Beautiful room, pool and views, spotlessly clean and a potentially fantastic place..... On check in we straight away had a lecture on what we were not allowed to do, and the 'rules' . Immediately i thought that they have created quite a nice place here, but know very little about who the customer is. They took ID and kept it, something we have never seen before. They have a night time noise curfew at 8.30pm, which would be fine if the owners themselves stuck to it, and didn't have their friends making a lot of noise on the patio under our rooms at 10pm.They have a fines system if you bring any food and drink on site. Would be ok if the food on site was good, but quality was pretty poor. Beers are reasonably priced at 65 pesos per bottle, but i had to keep telling them to put some in the fridge/freezer so they would be cold. There are 3 dogs on site making a nuisance of themselves while we tried to eat dinner, and barking at 5am. The cleaner decided our windows needed cleaning at 7am every morning, or the shoe rack needed adjustment noisily. There were loud workmen on site making noise at 8am. Cockerells and barking dogs are serenading at first light. They offer Netflix, but the wifi signal is pretty non existant in the rooms and therefore not strong enough in the room for it to work. Breakfast is pretty much set, and tea or coffee are NOT included?! Their reasoning was that  they gave us some sachets of 'free' coffee in our room... So we just made it ourselves and brought it down to have with breakfast. I asked if i could substitute something for an extra egg, and was told it would be 30 pesos extra. At dinner we ordered a fruit platter at 20.40, but told it would not be available after 20.30... If dinner had not taken over an hour to come out, we may have had time to order the fruit platter. Laundry costs are sky high (x5) compared to everywhere else. They only accept cash not credit cards.
