated me exceptionally well as I was going through a lot the day I arrived. They even surprised me with a gift the next day for my birthday! Comfy beds, strong shower pressure , great heated pool and hot tub! Would I stay again? You bet I would!

An amazing hotel. I stayed here for two nights in May. Very centrally located this hotel has the loveliest pool and hot tub area. The room was really nice with a king bed, a sitting area, and a balcony. The concierge service arranged a free bike for me to cycle one morning and always had a water bottle for me. I didn't try the restaurant as their vegan options were limited. The room was so comfortable and the bed was amazing. Cons: After using the changing rooms, you have to walk through the restaurant patio to get to the pool. They have delicious infused water but the cups are too small to get more than a mouthful.

L’Hermitage continues to provide a high standard of service. I miss the buffet breakfast which has been discontinued so the restaurant area is now even quieter than before. Room quality, convenience to car park, central location and service are reasons to use the hotel. Very comfortable and front desk very helpful. It does feel like the hotel has positioned itself in some respects as a high class service apartment rather than a full blown hotel - but for me that works very well as I had one of the larger suites on 7th floor and we were a family with 2 teenage kids. I can strongly recommend and this is my 6th or 7th stay at the property now.

Wonderful! Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Room was beautiful, clean, with comfortable bed and sheets. We had the boutique room with a king bed and it also had a nice balcony. Location was amazing in downtown Vancouver, only 15 minute-walk away from Gastown, Yaletown and very convenient access to public transportation. The hotel also has 2 bikes that you can borrow complimentary for 4 hours. Cafe Medina is right out the door, serving amazing Mediterranean inspired breakfast and the best Belgium waffles in town.
