Very nice resort. Clean. Even the beach was cleaned every day. Pool very clean. Restaurant with good food. Service excellent. Very nice to wake up every morning and just have a few steps to the ocean.

Started my 2020 with a dinner at a newly opened resort in a neighboring town in Zamboanguita called Allura. It was a wonderful dinner, everything about the dish that we ordered is perfection, from the presentation to the taste. Great price and great serving. A little letdown would be customer service from the waitstaff who attended to us. Aside from that, everything was impeccable. Thank you

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Allura to relax and getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place, overall, is quaint and lovely. Quiet, clean and you definitely get to relax. The cottage we stayed at was clean, with new beds, pillows, nice sheets and cold a/c. I loved the fact that we had free, unlimited access to the pool and kayaks since we were checked in. I liked how there are designated smoking areas that were far from the rooms. The tables and chairs were new and sturdy. Towels were replenished at all times while we were at the pool. The pool was big and very, very clean! However, there are still some things that could be improved: 1. Waitresses could be more courteous, and they should SMILE more. (Other staff were great.) 2. Bathroom toiletries should be at least changed after the previous guests. They looked like they had been used that I didn’t even risk touching — or worse, using them. 3. The cottages have a glass door, and the curtain doesn’t entirely cover the whole door which can get you paranoid at night. 4. Front desk officer should be more cautious, because when we checked out, he didn’t even bother to check the rooms (what if we got some towels and pillows, right?). To make things worse, he didn’t even ask us to return the keys! And since we were in a hurry, we totally forgot to return the keys and brought them home! Good thing my Aunt is a good friend of the owners and we were able to have her hand the keys back to them. 5. No wifi, but if your purpose is to relax, then that won’t be such a problem, especially if you have your own data or pocket wifi. Finally, given that their food is UTTERLY EXPENSIVE, they could at least make it savory. Imagine paying P395 for a small plate of spaghetti bolognese with slightly uncooked, hard pasta. Yeah, you get it — expensive, small serving, and not even good at all. And you don’t even have a choice but to but food from them because they charge corkage when you bring your own food so...just prepare at least P2000 for lunch, and another P2000 for dinner. That said, I do love that fact that they are pet friendly. We were able to bring our dog which I appreciate, but only during the day since they don’t allow pets to sleep in the cottages which I totally understand. So, overall, we had a nice stay. Went a little over our budget but it’s all good. We enjoyed and will consider going back when the place is fully equipped and finished, and hopefully, their food will be a bit cheaper and tastier next time around. Cheers!

The location is great, it has a gritty /sandy beach with beautiful views of Apo Island. The food was very good and all the staff friendly and helpful. This is supposed to be a soft opening and on the surface every thing looks good. They have plenty of day visitors but we stayed five days with a family so we had a different experience. There are a lot of simple things that they could do to make this a good resort in the future. From very simple management things such as there was a kettle in the room but no cups or coffee or tea supplied, Bring your own. No complimentary water in the room, 35 peso for a small bottle. Prices for drinks are comparable with a more up market resort. Very hard beds and the cover was for a single bed not a double. All very petty things that don't make this a bad place and can easily be adjusted. However this resort is still being constructed so building work being carried out on the site. No shade making the pool and surrounding areas unusable a lot of the day. The only shade near the pool is inaccessible because of building rubble. The beach chairs look lovely in the photos but are not sat on because there is no shade and the tiles near the pool are dangerously slippy when wet. There are various safety hazards on the site and its definitely not child friendly. We had to change rooms because of a problem with bugs. They did kindly pay my hospital expenses when I had an accident tripping over their very pretty but uneven paving. Everything looks great in the photos perhaps if they make an effort to sort out the issues that they have rather than expanding this could become one of the nicer resorts in the area and warrant the higher food and beverage prices.
