Looks pleasant, but the gates were locked when we arrived at 4pm this Wednesday afternoon in May. Then we discovered, hidden in the small print on the web-site, that the site is open only at weekends. It would be courteous to make this more obvious to potential visitors - on the home page, on Facebook and on Tripadvisor. Sorry to have missed an overnight stay in this pretty village.

The Sierra of Aracena and Picos de Arroche is a very green, unspoiled and wonderful part of Andalucia in Spain. It's well connected to Sevilla, Huelva and Badajoz and a perfect stop on the free national road from Portugal to Spain. This personally-run camping is well-located next to the pitoresque village of Fuenteheridos, a central spot in the Sierra of Aracena, connecting many small villages that are all worth a visit. There are many hiking, cycling and horseback riding trails en lot's of small local markets and festivals to visit all year round. The camping has two swimming pools opened in summer and a nice bar/restaurant with a very energetic and friendly owner that organizes concerts regularly.
