We visited on a Sunday, the following day was a holiday, so it was very busy. Actually, much busier than I would have thought allowed with covid restrictions, many appeared to have booked rooms. With it being so busy, you'd think they would be strictly enforcing restrictions, but that wasn't the case, their waiting staff weren't even wearing masks. I wonder what precautions they were taking for food preparations. We were there because of the whole day electrical blackout in the area, to relax and eat. We ordered a variety of foods, including hummus with falafel. There were two or three so called Israeli dishes on the menu too. Having worked in Iraq, Qatar, Dubai and Jordan, I have a pretty good idea what authentic hummus, falafel and the bread should be like. The hummus was fairly good, if a little on the bland side, bread was good though not authentic. The falafel was strange, I've only every had it in balls, these were like medallions and rather overcooked. The rest of the food was typical Filipino dishes and ok, with being anything special. Prices were reasonable and portions were good enough.…
Not much to say besides the owner was gracious and entertaining. The food was very good. Our room was spectacular and I will recommend them to our visiting guests and go again soon for another brown out.
Fantastic small hotel - great friendly helpful staff. Excellent food and perfect location right on the beach. Was very quiet the week we were there - a short walk down the beach from the kite spot with (K)ite (I)n (N)egros. Clean and tidy, good price, good food, comfy beds, nice pool and room cleaned each day - no complaints. Was there for the kiting so didn’t visit specifically for diving but Ram sorted me out with a quick check dive off the beach right from the hotel. Professional outfit - would recommend. Not much going on in Zamboanguita tourist wise, but hey, what more do you need when there’s diving, kiting, food and a quiet beach right on your doorstep.
The staff at this hotel is absolutely wonderful. Every single person tries to make your steak incredible. They’re very friendly and smile frequently. The only downfall is that you do hear a lot of roosters and there is a karaoke bar next-door. This seems to be pretty typical in the Philippines. The rooms are spotless and were cleaned every day. The scuba diving and snorkeling directly in front of the hotel are really good. We felt very safe as well
First of all the staff here are the nicest I’ve ever seen!! The food is the best in the country and the pool and view just amazing! For whatever you get the price is extremely fair. Perfect for couples and for dive course.
Lavanya resort is a great new place, directed by Ron and Ram, 2 Israeli diving instructors. The place is quiet and peaceful, has big convenient rooms, an open dining room all with an ocean view. Everything was designed as handicap accessible and is very comfortable. The food is great, opposed to other places we visited, and also have some traditional Israeli dishes. All the staff and the owners had done everything to make our stay there pleasant and welcoming. If you are scuba diving they offer really good shore and boat dives, including Apo island (and also diving courses), and both Ron and Ram are great instructors.
Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 4 days and did the diving course with one of the owners- Ram. The scoba diving was amazing and very proffesional, Ram have a lot of experience and we came there because a friens told us about him. The resort really new, everything very clean, nice pool and the best sunsets!!! Stayed there twice, one time for the diving and one week after for 3 more days. Enjoyed staying there. Amazing amazing staff and amazing food.
Amazing stuff, all of the resort is handicap ready (a unique feature of this resort), the food is great and the prices on all of the facilities, minibar and restaurant are great. ALL of the rooms have an open view of the beach and the pool is amazing. clean, good prices, amazing crew and professionals Israeli dive instructors (the owner, Ron - is one of the founders of the Israeli dive federation!)
This resort is brand new. The rooms are big and clean. Staff is so nice and welcoiming. The food is good. The resort is infront of the beach so you can sit next to the pool and see the beach/ocean. I had 5 days of diving with Ram (one of the instructors). I learend so much from him and he took me to beautiful diving sites. I had so much fun and felt like part of a warm family. I need to find time to get back!
This place is right beside where we stayed. Met Ram, after assisting my sister and wife maneuver the car in a tight spot, whose dad owns and manages the resort together. I'm glad we had dinner at their restaurant overlooking the pool; delicious and excellent service. It's the little things that count. This place is lovely we will book here next time we visit, thanks Ram. Joseph and family
