We have stayed here a few times when the ferries have been cancelled due to bad weather. Near Gaisano Mall , Jolly Bee and Capitancillo restaurant.
Deluxe twin P1,300- Big clean room where everything works. Good a/c, mattresses, bedlinens and towels. Food available. American breakfast P240-
Friendly staff. Easy to get transport.

I was moving my family from Roxas city, Capiz to Tacloban via RoRo. I made my reservation through phone and it was quick and hassle free. The person I talked to on the phone was helpful and processed my reservation right away informing me of the rates and types of accommodation. We arrived at Bogo around 6pm and have no trouble finding the place. The place has basic amenities, no restaurant but they are very helpful to point out good eating places. They referred me to Capitancillo restaurant which 3 min away by foot. It's upscale for the area and food was surprisingly good. Prices are average. The room we got is a double room and cost us 950, it was a big room with basic features. CR is reasonably clean and hot /cold shower is available . Towels are clean. The place is near 7-11 and other fast food chains so getting a quick meal anytime of the day is no 3545574problem. I wish I had more time to explore bogo , but since we are on a timetable, we checked out the next day to take the ferry from bogo to palompon, Leyte. Overall, the north homes is a good place to stay if you are not choosy and is ok with a good rest after a long journey. By the way, I left my iPad charger in the room and they gladly shipped it via LBC to my new address in Leyte. We stayed there on August 7, 2014.

It was comfortable. Rooms are massive complete with ensuite toilet and shower, cable tv and airconditioning. This place is also Bogo's newest bed and breakfast. Breakfast was served anytime of the day, which was cool so you don't have to worry about getting up in time to eat. Parking is gated and secured as well. Staff are really helpful but just need to be trained a little more. Only downside was the street noise so request for a room facing the other side. But overall, I'd recommed this place.

I had a good time here. My only complaint, was the hot water wasn't really working well for the shower. I let the front desk know and they switched rooms. Still wasn't working but I didn't really mind. It was hot outside so it was good to cool down. The room was very big and the price I got it online for was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Not much on cable TV, but I think that comes with the Bogo area. Wifi was decent, and security guard and front desk was always helpful. Halls were always quiet with no issues. I plan on staying here again on my next trip as well as check out other places as well. I believe Bogo will grow as time passes and become a bigger tourist location to stay in the years to come.

We were just looking for a place to stay when my friends were joined a triathlon. We loved the huge, clean rooms with cable and CR. At least the size of the CR is enough and not too cramped. My friends were able to take their bikes up to their rooms. The only catch is their food is breakfast all day and it's is just tapsilog (or something of the kind). We made arrangements to have it served early but the kitchen opened later than usual (good thing the race started late). It's by the road so the sound of motorcycles might wake you up if you're a light sleeper (fortunately I'm not). The place is very good ... it's location just isn't that good.

Stayed here in the suite for 2 days with my family for the Bogo festival. We were not disappointed. Room great, aircon great. Good hot water in bathroom and good water pressure. Flat screen tv with all the cable channels. No tea and coffee making facilities but they did provide a thermos of hot water to make ourselves. No restaurant while we were here so breakfast was not available so went to jollybee (walking distance) and had eggs and sausages which is probably the safest way to go. We loved the festival. We watched the street parade which was so so good. The happy faces the beautiful costumes and the amazing dancing which would have taken hours and hours to perfect. Everyone wanted us to take their photo and where constantly posing. We then went to the complex where they held the competition for best team, best dancing, best costumes etc and spent a wonderful time watching this. All in all a great stay in Bogo.

this was a fine place, stayed one night.
the cheapest room available at checking was some with two single beds.
clean, very spacious, old noisy aircon, cable tv did not work well.

bathroom was fine and clean.

all together a well maintained old place, in the typical local hybrid style of pseudo western 70s and asian aesthetics.

location is central, but the city is small anyway.

would stay again if in bogo.

We recently stayed in this place and it is by far the worst we've ever spent a night in while in the PH. We only give it a one star because staff is nice and tries to help, the aircon is cold and we can't rate it at zero. It had rained before we got there and all rooms smelled of mildew. Wifi is slow and spotty when it works. Street noise is terrible, trikes going past all night and there is a bar a very short distance away that plays music at maximum volume until past 1am. You also hear movies/music that desk staff play loudly at night until they go to sleep.

You hear loud TV's from other rooms and guests with kids were letting them run the hall until 3am while screaming and yelling. If you complain night staff does nothing.

There are no security boxes for valuables even though desk staff says yes when you ask about a room. Security makes no effort to help you get a trike to go anywhere, they just hang out in the lobby or stand off to the side outside smoking.

Our room had low water pressure in shower and luke warm water on high setting.

It rained our last night there and we woke up to find water dripping through the ceiling forming a large puddle on the floor.

We spent two days and nights there and never saw a housekeeper. Nobody made the bed, emptied rubbish or replaced bath towels. We did see a woman sweeping the hallway the day we gladly checked out.

If you can afford a resort while in Bogo then do so and avoid Northhome Pensione.

The place is clean and the amenities are okay. I stayed there for a night because I missed a trip, and I had a good sleep; not to mention I only spent less than Php300. Its also a ride away from the supermarket, just in case you want to buy food, etc.

You can take any airline from mainland US to Manila. Then fly to cebu. If you want a connecting flight, please allow 4-5 hours from your eta to etd. Yes, you have to fly through Manila to get to cebu, unless you want to fly from US to Hong Kong or Singapore there are direct flights to cebu from HK and SG., Philippines is archipelagic so flying is the most convenient way, unless, you want to be adventurous , you can take a boat from Manila or bus via the central nautical highway. From Cebu city, you have countless of options in traveling to Bogo. Bus, jeep, cab, rental etc...

"Rooms on the front side are a bit noisy from street noise. Rooms in the back are noisy from animal noises (Roosters, dogs, cats). The A/C drowns out most sound though."

"Idk if there are rooms facing away from the street, but those would be recommended if you're a light sleeper, not that Bogo streets at night are busy, but the occasional tricycle passes by."
