High rise condo building located an easy drive from town, so you do need transportation. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. As the units are individually owned, I would suggest to the owners that the units should be updated with sufficient non broken dish-ware and utensils, as well as adding basic service items. This may not be an issue in every unit. The large unheated swimming pool is a showcase centerpiece with plenty of chaise lounges as well as beach palapa seating. The property is located on one of the nicest beaches in San Carlos. Uncovered parking, tennis court & small exercise room are the amenities onsite. There is a bar/lounge overlooking the pool, but it did not appear to have a service attendant during our visit. A small curio shop has a few food staples if you didn’t stop at the store on your way through town.

Such a nice and pretty experience. The room was equipped with everything you need. Amazing view! The pool area is awesome . There are pretty nice restaurant close from the hotel. After we spent couple hours enjoying the sunset on the beach in front of the hotel , we literally walked less than 10 min to the closer restaurant. I still feeling the sand on my feet and the sound of the ocean while we walker to the restaurant. We will definitely come back soon!

Overpromises and underdelivers. The pool was unheated, the workout room had limited hours and broken equipment, the hot tub was tepid, the beach facilities had broken lounge chairs and the condo where we stayed had no basics, such as salt. Construction noise was constant, though bearable on a higher floor. Yes, the view is terrific and the beds were comfortable.

I am sorry your experience at Playa Blanca was not to your expectation. If you can please tell us what condo number you experienced, as there is no record of these incidents on these dates on any of our managed properties (playablancasancarlsorentals.com or PLAYA BLANCA PREMIER PROPERTIES on AirbnB. Perhaps you rented to a private party? We never advertise a heated pool as it would be cost prohibitive. Our Staff at the front Desk has no recollection of any issues on that weekend --- please try us out this time on any of our managed properties. not much we can do on the construction on the next lot where they are building a beach restaurant (The Soggy Peso).

This si the best place to sty in San Carlos, great beach, amenities, pool, bar and restaurants walking distance on the beach, great staff, very helpful people. It’s a condominium, not a hotel, you have to provide your groceries, every apartment has a very good and spacious kitchen. There is no front desk service late night.

Perfect place off season, for our first visit to Mexico and San Carlos. Overall there was 6 different groups staying in different sized apartments, each one brilliantly appointed, great views, easy access to the pool, beach and bars. Really comfortable, clean and easy to use, no stress. Friendly staff and super location.

Beautiful property. But…stepped on glass in the property pool requiring 4 stitches and ending the vacation. To add insult, management accused me of having the accident somewhere else and bringing it to their pool, which is ridiculous because it was bleeding badly. Additionally our condo had lots of deferred maintenance. Broken garbage disposal, kitchen drawer falling apart, bathroom fan not working, and we eventually discovered the water filtration was not plugged in. Not a great experience. Never again.

Hello Erik, We are very sorry to hear about your incident at Playa Blanca. There should not have been a piece of glass in the pool and we apologize for that. Concerning the treatment from the front desk I was told that when your wife came to the front desk to inform us of your injury, our front desk Manager Carolina immediately went with her to the pool area. She told you that the cut looked as if it required stiches and offered to have Rescate (local paramedics) come to pick you up at Playa Blanca take you to their office from treatment. Carolina also said that you told her you preferred to have your wife drive, so she printed out a google map to make sure you had directions. There were also several guards and HOA representatives at the scene. I can assure you that no such comment that you referred to was made by Carolina or any of our on-site property management staff. Upon review we have no record of you being a registered guest with our on-site property management company Playa Blanca San Carlos Rentals. It appears that you rented from an owner who rents his unit "outside of the system". If you had rented the condo through our company rather than directly with an owner, your condo would not have been in that condition at check-in. And if there were an issue with the unit , you could have simply reported it to the front desk and we would have had our on-site maintenance people resolve the problem immediately. We would be happy to have you as a guest in one of our condos. If you would like to give Playa Blanca another chance please contact Carolina and we will make certain that your next stay is far more enjoyable than the last one.

Playa Blanca is the best! The rooms are spotless, the beds comfy, the Reception staff amazing and the views spectacular! The pool is clean and beach is vacant. You can walk west to Sunsets, which offers great hours, food and entertainment. The walk east is pleasant and peaceful. Carolina, Sal, Cesar and Javier at Reception are welcoming, friendly, happy and accommodating. The are quick to help with advice, recommendations or extra supplies. I can't express how beautiful and breath-taking the views are of the Sea of Cortez!! I look forward to returning next year!

Playa Blanca is a very nice condominium hotel on a beautiful beach. We stayed in a one bedroom condo that was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing! The unit was well equipped with plenty of amenities.
Unfortunately, we did not use the pool as it was not heated. Two of the four jacuzzi's were slightly warm, but not hot.
