everyone was very helpful.. They stored are bikes in the front office so they wouldn't be in the way in the room..very dog friendly.. we don't go anywhere with out Stella..the pub was great food and atmosphere.
Had a great stay at the Ramada Penticton. The hotel is always so clean and they will make sure you have anything you want in your room to make your stay more pleasurable. There were still a lot of kids there with it being the long weekend but the hot tub and pool were great and it’s always like being in a resort
Have been going there for the past 4 years with 2-3 other families and never had any problems. The property is well kept with a great pool area with a place to order food/drinks (summer time only )BBQs to use. Short walk to the beach
This hotel is very large and has three buildings. I once stayed in the tower and had a room that was reasonably large and modern. The older rooms in the two story buildings are very dated and dreary. The one I was in had the window directly adjacent to the stairway for the building entrance. There was no breakfast served, not even coffee in the lobby. There is a pub-style restaurant on the property but it does not open for breakfast. I will note that the Fairview, just down the street, still serves a full hot breakfast to guests and has unlimeted coffee throughout the day. That said, the grounds of the hotel are very nice. There is a large swimming pool, BBQ grills, small playground, many outdoor chairs, and huge lawn. It would be a good choice for family stays.
Using covid as an excuse to save on service and cleanliness is unacceptable. Telling customers to call front desk for services or clean towels or garbage removal is terrible . They could simply post a employee on each floor who can exchange and help customers with towels ,garbage removal, toiletries. When you pay 200 a night and get nothing it's abysmal. Garbage was being dumped in garage bin and wasn't cleared for days . Sanitizer pump in lobby empty for 5 days . I even left it open so they could see . Nothing . It was shut and left empty . Worst hotel experience in 56 years on this planet.
